Where do I even start. Great and friendly right up until the COVID pandemic. Created brand new terms and conditions (which we didn’t agree to) and forced them on us. When our wedding was cancelled in 2020 they Illegally increased our price when the government said they couldn’t. When we asked to cancel they charged us a 50% cancellation fee OF THE NEW PRICE which wasn’t mentioned in the original terms and conditions.

We lost nearly £5K which has completely ruined our wedding day. Our solicitor advised us it would cost us more than it’s worth to sue them but we’re pursuing other options.
I’ve spoken to a lot of other customers that they’ve done the exact same thing to.
They have no remorse whatsoever about what they’ve done and refuse to admit they’ve done anything wrong.

To the people at Boutipi I’m sure you’re going to read this so I really hope you’ve enjoyed spending my hard earned money. You certainly didn’t work hard for it.

I’m going through every platform I can find to share our horrific experience and to try and warn people about what’s happened to us and is currently happening to other people.

Absolutely wonderful company. From first contact to wedding day, everything was perfect.

The Aurora marquee is simply stunning and the Boutipi customer experience is second to none.

I can not recommend Boutipi enough.

We chose Boutipi for our wedding in July and I'm so glad we did. It's a family business and you can really tell. They really go the extra mile to ensure your day is perfect. The tipis looked gorgeous and the team even helped us decorate them with 100 pompoms, which was above and beyond the call of duty! Planning a wedding is stressful and we had issues with some of our suppliers being unreliable, but Boutipi were fantastic from the start. I love the fact people are still talking about our wedding : )

I can honestly say I have never been to a wedding like this! I'm my LIFE!!!
The decor was just out of this world.
The food was just absolutely amazing
The staff were soooo friendly and I love that it's a family run business they always listen to what you want and always go that extra mile to make that day extra special just for you,
The venue for the tipis was just stunning at a stately home in East Yorkshire and when the sun went down and the little fairy lights came on it was just so magical, IF I ever get married I will definitely be having these. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Whoever books their wedding with this amazing family business you will not be disappointed.....at all.

Perhaps we were unlucky or standards are slipping at Boutipi.
We chose Boutipi from several companies we had considered because they were local and the tipis are indeed beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful to begin with, then it all went sour for us 3 days before our wedding. To cut a long story short, they positioned the tipis in an area different from that we had asked them to and we were left feeling ignored, blamed and undervalued as customers when we asked them to sort it out. This happened despite us having met with them way in advance to illustrate how we wanted walkway positioned around a bush and where the tipis would therefore be located. We were left with what was for us, an awkward space on the site that we had to make the most of to use. What worsened the whole ordeal for us was being told that we would have to pay even more money to have the tipis re-positioned! This despite that they hadn't been erected where we had asked for them to be in the first place.
I am not one for confrontation, but my cool was certainly tested during a phone call where I was on the receiving end of all sorts of statements I couldn't believe from one of the ladies in particular. I held my nerve and only listened in dismay. What seemed to be a misunderstanding on their part on the mention of a catering tent we had booked separately quickly turned into a nightmare for us and we are still yet to receive any semblance of an apology 2 weeks on from our wedding day.
I am sure others will continue to have better experiences with this company - as I said, we were perhaps unlucky. Unfortunately, we certainly won't be recommending Boutipi..... quite disappointed.
