Constantly buzzing saying it had detected a fall when mum had only just moved her arm - changed the settings but it made no difference and ended up getting a different device

A good idea but far too sensitive.It activates whilst I am going about every day activities such as cleaning and cooking, having a drink with friends and clapping to music. Seriously considering closing my account and returning item,

Not particularly impressed with the Buddi as my father who is 80 has given to me due to the button to call has fallen off.

My mum (93) has had buddi for a few years now and luckily enough has never needed their help BUT they always respond super quick to an alert, ringing mum or myself or husband who are her contacts, ringing straight away!
They even changed her unit free of charge as for whatever reason it decided it didn’t want to work anymore.
All the advisers at the end of the phone are really polite and helpful, friendly but professional!
My only critique would be the most sensitive level still makes an alert if for example mum shakes her hands after washing up etc etc! Maybe an ultra sensitive level could be added??

Hello, the Buddi works well in theory as long as you remember to charge it up. My elderly parents were not in the habit of charging devices so it did not work well for us. Also had numerous fall alerts when no movement being made.

Buddi gives me confidence when should an accident happen my daughter will be notified.
Only one down side if I clap my hands it does tend to alarm when not needed.

My mother had a fall when out and alone. The system didnt detect it ir register she had fallen. She was left without anyone finding her until a stranger found her.
Absolutely disgusted by the service. Thus is also a replacement watch after the last one failed also.

Although it provides confidence that someone will come to my rescue if i fall (as I can't get up) it doesn't always remain connected. It is also sometimes hyper-sensitive although I have fallen at least twice when it hasn't been triggered at all. I find it adequate but not perfect.

We ordered the Buddi for my dad, he kept falling over and having him wear the Buddi gave us peace of mind, knowing we could get to him when he needed us. Thank you for giving us that reassurance.

Have found Buddi very beneficial. They are very prompt in replying to my Buddi alerts. Really glad I got it.

Fastening the wristband was difficult but the Buddi team replaced the "catch" with a magnetic one which now works beautifully. My husband can now put the wristband on and off without any problems.

Cannot recommend. They have issues that need resolving & we have tried by loads of phone calls and e mails to resolve. All fall alerts recieved were false.
Wristband hard to fasten with the old style which we had to revert back to because replacement ones watch strap style, (new one) was not accurate re charging, we got alerts all the time even when apparently fully charged to say low battery within a day 10%. Also the alert buttons on the side came off easily ( Buddi did kindly reimburse for that one so we went back to old design but after today we had enough)
Today GSM failed at 06:47hrs, only got out of range notification at 10:54hrs, battery on wristband showed 76% then when checked again showed 84% without the clip having a GSM signal!
Lady I spoke to at Buddi today said it only uses one mobile network. To me that means when it goes down it doesn't have a backup provider & was hours before you get an out of range alert. Lady said it backs up every hour so not sure why such a delay.
Good in theory but tech not there yet in our opinion & experience of using it.
Cancelled today. Please note this was 5 stars re the below response from Buddi, but we have tried everything for it to work and it caused more anxiety than the product was worth.
