Camden council disgusting.

I don’t usually write reviews but I’ve never been so disgusted with this service I’ve received from a particular individual. An individual named “Soorbhi Parekh” that works at the Camden council has been communicating with me past few days and we set an appointment to meet at the Camden council building. When I arrived here today, I called her and she said “I’m sorry I’ve been under pressure and forgot about the appointment” At this point, I felt disrespected so I hanged up on her face I couldn’t be asked to hear her excuse since she wasn’t bothered to call me to reschedule. I haven’t bothered to communicate with her anymore from hence on forth. Also very unprofessional and rude. Speaks over me and speaks so fast and can barely make out what she says. Prior to our appointment, she failed to send me a list of documents to bring over with me to my appointment as discussed on the phone. Very unorganised and I hope I don’t work with her ever. 0/5 not recommended.

Useless

I recently moved to Camden, my sleep has been disturbed late night & early hours of morning by a huge dog barking non stop. I found out that it belong to a woman who lives down the street, seriously that is how loud it was. A man i spoke to who live nearby the woman said that he contacted a local councillor who live nearby too and apparently she walked down the street and could not hear anything? i find this hard to believe as if i can hear the barking from where i live, the councillor could definitely hear it. I contacted camden and they ignore you, they don't want to know. Another tenant said he called noise patrol, they said to phone the animal place called RSPCA, That is only for animal cruelty, this was a noise nuisance case but they still would not intervene. He also contacted the housing manager who is equally as useless and could not even respond.
The woman now has 2 large dogs and when she goes out and leaves them home all night, they are barking so much.
I regret moving to camden as they are seriously the worst council ever.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever.
I have put in a formal complaint regarding my repairs issue that has been going on over a year.
I’ve now encountered another repair issue and of course no luck getting that sorted! I’ve had to resort to paying out of my own pocket and getting the repairs sorted privately because there is no use in relying on camden council!
I get no help via the live chat function as the agents close the chats before resolving my issue or providing some clarity on the situation. Customer service agent ‘Sekani’ in particular provided no help whatsoever and of course closed the chat. When I call the emergency line I get redirected back to live chat!
I’ve wasted so much time chasing the repairs team but have got nowhere.
I’m beyond fed up.

Lived here 6 years had issues with a…

Lived here 6 years had issues with a burst pipe in my wall which soaked through the polystyrene tiles and the floor of my wardrobe which was built in
They left the leak go on so long it caused downstairs property to be ruined ceiling wise and they have now closed the repair. I’m suffering mental health and they won’t take the repair up online or when I call as I can never get through. My door won’t lock properly either my hands are so sore because I have to fix it myself as their locksmith is busy fixing other peoples doors and I’m distraught my mum passed away two weeks ago and I hate this property if she were alive I would live with her instead I’m stuck in a bad property with disrepair and the tiles have holes through the walls which have been there since the pipe burst and the bedroom smells of damp.

Absolutely terrible service

Absolutely terrible service. Camden council closed my account in error resulting in council tax not being paid. Complaint is ongoing. Staff need more training maybe and better pay, this may improve the service?

Environmental I’ll-Health Department

Continuous antisocial deliveries made in Coram St outside delivery times.
Occuring from midnight and in the early hours of the morning.
Main culprits are Costa Coffee and the Gym Group.
Repeated complaints to Camden council’s environment department and Adam Harrison result in nothing being done. This affecting the health of local residents whose sleep is continuously disrupted.

Just awfull fail to read notes lie…

Just awfull fail to read notes lie about showing up denie knolege of jobs raised luckily I keep all records of ref given verbally on phone because of this an it would seem if your a single parent they will try to send repair people at the time of school run that was mentioned on phone an in notes an will often attempt to call back regarding jobs or complaints at 3.30 hoping that I will miss the call all types of shadeyness this has got to be one of worst borough I have lived in I should have realised when the postcode on my tenancy I signed was incorrectly written causing a great deal of problems as a knock on effect was a sign of things to come if you can afford to pay someone privately I would recommend that as Camden repairs are impossible to deal with.

Camden have switched from RingGo App to…

Camden have switched from RingGo App to JustPark for parking. JustPark App is faulty and overcharging drivers for their parking.
Anyone with a personalised number plate that was on a diesel car and then moved to a petrol car still gets charged for a diesel car.
JustPark and by association Camden Council are actually defrauding drivers and they both should be penalised as JustPark cannot or will not correct their APP.
My car was sold 10 months ago and my friend's car was sol 4 years ago, yet we still get charged for a diesel car. Camden Council should get JustPark to correct their App immediately or get them replaced by another App. Otherwise they are complicit in defrauding motorists.

Im retired person living in private accommodation and the place is dangerous not worth living as i had notice from health department and had been handed over to homelessness department to baba tundi manager of the department but have not taken any notice, apart from the place is going to under construction because of the notice and do not have place to live but all in vane.

A year to get a decisaion about a complaint.

I filed a complaint about the library service on May 11th. It was ignored and so I filed another that they failed to follow their complaints procedure. That was ignored. I spoke to the Local Government Ombudsman who said I must follow their process first, and suggested writing to the leadership. This I did and, as expected, got some trivial emails and a decision to reject. But they refused to supply the clearance to allow me to approach the LGO. This will come in a month, apparently.

The LGO has a three stage process which takes seven and a half months, and so the total time to a decision is a little over a year.

Is this what the Labour Party expects?
