Battery ordered incompatable with my new camera Hahnel Extreme pro has to be the v6k firmware version v3k was sent. Apparently when I contacted Hahnel this was an old stock battery not happy. Delivery was fast though...

I had a terrible experience with this camera store.

I travelled over 2 hours from Birmingham to buy a camera priced at £150, which was sold to me as fully tested and ready to shoot. The salesperson assured me it was fully functional and did not need light seals.

A few days later, I had the camera checked by a repair shop who confirmed it did need new light seals, costing me an extra £40.

I then took the camera on my summer holiday, paid to have the film developed, only to find that all my photos were ruined with marks.

I paid another £50 to have it inspected and was told it had a serious shutter fault that would cost over £100 to repair.

I phoned the store and was told that even though the 28-day return period had ended, because the fault was hidden and the camera was sold as “fully working,” I could return it for either a refund or store credit. Based on this, I paid £50 in train fares and took a day off work to travel back.

However, when I arrived, the cashier completely refused the return, despite me confirming over the phone beforehand that something would definitely be done.

In total, I spent £150 on a faulty camera, £80 on extra costs, £50 on travel, money on film and developing, and lost my holiday photos — all because the store mis-sold me a camera as “fully working” when it clearly wasn’t.

I will never again buy from this shop and I would strongly recommend avoiding it!

Took my sons camera into store for sensor to be cleaned and upon arriving home and him inspecting it he found a large scratch and a small scratch now this was obviously done when cleaning but the staff member failed to mention it I did wonder why he kept going over the sensor a few times but was not qualified enough to ask why We are now facing a costly repair
The member of staff at no point mentioned a mark or residue on the sensor im sure if you check your instore security camera you will see that! He didnt even show me the sensor after he had cleaned it

Popped in because the focus screen had come out of my DSLR and I didn't trust my sausage fingers. Quickly fixed. Great service again!
