Bought a house through this company. The house we bought specified in details it had a downstairs toilet which we needed. Was told downstairs toilet just needed plumbing in. The toilet did not work at all so they mis sold the house. How can an estate agent list something that is not true?

Fantastic! That pretty much sums up our experience, Ashley from the Knutsford branch in Cheshire has been incredible, we had been on the market for 3 months with another agent with little interest and minimal effort from that agent.

Fast forward 2 weeks, Ashely stepped in, had us 5 viewings booked within the first 3 days before even getting us back on RightMove, the day it went up we had an offer and sold.

I genuinely can't recommend them enough, fantastic communication throughout, both really friendly and knowledgable in comparison to the other agent it has been night and day.

Tried to view a property that was coming up for auction but could never get to speak to anyone and left numerous messages and emails.
When eventually I got through, they took my details and said someone would contact me when viewings were being arranged.
No one did contact me and again had to ring several times (even tried other offices) and eventually got to speak to someone only to be told viewings were over.
The day of the auction I was contacted about the property but I explained to them that no way would I bid on a property that I had not viewed. I also told them to tell their manager of my experience. I was then asked lots of questions that I didn't want to answer. They were just trying to get me onto their mailing list.
Answer your phones or have the decency to answer your answerphone messages!

The worst estate agents ever. If you’re considering them, do not do it. So at the end of October i needed to move out. So i found a flat, viewed it, applied, got accepted. So obviously i handed in my notice at my current housing. I requested to send my boyfriend to pick the keys up as i was in work until 6pm. Double, tripple checked if they needed any confirmation for him to collect them. Was advised they needed nothing as they would recognise him from the viewing. At the point of the keys being handed over they told my boyfriend he had to sign on my behalf… As the estate agent walked my boyfriend up the stairs of the flat she advised him that some pidgeons had broken in and pood all over the floor. Baring in mind at this point, i’d spoken to her on that day and paid over £1000 to their company. It is just me on the agreement so it’s a breach of DPA that they advised my partner that and not me on the call where i paid them money. I asked to get keys early so i could move in my stuff. So with the bird poo all over the floor i did ask how they expected me to move my furniture over that. After confronting the company about advising my partner to sign my name i was advised WE should have known that was wrong. It took a week to sort this out, i have now had to find other housing as i had about 2.5/3 weeks until im a 19 year old homeless person… After displaying my annoyance to the company the rudely asked if i could live at my parents or my boyfriends… I have finally managed to get keys for a new flat however now i only have 4 days until my tenancy runs out. Baring in mind i work 7:30am-6pm so now i’m having to rush everything in 4 days. Also, the day i picked up the keys i was told they didn’t have the key for the front door of the flat building which is by the car park. So now i’m left with 4 days to move my stuff in & no access to the building. I must admit, i do have a key to the other door on the building. however to get to that door you have to cross a bridge, go up and down some stairs therefore is the complete opposite of convenient. This estate agents is a joke and has only caused me stress. If i didn’t have limited time to leave my current property i would not be staying with them.

I want to thank Alison and her team in Stafford for their faultless support from late May to September 2022. The service was excellent throughout, from the valuation right through to completion. The marketing day led to about five immediate offers including several over the 'offers above' price. STC was achieved within days. Due to problems (now resolved) with our purchase, the completion was delayed. The team always ensured our buyers were kept informed. We were always able to speak to someone immediately and responses were helpful and speedy. I can unreservedly recommend Bridgfords.

Please be very careful of the all individuals in Warrington region. They book you in diary with intention of providing expert valuation of property. Ask you to fill out a form with all your personal details, than essentially ignore you, don't show up to a booked appointment etc.

I have simply reported them with evidence of emails to HMRC.

Bridgefords Walkden sold our house within a week.Good one off price for selling.
Hannah kept in touch with us,about all aspects of the house sale.And rang our conveyancers if there was a problem.Would recommend them and Hannah to sell our house again.

