Buddi looks good, is easy to set up and is uncomplicated - however do not feel the functionality is very good or reliable. It sends alerts all the time when the wearer is sitting still, but then other times when the wearer is active or drops the watch it doesn’t react. When we tried to speak to someone about it the only advice was to reduce the sensitivity which we have already done.

This has not a recent purchase , so I’m not sure why it says that, anyway Buddi is good, does what it needs to. If it gave me better warning of low battery that would be useful .

Prompt replacement of my wristband when the two side bbuttons were lost and developing recognition of some of my movements as activity, not a fall. I do have to add that it still registers a fall when I use garden loppers or grass shears.

Purchased the Buddy Clip for my Granda who has Dementia. We used a previous GPS Keyring that since ceased operating that was a fraction of the price and worked so much better.
Firstly, within the box there is no instructions or set up guide. You aren’t shown what the buttons do, how to set it up or what the colours mean on the clip. Some of this info is available online on the FAQs but a lot of it is missing. Setting it up online is very clunky and would be hard for someone who doesn’t use technology frequently.
Trying to set up the contacts for alerts is another issue, I’ve added 4 contacts and put SMS alerts on 2 of them, yet got no SMS alert when the panic buttons were pressed. Only an email, which is not ideal.
The biggest complaint I have is the app, this app is pretty much useless for the Buddy Clip. It’s also needlessly complex to set up and there doesn’t seem to be any way to use the location service for the clip. It’s merely to send messages and “buzz” the clip which is pointless for me and my family.
On the basis, this product is £180 upfront including the £21 monthly charge, I would suggest you look for alternate devices.

The watch disconnects continuously. I have to check the app every few hours to make sure it's connected, if it's not, I need to text my grandma to re-connect to her phone. Which doesn't give me much faith.
The buttons aren't easy for her to press with her arthritis so we just pray it works if she happens to have a fall.
