Very long winded story line
Very long winded story line, with the lady (Annabelle) who is narrating trying to hold her barking dog for the majority of the time, meaning quite a few mistakes were made.
A lot of the time there aren’t any horses on show as they tell the story without any performance, and in the dark, this being about 70% of the show.
Actual performance started 30 minutes late, and in uncomfortable chairs and a bored child this was not fun! My child also ended up extremely bored half way through the show as it was mainly a story telling show rather than an equestrian show.
That being said, when the horses were actually out, it was a very good performance from both the horses and riders.
I think the show would majorly benefit from cutting the story just a bit, or having the horses on show whilst the story is being told as it did get quite boring just sitting in the dark listening to somebody tell a story about a horse, rather than paying lots of money to see horses and not really see much of them at all.
Too long and underwhelming
Too long! There is no doubt the horses are beautiful, and the people running the event are warm and friendly. However, the show itself was too long, with too many “fillers”. The videos played between each performance were unnecessary, and rather boring, and even some of the live performances were underwhelming. (The circus “show”, the wedding carriage and some of the singing performances could have been removed, or been made to be more entertaining). So we won’t be recommending.
Improvement needed
Having seen some of the horses & riders at an agricultural show we were really looking forward to seeing the Bravo show. At first I thought that it might be aimed more at children but regardless we purchased four VIP seats.
I have to say we did come away feeling rather underwhelmed & disappointed, we were correct this show with it’s storyline is definitely aimed more at children although we as adults were a little confused with the storyline ourselves.
The show seemed disjointed & as though something was missing, we were there to watch the horses & were hoping to see a lot more dressage than there was. While the narrator was telling the story why could we not watch more horses in the arena at the same time, the narration was far too much & drawn out. There were also far too many songs sung throughout, we were there to see live horses & riders, what happened.
Don’t get me wrong both horses & riders were extremely talented however I just don’t feel that this was showcased enough in this show & that is such a shame that their talent got lost a bit somewhere.
The VIP seats were great for the raised central view but with no reserved seating were pretty pointless, expensive for what they were & very uncomfortable with no backs on padded benches and just one row of proper chairs. If you didn’t already suffer with a bad back you certainly left the show with one!
Absolutely amazing show you will not be…
Absolutely amazing show you will not be disappointed!!
A disappointing experience
We went as a family for a birthday treat. Bought VIP tickets (you just get a central view, still no assigned seat or anything else) that were not worth the money. We love horses and we were expecting a great show.
On the positive note, if you love dressage you are going to love some parts of it. The horses and the riders were very talented and gave us moments of joy. But that is it and after a while it does become quite repetitive. Unfortunately the production, the singer, the narrator and actors do not match the horses/riders. We couldn’t even hear the narration well, the music, everything felt like a true amateur play. It felt like we were at an end of the year school show instead of the critically acclaimed show we thought we were going to see. And paid £48 a ticket for it!
The young kids enjoyed the horses but it did feel for the adults a true rip off. We have been to many horse shows and this has been one of the worst experience.
Such a pity! Honestly, I am utterly surprised of the good reviews as it has been the most disappointing experience we have had in a while.
Unfortunately I do not recommend.
What an amazing show
What an amazing show! The horses were absolutely stunning and amazing. So well trained. The riders and horses made the moves all look so easy. The atmosphere was brilliant too with the lighting, special effects and music.
The ticket price was extremely reasonable and I would recommend anyone to go and see the show, whether they have a passion for horses or not.
Review by disabled visitors
The party that attended included one severely disabled, one slightly disabled, both elderly, and one other, they all had a fabulous time, stated that everyone was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble, they thoroughly enjoyed the show, and hope to go again at Christmas. Well done.

First time visiting Bravo
First time visiting Bravo, what an amazing show. The story was moving and emotional. The skill and talent of the horses and riders was phenomenal. Already booked tickets to visit again

Just watched the most beautiful magical equestrian show!! Watching the horses dance in delight with their talented riders was the most mesmerising experience!! The equestrian centre is so well managed, clean and all the horses are so well kept and looked after. Will be back soon.
Brilliant Horse Show !!
The show was Brilliant just Brilliant.
Second time I’ve seen the show just fantastic.
Brilliant show
It was my second time visiting Bravo. Really brilliant show. Lovely rapport with riders and horses so envious of the skill of all the riders and horses.
Singers and guests were amazing.
Staff and riders were friendly.
All in all a fantastic show
A magical spectacular
Wonderful show, beautifully choreographed, storyline, lighting, sound and costumes. The horsemanship and skills demonstrated was superb. A very professional show to suit all ages. The promotion of it doesn’t do it justice, you need to experience it. The feel good factor lingers on.

My husband said it was quite a lot of money for the entrance fee etc . He also thought that the horse would off showed on there ability to navigate a course of obstacles, primarily jumps . Then doing the other thing. In the show . He said something was missing.
My mum absolutely loves horse she felt that they worked very hard but something was missing. And as the chairs are plastic and she has a bad back . That didn’t help I think what they could do is buy cushions for customers to seat on or use behind there back . I loved seeing the horse . They are absolutely gorgeous. But my husband said it was very repetitive. So they need to up there gain and do something different. The story telling my mum got a little lost . But I appreciate it is so difficult with horse and it doesn’t always go to plan. But I loved watching them x
Fabulous show, beautiful horses!
We absolutely loved the whole show! The storyline was excellent and the horses magnificent.

Excellent show my son with SEN really enjoyed it.
A MUST SEE
A MUST SEE. The show was so well put together with great music and a very sweet story. I was amazed at one particular rider, who I found out later was called Stephen. The quiet way he sat on the horses was fascinating. I could have watched him all night. We met the horses and some of the cast after the show. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I just had a fabulous mother's day. Thank you
Amateur and disappointing!
Having been to see the show in November last year I decided to treat my mum and Nan. To say it was a disappointment is an understatement. It wasn’t anything like the show I saw before. The scene about the war which was amazing before was boring and not at all moving this time with different horses. The whole thing felt very amateur and not nearly as impressive as it was last time. Some of the horses weren’t behaving and we noticed lots of mistakes, dogs barking etc. We had to queue for a long time during interval and couldn’t even get a hot drink! I really wouldn’t waste your money. Such a shame because we really enjoyed it before.
The story was quite boring for young…
The story was quite boring for young children. The show was bitty and drawn out. Some shown on a screen. It would have been better if the horse show was condensed into a shorter time and not padded out with cine film. It also started 20 minutes late and had a drawn out interval to encourage you to spend more money. When the horses were on, it was good.
Beautiful amazing show
So joyous to watch the connection between horse and rider, literally gave me goosebumps! I was mesmerised from start to finish. Wasn’t sure if my 4 year old granddaughter would sit still for that long but amazingly she did (with a little additional commentary from me in her ear, she found the war scene a little frightening), but loved stroking the horses at the end of the show.
Well done to everyone putting together such an incredible show, a real pleasure to watch and great entertainment for the price. Thank you
