Nice and straight forward form… almost!!
Nice and straight forward form procedure, just had a slight hiccup trying to change the start date of the cover. (There was a ticked dropdown box labelled Edit Policy or Date details, which when pressed returned you to the original Vehicle and Cover Page... Catch 22!! very frustrating)
After 3 or 4 attempts, and then scrolling down the screen slightly, it turns out the very next box was for changing the start date of the Policy... doh.
Other than that, great value cover the UK and Europe, even though I still hope we never have to actually use it. :-)

Eversure - The Gold Standard Recovery Policy
This breakdown cover is the Gold Standard for sorting you out when you need help. (Which is not a surprise, as I used the recommendation from Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert - another rare Gold Standard!)
With Eversure you are sent a link to your SMS which is brilliant! There's no misunderstandings - you just put in your location details and other relevant information, and the App keeps you informed as an information centre. This feature reassures you that you are being watched over by the angels - in this case Eva.
It wasn't long before the roadside assistance turned up and confirmed that the car couldn't be moved as the starter motor was jammed solid. You just know that you would be helped on your way in most cases if it was possible - but in some situations you need the next level. C'est la vie!
So as the recovery team were unable to get me going, I needed the next level. Car stranded, and Band practice abandoned! No man is an island entire of itself!
Eva via Call Assist - the link who sort you out when you need a port in a storm - was on hand to reassure you and let you know that they are keeping an eye on things and look out for your safety. You are in safe hands.
Which is when Robert from 247 Recovery arrived! He is an amazing and thoughtful engineer - very affable and professional. He had the car on the flatbed in a thrice - and dropped me off at my nominated garage.
Considering the unlucky situation, the team that is Eversure, Call Assist and 247 Recovery are a very seamless operation - as I said - A Gold Standard Recovery team!
When you have experienced such safe and efficient service - it's best to keep your (separate) recovery subscription going - don't leave it to the lottery of signing up to whoever your car insurance hooks up with!
When Martin Lewis recommends something - prick up your ears and listen!

Excellent breakdown cover provider. We always had very bad experiences with insurances. However, we have broken down in a remote place in Scotland and in a trip to Germany and their service is excellent. Nice staff, no insurance premium increase if you make a claim. 100% recommendable.
