Always loved Café rouge as its a little different from the other chains, he food is always stunning and you always have a good service from the staff

Terrible service left us 20 mins without a drink order then a further 20 mins before receiving the drinks. Only 2 waitresses in a busy theatre crowded restaurant meant we had to leave without getting our mains. You might think that 90 minutes is too small a timeframe to have 2 courses- not so in other better restaurants like bella italia or carluccios! Very surly unapologetic so called manager left me feeling disappointed and disgusted that cafe rouge really dont care if they ruin your evening. Tesco should defo remove them from their tesco rewards scheme- horrendous place. Shame on you cafe rouge norwich! Never again. Diners beware !

Me and my family have been big fans of cafe rouge for years now and have been delighted with our previous experience there with staff and quality of the food. So, we were very disappointed when me and my mother had a meal at the Canterbury restaurant.

It was the hottest day of the year and we had been placed outside with no parasol but as we were only there for a quick lunch we had no problem with that. We had ordered the same meals from the seasonal set menu and our starter had arrived promptly and was delicious. But our mains never turned up! We thought at first that it was because it was very busy but after 2 hours or mains hadn’t turned up. As it was very hot that day we were already getting angry and the waiters hadn’t even asked us if we wanted another drink.

Finally we managed to get the attention of a waitress and ask where our mains were and she had said they had accidentally lost our order. 40 minutes later they finally brought out our mains with no appology!

We've had some good customer experiences in Cafe Rouge outlets over the years but our recent visit to the Cheltenham branch was poor. The staff were pleasant and polite but quite a bit of what we ordered wasn't available. There was no garlic bread and no bouillabaise, which I had planned to order. I ordered the Tian of Crab and Advocado asking for it as a main as there was nothing else that appealed.
With no garlic bread available, we settled for plain bread with balsamic. The bread and butter arrived but the balsamic arrived 10 minutes later once we'd eaten most of the bread. While still finishing this bread, the mains arrived. The steaks were given to the wrong guests who had to swap them around after cutting into them. My tian of crab was very disappointing, bland, globby, padded out by two large toasted pieces of bread. It is a shame as my experience of Cafe Rouge has generally been good but this was not one of them with a lack of menu items being my main concern.

Just been to Cafe rouge Loughton Essex. for Lunch Been many times & NUNO the waiter is exceptional!! As he always is .This waiter should be in a TOP west end restaurant & would not be out of place .We have been to many & he is as good as any of them.
The food is good & service so much better when NUNMO is there.

Lunched at Cafe Rouge Exeter last week (6 Oct). The food was very good, service for the main course a little slow but worth the wait.

The ambience was good and a window seat is a must if you're into people watching the busy pedestrian way outside.

We shared a triple dessert which was enough for two and included a coffee.

The service from our lovely smiley waitress, Eva, was excellent.

The last couple of times I have been to Cafe Rouge in Solihull, the food has been amazing but the service has been so slow. The staff are very polite but there just isn't enough of them.
Yesterday, I ended up leaving the restaurant without even having a dessert which I was very much looking forward to! I asked for the dessert menu but it just never came and I got fed up of waiting.

Duck is great! Service is good and always a nice atmosphere.

Prices are pretty ridiculous, however, you get what you pay for!

A friend and I visited Cafe Rouge for the first time in December and we had a very pleasant evening. The food was gorgeous and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We will definitely go back for more.

Best, most enjoyable meal that I can remember! And I'm well traveled.

Warm friendly service, delicious hot food, came away feeling lovely and full.

We will definitely be back again and again and for me that's unusual as I seek out places I've not been before.

I am simply a very satisfied customer, go and try the cafe, we visited the one in Bristol's Cabot Circus and can't rate it highly enough.

Brilliant and above rating very well deserved thanks for a lovely meal x x
