The quality of their work (british-proofreading.co.uk) was unacceptably poor and completely unprofessional. Not only was the copyedited work riddled with errors, but it also contained elements that bordered on impudence. By this I mean the copying and pasting of phrases generated by the standard AI responses into the manuscript. See the two texts below:
