Very difficult to understand the person I was talking to and I could hear other operators really loud in the phone in the background to other clients, very distracting. Also I got an email that my insurance was expired but no content in the email so couldn’t renew online.

Easy to get quote and pay online, great value
Easy to get quote and pay online. Clear Ts&Cs too . Quoted €31 per day for four days by Europcar in Cookstown for excess cover. Much cheaper with Blueinsurance. Great price.

As 'young' senior citizen it has been challenging to find insurance for visiting family abroad. Blue Insurance and medical screening are amazing. Dont go near other providers as they cover everything and customer support is outstanding

Unauthorised renewal and payment taken
I received a renewal notice on the 20th July. I replied in writing on the 20th July to confirm I do not want to renew. On the 17th August I received an email to say my policy was renewed and payment was taken. I called them and they said they are behind on emails and sorry about that. Very poor standards.

I took out this travel insurance policy for one main reason: to have cover for flight disruption. Unfortunately, that was the benefit I needed most and felt was most important, yet I didn’t actually get the cover I was looking for.
Instead, I was given winter sports cover as a free option for a trip to Amsterdam in the summer. I have to say, I was extremely disappointed by this. Out of all the benefits available, the one I specifically wanted and felt I genuinely needed was flight disruption cover, while winter sports cover was added as a “free” option that was completely irrelevant to my trip.
Honestly, being offered winter sports cover for a summer trip to Amsterdam instead of the disruption cover I wanted is almost a joke.

The time it took me to get through to you. A couple of hours that was the problem. Kept coming up vast number calis. I felt like giving up. Once I got through it was good. People will just go somewhere else because of time lost.
