I entered the hospital with a friendly smile. During the pre-operation process for my rhinoplasty, while the nurse was inserting the IV line, she intervened in such a way that she forced the vein with the needle, causing blood to spurt everywhere – my hand, the sheets in the room, the floor, the nurse’s clothes, and my own clothes. Before even undergoing surgery, I was terrified, wondering what would happen afterward if I ended up in this state just from an IV line. On top of the excessive bleeding, she kept pressing on my hand for such a long time that I almost fainted from the severe pain. I have never experienced such a traumatic IV insertion in my life. My mother has been a surgical nurse in the public health sector for 45 years, and I also studied nursing. Yet, I did not encounter a single person who showed any human empathy or care. After all this, and even after meeting with the doctor, I had no choice but to cancel the surgery.

After all the stress, nervous breakdown, and tears, I was still required to immediately pay the 16,500 TL fee, which was requested for just a few hours’ use of the room and the blood tests needed to determine my suitability for the rhinoplasty.

On top of that, I experienced another situation that made me feel extremely unsafe.

My gold jewelry (rings and bracelets) went missing in the room. While I was taken to see the doctor, the only people entering or leaving the room were staff members. Later, I learned that staff rotations were very frequent, and the hospital floor was otherwise empty at the time.

The private room I had paid for did not meet my expectations for safety. Coming here turned out to be a huge mistake.

I am an international patient. My hotel accommodation, flight tickets – everything became a loss. I do not feel safe in Turkey. I returned to the Netherlands devastated, with both financial and emotional damage. I truly don’t know what more could have gone wrong.

I have now realized just how accurate my friends’ advice to “be cautious” when dealing with private hospitals in Turkey was. Based on my personal experience, from now on I will only choose private hospitals or public hospitals that are well-known, reputable, and place a strong emphasis on trustworthiness. This review is entirely based on my own personal experience and observations.

La mia compagna si è affidata a Prof Clinic, promoter attivo su Instagram, per un intervento estetico a Istanbul. Il percorso, gestito commercialmente dalla Natural Clinic, prevedeva il prericovero, l'intervento presso il BHT Clinic (ospedale privato), e il post-operatorio. Purtroppo, si è rivelato un incubo sotto ogni punto di vista.

1. Mancanza totale di informazioni sul post-operatorio
Nessuno ha informato correttamente la mia compagna su cosa avrebbe comportato il post intervento, né sul piano fisico (dolore, limitazioni), né su quello emotivo. Le poche indicazioni sono arrivate solo dopo l’intervento, quando era ancora sotto effetto dell’anestesia, in stato confusionale. Nessun supporto preventivo, nessuna preparazione.

2. Assistenza carente, igiene discutibile
Il personale non parlava italiano, né inglese: comunicavamo con Google Translate. Durante il ricovero al BHT Clinic e poi nella struttura di Natural Clinic, le pazienti erano lasciate da sole, sofferenti, a volte in lacrime.
Garze sporche a terra, drenaggi mai svuotati: sono stato io a doverli gestire per la mia compagna. Unica presenza gentile, un’infermiera giovane e inesperta, che cercava di confortare donne disperate in un corridoio freddo e disorganizzato. Tutto questo è avvenuto in un ambiente che, seppur apparentemente pulito, non garantiva un minimo standard igienico o umano.

3. Intervento non riuscito – nessun risultato, solo dolore
A distanza di cinque mesi l’intervento non ha dato i risultati sperati. Peggio: la mia compagna ha sofferto dolori fortissimi nei punti in cui sono state inserite le cannule, ben oltre quanto ci si aspetterebbe da una procedura del genere. Il disagio psicologico e fisico è stato enorme.

In conclusione: un rischio per la salute, una perdita di tempo, un trauma psicofisico ed un esborso economico senza alcun ritorno.

Sconsiglio vivamente di affidarsi a questa catena (Prof Clinic / Natural Clinic / BHT Clinic). E non fatevi ingannare dalle tante recensioni positive: quelle negative vengono regolarmente rimosse. Anche la recensione della mia compagna è stata cancellata dopo richiesta di "ulteriori chiarimenti" da parte di Trustpilot.

Can’t trust this place with nothing. Super shady

The staff was great! Very friendly, they explained everything in detail. Clean and organized office.very relaxing. I no change in my results from one treatment.

Sarah’s friendly smile welcomed me as soon as I arrived. She explained everything in detail, showed all equipment. She was very attentive to all my questions and made sure I understood all aspects of the procedures. She reached out to me the day after to make sure everything is ok. I really appreciate her attention and dedication !

I took the $37 offer I saw on FB. I'm absolutely thankful I did because I'm going in for the red light treatment in the bed. It has helped my pain so so much. I have severe arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, POTS, neuropathy and many other things. I first wanted to come in for so weight treatment but with speaking to Jenny she gave me more information and benefits of the red light bed which the offer is for. I said you know my pain is the top of my list and that's the most important thing in my life right now and just want some relief. My body was so inflamed and tight, I've had 4 treatments and I can tell the difference each time. Yes the bed also helped with fine lines within face as well but just knowing I'm feeling tingles all thru my body head to toe during my treatment and after I know this is helping.
Anyone in doubt, don't be because I'm 100% satisfied with the treatments I'm getting. Jenny is always welcoming and asks how I'm feeling before my treatment and checks on me afterwards. She always has a smile on her face and it makes it easier to feel welcomed there.

Wish I could have had more time in massage chair. Staff was nice and knowledgable. I would go again.

The Dr is passionate about his job. And he seems knowledgeable. I was a bit leary about measurements though...he measured arms loosely, then afterwards, measured tightly. I want to believe in it...so I'll have to do it a few more times.

It was a very informant experience. Their method was explained in a non-rush way which made me feel like I mattered to them. Sam made me feel like I have lnown her for years so I wasnt feel selfconscience at all. They all earned my respect.

The red light therapy pod is amazing. The day I went was a cold day and I was pleasantly rewarded with the warmth of the red light. It was like lying on a beach in the sun. With little fans blowing a chill breeze on your face. Paradise. The massage plate underneath was so relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Oh, and then there's the health benefits of red light to boot! The staff were pleasant, energetic, warm, and one can see there is true relationship with their patients. Thanks so much team!

I signed up for the $37 special and am very happy with the experience. From the overview of the process to the actual Red Light Treatment everything and everyone were exceptional.

The equipment they have for this is so cool, easy to use, and painless. I actually almost fell asleep during the laser part. In one session I lost ½ an inch around the targeted area (belly). Incredible!!
The only thing that makes this less than 5 stars is the fact that for many people including myself, even with the holiday deals and financing, it's hard to afford.

I was able to get an appointment right away. The office was clean and relaxing. The team from front desk to technician to everyone I passed by was pleasant and smiling. Destiny explained things thoroughly and there was no upsale pressure. I signed up for a treatment package because I felt that I could trust them.

Staff explains benefits of therapy and it is a comfortable experience.
They are not at all pushy. Love that.
