Damaged goods
Be sure to double check your items aren’t damaged before the delivery driver leaves. I received damaged plasterboard that wasn’t recognised until after the driver had left and builders insulation will not help at all. I’m a return customer who has spent a lot of money with them whilst renovating my house but will now be using a different merchant.

Overall pretty good
Initially got a delivery date that was almost 3 weeks away unless I paid £200 extra for delivery. But after discussing with them they arranged delivery for the same week for only £45 more delivery charge.

Acoustic insulation
Easy enough to order online and delivery was quick. I ordered to much and was able to return it (minus a handling fee) but would recommend to use them, very efficient.

Twenty rolls of insulation arrived on two palettes in a lorry far too big to fit down our farm track. The driver then drove them both down the track on his forklift and asked ‘where do you want them?’ Exemplary service.

cheap products that arrived smelling awful and a little damp. thedelivery driver was a little odd too, phoning me and assuming i wasn’t in for literally no reason as they hadn’t knocked on or rang the video doorbell.

Very disappointing and misleading…
Very disappointing and misleading experience.
I placed an order with Builders Insulation and was initially told that the materials would be delivered. After completing the order, they suddenly changed their story and told me I would need to collect the materials myself, and only then would they tell me the warehouse location.
Then they said they don’t operate on Saturdays, which was never mentioned beforehand. Eventually, they directed me to another company to collect the materials, and it became clear they were simply reselling another company’s products at a higher price without adding any real value.
This is extremely unprofessional and misleading. They gave false expectations about delivery and acted as a middleman just to increase the price.
I would not recommend this company. Very poor transparency and a complete waste of time.
