Ordered Sunday came today, Thursday and was Bank Holidat. Great boots and excellent value for money. You don’t receive an email confirmation but I called up and the customer service was excellent.

Do not use this company it doesn't deserve your custom.

The company dispatched my order very promptly, but having paid for next day delivery, it was disappointing that the carrier failed to deliver for 3 working g days. I did complain because I wanted them to take on holiday. They refunded the delivery charge, and the boots are great. Wider calf fitting than I expected or needed but they are good quality, very comfy and colour as shown. I’d buy another pair. Good customer service!

First of all they charge £5 for delivery, when the product finally arrived it had an awful smell, the width of the calves were way too baggy which would have let in any rain. And finally each boot differed width size over the toe/forefoot crushing one significantly and that is the narrower foot. I now have to pay another £5 to return. Do not buy it's not worth it...

I had a struggle to begin with in that the design of the first boots I ordered was such that, having a high instep, I couldn’t get my foot through the ankle part; and, because of the sale, the wider version wasn’t available. The boots are beautiful and I was so disappointed. However, Dylan came to my rescue and offered to note my need for the exchange and to send them to me when they were available again. True to his word, the new boots arrived just before Christmas. He kept in touch with me throughout providing customer service second to none!! I also bought a boot storage bag which is perfect, ensuring that the boots are protected and will keep their shape. Final note: If you have a high instep as I do, it’s definitely worth thinking about buying the wider option

Cabotswood have proved to be extremely efficient.
They were very quick on Christmas Eve to sort out an order issue, I already have a refund …… and I love my dry, waterproof, toasty, stylish new boots!

I purchased the Amberley 2 Country Boots in Chocolate colour. They are very comfortable and the sizing is perfect. I was also sent a free boot bag which is of excellent quality too. The customer service experience has been very professional also. I would definitely recommend this company and their Boots.

The Country Boots were certainly worth waiting for after abit of a postage delay - as fantastic quality boots, beautifully packaged, and really chuffed with the complimentary wellie bag too!

A Very disappointing experience
After the advertised delivery date passed, I contacted Cabotswood for an update. I was told that one item in my order had been delayed, which can happen — but no attempt was made to inform me until I chased them myself.
I was then advised the order had been sent via Royal Mail 48-hour delivery. Ten days later, nothing had arrived.
I contacted Cabotswood again, now three weeks after placing the order, and received an extremely unhelpful response. I was told I would have to wait until Royal Mail returned the parcel (despite Royal Mail having no record or idea where the parcel was) before I could receive a refund.
I explained my consumer rights, including the right to a refund if goods are not delivered within 30 days. This was dismissed.
Thankfully, I paid via PayPal and was able to recover my money that way — otherwise I suspect I’d still be waiting.

To clarify the timeline: I called on Thursday 11th December and spoke with Elliot, who advised that a replacement order would be sent out to arrive the following day. I was also told that I would receive email confirmation, which never arrived. When the replacement also failed to arrive, I called again and spoke with Peter (who I understand to be a manager).
During that call, Peter stated there was no record of my earlier request for a replacement and informed me that I would need to wait until Royal Mail located and returned the original lost order to Cabotswood before a refund could be issued. This directly contradicts what I was previously told.
Given these inconsistencies, and the lack of any written confirmation despite assurances, I find this response disappointing. The large number of similar negative reviews detailing comparable experiences appears to provide a far more accurate reflection of the issues encountered than your reply suggests.

I received my Henley 2 Country Boots - Oak/Tweed - EU 39 / UK 6, and I love them so much! they fit lovely they are leather and waterproof and I cant believe they was only £29.95 in the sale, such a bargain. I would fully recommend this website and I will be using them again .

Poor quality, not as good as previously purchased, cheap plastic smell .Disappointed and now can t contact anyone to get a refund or send back.
Purchased boat shoes via Amazon. Fell apart within two months and customer service was terrible. Sent them to Cabotswood at my own cost to be told they had been ‘well used’ - after two months!!! Terrible quality products.
Boots didn’t fit well - too long for my short legs. So I returned them and waited a couple of weeks for a refund. Didn’t hear anything so emailed them, no reply a week later so I called them and they put through the refund. They deducted £5 and I’d already paid £6.95 delivery so it cost me £11.95 total to try on a pair of boots. Not impressed.
Returned some boots at my own own expense. Boots were returned and I had a tracking notification. I contacted them as I’d not had a return 10 days later, they said they would sort it. Three days later I contacted again as still no refund, they said they had put it in my PayPal account. It wasn’t there so I contacted them again….im still chasing my refund. Do not buy from this company.
The boots are terribly made, it will destroy your feet. Do not trust them on their sizing nor on the quality they purport. To top it off, their customer service is atrocious.
You've been warned, do not deal with this retailer.
