You've done it again...
Caliamo, you've done it again.
It's been a year since my last review of Caliamo, and a year since our last clean.
We booked Caliamo for a 5-hour clean, not really expecting it to take this long. Process was very easy, messaging through Whatsapp, and they sent me a form to fill in. The invoice and payment request was sent to me the day prior, which I paid, then the evening I got a call from the lovely Avril, who confirmed the details of what needed cleaning in our flat for the next day.
On the day of the clean, lovely July turned up and got to work on our kitchen first, as I knew that was the worst space. She asked me if I wanted the cupboards cleaned and I said yes, so she literally went through the cupboards and cleaned everything! She even went through and cleaned the fridge and oven and it was so so thorough and very clean. Our kitchen was admittedly extremely gross, as our usual cleaner hadn't been in a month - they are a service included in our rent otherwise I would be using Caliamo for regular cleans! July showed me the kitchen when she was done with it and it was absolutely fantastic as always! Counters were cleared and cleaned, and items that actually were supposed to be near the stove were there rather than all around the sides in the kitchen. I popped my sliders on as the floors were mopped but I neglected to realise that my sliders were a little dirty on the underside so I messed up her hard work! When she went to work on the bathroom, I gave the dirty spots a little mop so she didn't have to re-do her hard work.
The bathroom was clean and tidy and there was a board that we temporarily removed from under the sink that July very kindly put back into place for us.
Our spare room had dust and cat fur everywhere, so July gave all the surfaces a good wipe, tidied the random blankets and duvets we had strewn about on the bed, and gave it a good vacuum.
Then she did my en-suite bathroom and removed all the hard water (curse you, London!) stains from my toilet, shower, and sink which I've struggled with even with bleach.
I vacated my bedroom while July was working in there, and she was able to clean all the dust off my shelves and cat fur that had accumulated, and she made my bed and kindly and carefully laid all the clean clothes (that I usually dump on my chair) out for me as I told her I was going to pop them away later on.
She did an amazing job as usual, I cannot recommend Caliamo highly enough to all my friends that also live here! They are extremely thorough, do a fabulous job, and work SO hard at making your place sparkle! (And they don't mind nervous cats that hide from strangers)
Wonderful family business and I'm so excited to see how much they've expanded since I've last used their services <3
