Dishonest company
My father recently bought a motability scooter from Bush Healthcare. The women in the shop were wonderful, however sadly he passed away before ever really using it (besides a 50 metre trip to Morrisons cafe). When I contacted Bush to inquire about buy back they offered 50% of the money back (£1k, paid £2k). I thought that was shocking tbh. I went away to consult with the family and inquire on other avenues to sell but to save hassle I called back a few days later accepting and duly returned the scooter on a weekend and was told I would be contacted on Monday to arrange the payment. Monday came and I received a call saying they were happy to proceed with the payment but the offer had reduced to £800. Given everything that I had on after losing a father, I just accepted as I wanted the ordeal over with but spoke of my dissatisfaction and in fairness to the girl at the store, she was apologetic but just relaying head office's instructions. Disgusting behaviour from a company - the scooter was brand new, still had the stickers on, completely unmarked. I bet they put it back up for sale at double the price they gave me. Felt they completely took advantage of the situation. Not to honour an already low-balled offer left a very bitter taste.
