Good afternoon Penny,
Thank you for your review. I'm disappointed to read that you feel your experience with us is 1* worthy, due to the delivery made by our delivery partners, APC.
We dispatched your order on Monday, as requested, with APC, a overnight courier. You should have received an email from them on Tuesday morning to give you a 2 hour time window they estimate delivery to be made within.
From their tracking I can see that they attempted delivery on 06/09/2022 10:16:44. Unfortunately no one was in at the address, they should have left a card to say delivery has been missed and the order has been returned to the depot closest to your recipients address.
From the tracking, delivery has not been reattempted, this usually happens when APC haven't been called to rearrange the delivery or the online form done to rearrange outside of their opening hours. This can sometimes happen when the recipient is not expecting a delivery.
I have checked our emails, and cannot see any contact between us in regards to this order, other than your initial order emails.
Please contact us on hello@butlerscheeses.co.uk or by calling 01772 669000 so we can discuss how to rectify this issue as we do not like to have unhappy customers.

We do not have large bulk sized Lancashire cheeses on our website, however we do offer free delivery on orders over £30 for those orders where a couple of blocks or wedges are just not enough :)

Wonderful cheeses
Wonderful cheeses. I ordered the letterbox pack, such a lovely gift and great value. I had a problem with delivery and they offered to send a new pack. It arrived in the end but the fact they offered is amazing. Excellent customer service and products.
