I love boom. Who doesn't like free money. Either way you're not losing out. You can Either win all your money back or a lose bonus. You literally can't lose.

I’ve been booming a around 2-3 months now and I see it as you may as well try... if you can win even half of what you’ve spent I think that’s good. I've been using Boom25 for a few months now. I've had one win so far but I have loads of purchases waiting for approval. That's the only downside to this site, having to wait a few months for some of the transactions to be logged.
Otherwise I'm very happy with Boom25, it's easy to use and you stand a good chance of winning money for nothing, what's not to like?!
All it takes is a few extra seconds to load the Boom25 app, search for the shop you want to buy from, and if it's there you load the site through Boom25 and your purchase gets logged on your account. There are a lot of us Boomers so the odds are pretty good, why not give it a try?

Im still fairly new to this, I subscribed beginning of September, and love the whole Idea of this but so far I think companies like Top Cash back and Quidco are more beneficial.

Since September I have made many purchases and have not won on any. Thats fine I know you cant win every time, and yes you do get a bonus for participating, but with companies like Top Cash and Quidco you get cash back for your purchases everytime whether it be 2% - 10%.

I will still use Boom25 but I dont think they will be my first choice

I've purchased one giftcard from Boom25 before with no trouble. It's worth being aware that the gift cards are pay in advance directly through Boom25 and you get a code to use at a retailer, which is different from their 'buy via their affiliate link and be entered into a draw to win some of that money back'.

This evening I purchased a £200 giftcard from John Lewis. The money came out of my bank immediately (I received a notification), but the 'pending wheel' kept spinning for several minutes after the money had been taken. Eventually it landed on a page that said that the payment was still pending (a lie) and that I'd receive an email with my code when it had gone through. I received zero confirmation email saying that it's even just confirmed, zero 'pending' option in my gift card section on my dashboard - nothing at all, bar the £200 that was taken out of my bank.

I've still heard nothing. I can't even send them a message via their website because the contact form wouldn't send when I clicked the 'send button'. I've tried this on three different browsers.

I've seen many comments from people on Facebook that similar things have happened to them and they've had absolutely no communication or response from the company. This is a large amount of money and to receive no confirmation, nothing, is incredibly upsetting, especially after reading other experiences people have shared. I won't be going near Boom25's gift cards with a ten foot pole again.

Chances of winning are so low you may never get a payout. Other cashback sites like TopCashBack or Quidco will ultimately prove to be more worthwhile as they are virtually guaranteed payouts even if the individual amounts are lower.

I would honestly only bother with Boom25 if you can't get cashback from elsewhere.

Also unlike other sites if your purchase doesn't track there is no recourse, they will not add it manually. When I contacted their customer service I was essentially told "tough luck" and then ignored when I asked why they could not add it manually.

Other criticisms are that some retailers in fact only pay out 30% or 50% cashback instead of the 100% advertised. And several retailers require you to pay in special Boom25 giftcards, which means that if you need to return something you won't get any actual money back. You'll only get your refund in the form of another store-specific gift card as the retailer cannot refund money you didn't spend with them.

Make no mistake, this is a gamble. And the house always wins.

I love boom25. Between wins and bonuses I have got nearly £400 back in under 6 months. I have also won a 32gb fire tablet on there Facebook page which is run by some of the best and active admin I have seen in these groups.

Absolute joke of a site. They took £100 from my account for a gift card but never gave me the card. There was no were to click on the gift card to get my pass etc. They now just keep sending me more or less the same email saying I need to click on it. Do they think I'm stupid, I know how to get the code, but if there's no were on it to get my code then that's obviously impossible. Fuming with them now. That's £100 of my kids Christmas. Dont waste your time.
