Used this breakdown cover for the past 4 years and to renew the policy is no problem on line I have not used it for a breakdown as yet so I can't review it

Slow communication

When I rang the emergency breakdown number after payment was taken they had no record of me on file for several days

All fine with renewal. Very efficient and rapid.

Stay well clear of this Mickey Mouse company.

I took cover out in April to start at the beginning of May 2018 I paid in full and received all my documents.

The number that they tell you to ring is for National breakdown and I got through to Kevin, only to be told he had nothing on his system for me or my vehicle. Bare in mind this is in June that I’m ringing.

He said “nothing I can do sorry but this happens quite a lot”

Absolutely furious This company doesn’t seem to very organised.

I cannot really voice my opinion as I have not used Breakdowncover but the price is certainly quite reasonable

A few years ago I left my vehicles lights on while in the UK on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day the car would not start. I rang Breakdown Cover and withing an hour on that day I had a recovery vehicle arrive and get me on the road again.
That is what I call service and is why I will continue renewing my policy.

Went to purchase European Breakdown cover - customer service person very helpful until she went to apply discount and computer system would not allow it. My case referred to help desk but no follow up from them. Rang two further times and waited for up to 20 mins before hanging up. Eventually got through to customer service person who explained situation, resolved issue and put policy in place. Frustrated at having to chase up to get issue resolved.

I have been with this company for 6 years now, I have needed the service a couple of times and cannot fault it. I would recommend them without reserve.

Quick service which got me back on the road after my breakdown. A rather grumpy mechanic in attendance but he knew what he was doing.

Had a puncture on the motorway with tyre almost in flames. The taxi would not pick us up as it's a motor way!
Gave a call to qdos and I they arranged the pick up as well as the spare tyre replacement service with in 1 hour. Really pleased with the service!

First time ever braking down, and it had to be in the evening on a freezing cold Boxing Day last year.

I’ve been with QDOS for a couple of years now and just like you reading this, I was a bit sceptical to say the least, but I must say they were brilliant. I called them up and explained what had happened, my location, needed recovery as the car was completely dead and the temperature outside was dropping fast. The person on the other end handled my call very efficiently. The recovery tow truck took an estimated 45 minutes to arrive.
It really hit home how lucky I was when I spoke to others about their brake down ordeals. Someone told me that they had to wait about 4 hours to get rescued.

I would highly recommend QDOS to any motorist.

The only downside is there does not appear to be anywhere on my on line account where I can query the new costs negotiate lower terms. I tried to make contact on the telephone but was kept on hold for so long I gave up. However the times I have had to make use of the breakdown service I have been treated with courtesy and very prompt and excellent service.

Haven't had any breakdowns yet and hope we don't need to but its nice to know we have someone to help us when needed and the prices are great.

I've only had to use this breakdown service once in the many years I've been a member but when I did the service I received was brilliant couldn't fault them I was dealt with efficiently, courteously and speedily and for the price you pay it's great
