I can’t rate Alex and the team at BMT highly enough!

As one of the many ISG staff unexpectedly thrown into redundancy, the support provided has been incredibly valuable. From the start Alex has been proactive in forwarding my CV to prospective employers, setting up WhatsApp groups for legal issues, IT, company introductions, benefits advice etc.

Their targeted support has made my redundancy easier to navigate and I am pleased to have a selection of job offers to choose from… all within 1 month of being made redundant.

The immediate support from Alex and the BuildMyTalent team for all former ISG employees following the company going into administration has been outstanding. They have worked quickly and efficiently creating a very informative WhatsApp group, which for example gives available jobs, legal advice and IT guidance. Alex has sent CV ‘s to agencies on our behalf and checked in personally to see how our job searches are going. One of my colleagues hit the nail on the head saying the support provided made her feel less alone and hopeful during a difficult time.

Following the collapse of ISG Buildmytalent were immediately on hand to create a responsive support network and community that did two things: 1) enabled ex-colleagues to make sense of a difficult and confusing situation impacting from the administration of such a large company; 2) provided a link and bridge to potential employers to help the transition to the next steps in their careers.

Can’t rate Build my Talent highly enough!! Alex Ramsden took it upon himself at no cost whatsoever to set up a massive roll out of available jobs and roles to everyone from ISG who were made redundant. The amount of work and truly unsociable hours putting together spreadsheets of jobs for over 2000 people is truly inspiring!!
It helped me get my next role and that was within a week of being made redundant. BMT will always be my first point of call should I need any recruitment services in the future

Alex and the team at Buildmytalent have been amazing at supporting the 2400 employees that lost their jobs at ISG. Alex quickly rallied, making WhatsApp groups, connecting with other businesses and getting everyone in the same place to communicate. He also sent our CV's directly to companies to find us roles. He has gone above and beyond what anyone expected, often working well into the evening. So many people have found new roles already and without Alex, that would not have been possible. After ISG went insolvent, around 2 1/2 thousand people were left in massive uncertainty and potential financial issues. Alex and the build my talent team stepped in really quickly to give us all support and hope in a difficult time; he set up a community for a lot of ISG people to connect, Alex provided access to legal advice, direct access and also introductions to a large number of companies in construction, and he and the team went above and beyond in the support they have given. I cannot thank them enough for how much help, reassurance and active job seeking support they provided to a very large number of people. Alex and the team have been truly incredible and how they have supported us and have genuinely made a very difficult experience a lot easier to navigate through their guidance, experience, and active support. Thank you so much, it has been so appreciated by so many people. If I could give a 10 star review I would.

I was one of thousands of casualties of the ISG Construction collapse. Alex Ramsden from BuildMyTalent quickly supported everyone by setting up numerous WhatsApp groups for everyone affected to come together. Alex arranged for companies to join one of the groups to advertise their vacancies. Many people have now secured new posts thanks to Alex. The other groups provided guidance on legal, financial, apprenticeships, maternity and IT matters. I am sure that without the unwavering support from Alex, many would have felt alone and unsure of the next steps. A HUGE thank you from me. Jane x
