Helen did an outstanding job explaining tongue ties and the process involved if my baby needed treatment. She examined my son swiftly and efficiently, and she calmly confirmed he did have a tongue tie. We then went over the pros and cons of the release procedure, and Helen was able to address all my questions with her extensive knowledge. The procedure was done promptly, with all necessary precautions taken. She provided clear aftercare instructions and followed up with an email containing a useful video guide for home exercises. We can’t thank Helen enough!! My son had reduced feeding for weeks resulting in a hospital stay where he was seen by multiple doctors and consultants who all missed the tongue tie. It wasn’t until I took him to see Helen that his tongue tie was diagnosed at 11 weeks old. Helen was the first person to truly listen to our concerns and therefore knew before even looking that my son was tongue tied. He had his tie cut the same day and became a different baby overnight- feeding well, happy and healthy. Helen made us feel listened to, supported and put us at ease during the procedure. We cant thank Helen enough. Our baby was 8 months old and still not eating foods with any lumps at all . We had been back and forth the GP referred to the hospital on a lengthy waiting list when Helen was recommended to us. She is so full of knowledge and had our babys best interest at heart from the start. I called before booking a appointment and was given so much advice over the phone so we decided to book to be seen in the clinic , within minutes Helen found what she though could be the cause along with a toung tie , although from a business point of view its beneficial to go ahead with the division Helen said she didnt feel that would be the best option straight away for our baby inorder to achieve the goal of her eating . Instead she cave us a plan of exercises and toy recommendations to help lower our baby's pallet and if that didnt work after a week we would go ahead with the division. But fortunately that was not needed because of all Helens knowledge we have been able to lower out babys pallet and she is now tolerating lumpy food and will suck on finger foods which to some isnt a big thing but for us its the best outcome . We are so glad we got recommended and will definitely recommend to other parents 😃.

Great experience, Helen is really knowledgable and helped us during a really tough time with our newborns sons feeding and cows milk protein allergy. She responded quickly when we had questions and really listened to our issue, she provided a clear plan going forward with tongue tie and recommended a great osteopath. Our newborn is so much better at taking the bottle now and his allergy is under control

Helen was brilliant with our little one, found a tounge tie straight away. Helen gave us lots of information and all the relevant options we had to move forward. I had my concerns over my son’s feeding since birth. At 5 weeks old, I knew I had to seek support from a professional. I visited Helen’s clinic in Neath as I believed him to have a tongue tie. Helen explained everything really well to me and my husband. We didn’t really know much about what a tongue tie was and what the division procedure was. It was confirmed that my son did have a tongue tie, Helen explained the type and score, the division procedure was completed after our consent was provided. All after care was explained aswell as a follow up email with video instructions. Since the procedure my breast feeding journey is back on track and I felt supported.

I was dreading having to go through the procedure but Helen was calm and very reassuring and the procedure was over in less than a few minutes. Helen was knowledgeable, professional and very friendly when assessing our 3 month year old for a tongue division.
Helen talked us through the process, assessment and diversion and helped put our nerves at rest.
The actual diversion was over before we knew it and was very efficient.

Helen was knowledgeable, clear and most importantly kind to me as a first time mum having issues with breast feeding. I was given clear explanation of the issues at hand and despite there being a posterior tongue tie, Helen advised a different course of action than cutting it. I am grateful to Helen for this honesty and acting in the best interests of me and my baby. We went on the have osteopathy as recommended by Helen and feeding has improved immensely, without the need for a division.

Helen assessed my baby to have a significant tongue tie which required cutting.
helen explain the entire process to me and reassured me. she explained the risks in detail and what action would be taken in different scenarios. the cutting process itself took approximately 10 seconds and then she immediately latched baby onto me. Helen has given me follow up support via text message and has been in contact with health care professionals since in order to support my feeding journey. Helen also offers a follow up appt at approx 3 weeks after initial appt to reassure you the cut has been successful or whether further division may be required. i would highly recommend helen.

I struggled to initially painlessly breastfeed my daughter due to quite a significant tongue tie. We had reservations regarding having it divided but after Helen was recommended to us, we were guided through it all by her which gave us the confidence we needed to go ahead. It has made a huge difference and breastfeeding now is enjoyable and pain free!! Helen listened to my concerns, observed a feed and examined my baby. She then explained everything and gave the options which included not cutting it and waiting to see if things improved with a little time.

We decide to cut the tie as we had a rocky start with our first borns breastfeeding journey where I suffered with pain and mastitis for weeks before getting help and I didn't want history to repeat itself. Helen explained what she would do and the risks etc. It was over and done with super quick and baby was back on me feeding seconds later.

Since the division feeding has been going great and it's reassuring to know that Helen is there if needed and has messaged to check in on us as well.

I can’t recommend Helen highly enough. I paid to see her after my baby started dropping centiles (and actually lost weight at one point). I was a bit sceptical about whether she would be able to help as had already asked for support from the health visitor and gone to the nhs support groups. The advice she gave me completely changed my breastfeeding experience. My baby gained over 1lb in 2 weeks! Helen made us feel so comfortable and was so knowledgeable and compassionate. I have had so much confusion and conflicting reports on NHS assessment of my son's tie, I didn't know where to turn next with a foggy mind on what is best for him going forward. I found Helens clinic from a friends recommendation and in 30 minutes Helen made me feel heard, gave me clear answers and advice going forward. Excellent help with tongue tie revision!

Fantastic experience. Post tongue tie division I’ve seen an immediate improvement in my son’s ability to latch. We’re now having a much easier time breastfeeding which is just wonderful.

Helen was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and informative at our appointment. Plenty of time was spent explaining the procedure (frenectomy) complications and aftercare. Really couldn’t recommend more highly.

Helen also spent time with us after the procedure to give us as first time parents plenty of helpful tips and gave us an invitation to her mother and baby group. It was so refreshing to feel like someone cared and to not feel rushed. It felt like Helen genuinely wanted to see us thrive as parents and give our child the best head start.

Helen was fantastic in explaining about tongue ties and if my baby had one what the procedure to release would look like. She was quick, efficient and relaxed in checking my little boy and was able to confirm he did have a tongue tie.
We then discussed the benefits and risks of release and Helen was very knowledgeable and could answer every question I raised.
The procedure was Carried out swiftly and with all expected safeguards in place. Aftercare exercises were explained and an email sent afterwards with a helpful video guide on how to do these at home.
