Fish is coloring up beautifully and arrived healthy, safe and happy. Took maybe a week to get him used to pellets in addition to live. I think he ate all my shrimp so he definitely want going hungry!

I am impressed with the selection and web interface at BW Aquatics, and the streamlined purchasing experience. My only caveat was that with next day shipping, there wasn't much warning of when fish would arrive, once packed and ready. That just made it a little tough to make sure I was around to receive the animals. The fish I received were in good health and beautiful. A great resource for hobbyists! Overall, a good experience and would recommend for others.

I received four beautiful, healthy wild-type bettas from Blackwater Aquatics! I'm new to fishkeeping and had never ordered fish through the mail before. I really appreciated the transparency around their quarantine and shipping process. Also got lots of updates through the Shop app, so I was ready to take the fish right when their box arrived. And I learned a lot from reading the blog posts on the BWA website before I placed my order, so I was better equipped to help them settle in and color up once they arrived. One pair spawned only a week later! Super cool. I hope to order again soon.