Most unprofessional, inadequate, inexperienced agent in Chorley.
No customer care priorities in the slightest.
I was supposed to be moving properly in the rental market and weeks ago I viewed the dream cottage in the right location where I used to live and where my daughters also love the area.
My plan was to rent there for 18 months, we are back in the area and then buy there.
The fees were paid, References given and anticipated move in date agreed.
In the mean time I had sold my lounge furniture in preparation for the move, boxed most of my belongings up, booked and paid for the removals in two weeks time so I was organised.
I suddenly received a phone call off the unprofessional and ‘scatty’ sounding lady at bridgefords in Chorley saying that even though I had a guarantor and my salary is 70,000 pound a year, I couldn’t have the house due to a fully settled ccj from five years ago.
This was made fully aware to her weeks ago when I first called up to enquire about the property and I was told it’s settled so with a guarantor things would be fine.
Basically because of the negligence of the staff at bridgefords in Chorley and their incompetence, I now have lost the money for my removals, have to spend days unboxing my belongings, and try to fix both my daughters little hearts who couldn’t wait to move back to the village of wheelton which they love and now isn’t happening.
How these people have jobs and careers is beyond me and I personally won’t be stepping foot near this horrendous estate against ever again in my life and will be making sure everyone I know is fully aware of how they run their business and treat their staff

I recommend our local branch in Walkden, Manchester to my son to sell his home earlier this year. They found a buyer quickly so we were pleased. However since then their service has been abysmal. We never receive updates, they rarely chase solicitors or buyers claiming they get no response and think this is acceptable. They recommended a convancer to first time buyer that farmed the work out as they didn't deal with shared ownership. That solicitor took 12 weeks to do anything then disinstructed their client cause she complained and has now had to started again after 4months at the beginning. Bridgefords have been less than useless, John the manager has been rude and dismissive blaming covid for poor service. His attitude is "it is what it is". And yet they are the most expensive with their fees. I wouldn't recommend Walkden Branch to my worst enemy.

Ciara Dodd, branch manager, provided an exemplary service selling our land. She came as a new manager shortly after we put our plot of land up for sale. She was very professional and supported her staff in making an extremely tricky sale happen. Her valuer, Sam Orson, also did a wonderful job keeping us informed at all times. The team kept us going through highs and lows. We cannot praise them highly enough. We recommend Bridgfords in Marple wholeheartedly. The team will work so hard for you.

I have just called this letting agents and spoke to a very unfriendly curt unprofessional Elisha, we wanted a flat for our son and I was going to use them to sell my house but have decided no to both, horrendous customer service.

I have just purchased a house in Manchester Ashton Under Lyne. I had a brilliant experience with a gentle lady called Rebecca Walsh. Excellent communicator, right from the start till the end. Kept me updated about the vendor. I had many queries about the property. Rebecca got the answers from the vendor. Kept a good chain of communication. Gave advise to some things. She is a key to her team and a valuable asset. I spoke to Jodie and Stacey. All a lovely bunch of people. I had a very good experience with Bridgefords Estate Agents in Ashton Under Lyne. Definitely recommend them to anyone and family and friends.

I am not happy with this Letting agents, they never solved any of my problems/issues during tenancy.

Except from taking Rent these guys take no responsibility for any sort of issue like maintenance, security, plumbing, house keeping, garbage collection. Especially in Apartments situation is too worst w.r.to communal areas. They will convey the same stereotype answer every time you report your concern and no solution.

I viewed a flat with the intention of buying it to rent out. We proceeded to purchase the flat but raised a query with Bridgefords, could they confirm that the flat can definitely be rented out. They confirmed it could. 15 weeks later, having spent £750 on solicitor and mortgage fees, the deeds to the flat state that it can't be sublet and the property management company will not waiver this clause.
Bridgefords advise that the seller told them it was ok to rent out, so the liability lies with the vendor. The vendor has no legal obligation to cover any of my costs incurred to date. Surely there should be more checks than a conversation with the seller to confirm what the deeds say!

This property was mis sold to me and Bridgefords have seen me out of pocket by £750

After a stressful time trying to find somewhere to live on a deadline and having a really upsetting experience with another agent who was rude and condescending about us because we're low-income earners, the first phone call I had with Bridgefords was honestly a God-send. They didn't act like it was a big deal, said we could use a guarantor or savings and didn't discriminate. Every agent there I've spoken to is an absolute delight. Personable, friendly and down-to-earth. Hands down best experience we've had with an estate agent and we're now happily renting a great place with no issues.

what else can I say other than pick another estate agents! From start to finish the experience was awful,so unhelpful and the solicitor (Conveyancing connect) were just as bad! I used the chorley branch wish I hadn't bothered 9mths to sell a house with no chain and I sold within 2weeks.

Poor service by the branch in Manchester. Did not like the way Zahid spoke to me, he was abrupt.

Put a sign for sale on my house that is not even put on the market by us. Felt so harassed and If they can't do things right why would you put your trust. Waste of space
