The manager at the N11 store was extremely helpful (Sun 14/6/26) unlike the previous manager together with cashier I saw during the week 10/6. No need to give customers with faulty stuff a hard time to return or get a refund. I had to visit the shop twice and it was really unnecessary. Staff training is NEEDED badly.

What a shambles !!
B AND M ,NEWPORT SHROPSHIRE.
I was having my items scanned through the till and the elderly assistant scanned an item twice. She didn't have the authority to void the item she had scanned twice! She then phoned for assistant over the tannoy and no one came. She called at least another 3 times and still no one came. I asked how much the item was and she said £1,So i told her to carry on scanning my items and to forget about the £1. The scanner then wouldn't let her continue scanning!! She did apologise and I asked if the other assistant on the other till could void the item . She said no, we both don't have the authority. What is going on??? Why have staff, especially on a busy Saturday, that can't void items?? She did say that there was only 1 other person on the till at the front of the store too. So only 3 staff on the tills,and not one could void items!! After 2 more calls, still no one came!
I was now concerned that my parking ticket had expired! The assistant did walk off to find help, she returned quickly and eventually the manager appeared! At this point, I said to the manager, that if I get a parking ticket, B and M would have to pay, because of the wait and he totally ignored me!!! And NO APPOLOGY!!! absolutely fuming 😤 disgraceful service. The assistant said that the item had been voided now. On checking my receipt, the item had not been voided! Had a similar experience before Christmas about a refund...
What is going on??
Seriously considering not using this store anymore and would say the same to anyone else considering using this store.
I will also add, that on many occasions, there have been product trolleys left in the aisles and infront of fire exit doors! Avoid!

Fantastic value and there's always a deal to be had, a back massager reduced to £12 from £30, bargain. A beautiful plant reduced to £1.
I mostly love the options for bird feeding. It's my go to shop for this now.
Big shout out to Rick who is the friendliest and consistent member of staff.

I am absolutely appalled by the treatment my mother in law received at the tills in B&M beside Forestside shopping centre today, 12/06/2026.
While waiting in line, another customer aggressively pushed her trolley and cut directly in front of her. This customer then started making overtly racist, xenophobic remarks to the cashier, complaining about "all these people taking over her world".
Instead of addressing the customer’s disgusting behavior or defusing the situation, the cashier actively enabled it. The member of staff told my mother in law to go to a completely different till which wasn't even open while simultaneously continuing to serve the racist customer and the other people behind her in line.
To openly side with racism and penalize an innocent shopper who was just trying to buy cat food is vile. This member of staff lacks basic humanity, let alone customer service skills. B&M needs to investigate their till staff immediately and ensure they are held accountable. Absolutely unacceptable.

Went to Heywood b&m and Paula Price a staff member was brilliant she went out of her way to help me find the product I was looking for and even went to get an item from the stock room as there was none on the store shelf,she was so polite and really lovely and helpful.

Got the very best customer service today 12th june at tjw Greenock store,,,,,,the security man helped me to the checkout with my cases of juice then carried some to my car for me,,,,,he was lovely and so helpful. Kind regards lesley

I made a purchase in December 25 and the product had developed a fault, i contacted customer service who were fantastic and i have manged to replace my item for a brand new one.

What made the experience pleasurable was the service received from a new member of the gardening team at Foss Island Store in York. He was polite, professional and helped me all the way through the checkout to my car with heavy bags of soil. It was no problem to him and this is much appreciated since I can no longer carry such items. Many thanks for your help. Best wishes

Fragrant roses are NOT fragrant AT ALL‼️👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
In around February 2026 I bought 2 lots of Rose plants which were 3 for £10. I SPECIFICALLY chose them because they were marketed as FRAGRANT.
I am an experienced gardener and planted them all appropriately.
Only 3 grew well the others died. My main disappointment is that ALL surviving roses are NOT FRAGRANT at all‼️
These roses are from a company called De-Ree UL Ltd.
I want B& M to know they are marketing bluff.

Portmadoc store a nightmare .Labelling and pricing incorrect on a lot of items.Whilst B and M is very welcome in Portmadoc ,shopping there can be frustrating, as having to get things price checked .This is a regular problem Staff dont look very happy in their work
