I have had a great experience with…

I have had a great experience with Biodhealth from the start. Jennifer has been absolutely brilliant with information, from my first appointment to date. I feel like myself again since taking the medication advice from the team at Bio, my hair is back to itself, I get up with energy to start my busy day, my skin is amazing, my head is clear, I am sleeping well again, my menopausal belly has gone :) My aches and pains have improved. As a woman running a busy team at my Pilates Studio, seeing lots of clients and juggling family commitments, I feel as though I am back to managing life. Most importantly, my family see the difference.
I really do recommend just a chat if you feel your HRT, hormones, or just something is not right for you. Give them a call and book a chat.

Poor communication and slow response

I’m very disappointed, my medication is always late and I don’t get a regular review as promised. I have changed my email address but despite telling them they keep sending emails to old address. I have recommended this company to a lot of friends but I’m seriously regretting this

I finally feel like I'm being listened…

I finally feel like I'm being listened to and understood. Jennifer and Tunde have been super empathetic. A glorious woman came to my house to take bloods and then I had an online session detailing everything that's going on. I have been taking DHEA, testosterone and progesterone on top of the NHS prescribed oestrogen, for a couple of weeks now. Whilst improvements are slow to start, I feel hopeful that in a couple of months I will feel normal again.

Very disappointing experience.

I had a BioID catch-up call scheduled for 09:00 and joined on time, only to be left waiting for over 11 minutes with no call, no update, and no communication whatsoever. For a service that is meant to support patients, this level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.

It’s frustrating to have your time wasted, especially when you are relying on an important consultation. At the very least, a simple message or apology would have made a difference.

Unfortunately, this experience has left me with very little confidence in the reliability of the service.

My journery so far with BioID has been Brilliant!
Not least because Lisa (Patient Support Specialist) has been absolutely wonderful. I have felt listened to and understood and Lisa has explained everything to me and answered ALL my questions, of which there were many!
Everything has gone according to plan and full marks to the phlebotomist who came to my home arrived punctually, took bloods with ease, (zero pain )and was a very pleasant person too. My blood test results were back within 48 hours and a follow up video call arranged at a convenient time for me, on a Saturday, with a fully qualified nurse who was also excellent. She explained all the test results which were comprehensive and very reassuring, plus she confirmed what I've suspect for a long time ie I'm low in the one hormone I've been prescribed for 25 years and totally deficient in the 3 other 'Essential Hormones' that women need to function well and as they deserve to do. I really could not ask for more!
My history is:
I've been on eostrogen only patches for 25 years following a total hysterectomy. Unfortunately the private gynocologist, nor my GP enlightened me about the issues of being on an eostrogen only hormone because that is standard practice, no womb = oestrogen only treatment and nothing more. It wasn't explained to me that the 'essential' female hormones ie both forms of oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone (female version) and DHEA are necessary in order for me to feel like the woman I once was before the hysterectomy. Any woman who has been instantly thrown into Menopause post operatively will probably have suffered with some level of anxiety, depression, brain fog, fall in sex drive and many of the other unpleasant symptoms that plague women entering perimenopause & menopause naturally. It is serious stuff to be fair and can have a massive impact and can lead to losing the person you once were, which can also be a marriage and relationship breaker. Especially if it turns a functioning woman into a VERY unhappy, half functioning woman, barely recognisable to herself, family and friends. Not to mention the Night Sweats, painful joints & muscles, inability cope with situations that were once not a problem.....the list of symptoms is too long to write out here. However a simple web search will be enlightening. l can assure co female sufferers that they haven't suddenly turned into someone unrecognisable out of choice and what is happening to them is sadly VERY real! Plus its not a case of 'pulling yourself together' either!
So all I can say about my journey so far with BioID is it has been 'Top Notch' abd Thank You.
So why not book yourself an intial call with BioID, prepare a list of all your questions and take it from there?
I haven't felt pressured at all along my journey, nor sold into doing something I'm not sure about. I feel confident moving forward, the future looks Bright thankfully!
Bio identical hormone replacement isn't a new, fanciful, gimmick either. It has been around for quite some time but not available as such on the NHS sadly. I've no doubt that those women who have been informed and have invested in Bio Identical Hormones for their wellbeing and health are enjoying the benefits! I wish I'd known about BioID much sooner, it would have saved me and my loved ones a very bumpy ride and a plethora of medications that haven't worked and never could have! Hormone depletion can only be fixed with Hormones.....
I hope my review is helpful. I don't normally leave reviews but on this occasion I felt compelled to do so!
I wish you the very best of Luck on your 'BioID Journey' That said you won't need good luck because missing hormones need replacing with bio identical hormones its that simple ...you've nothing to lose and everying to gain!
p.s. lets not forget the MALE Menopause either!
As men age their testosterone levels naturally fall and we all know what that leads to! So share one of the best kept secrets that really does work with the men in your life! Missing Hormones need Replacing and they're readily available to men who want to be firing on ALL four cylinders again!

In addition to below they haven't responded to the escalation organisation, who've had to reach out to them again - mediation is a fundamental part of their CQC membership duties.

I waited for a refund from 4th December to 16th February.

They moved my blood retest from 10 to 16 weeks so that I would have to pay for another 3 months even though I had NO IMPROVEMENT whatsoever and I was contracted at 8-10 weeks.

They didn't respond to my complaint within their timescale and the escalation route they had was non-existent.

They kept my bank details, including CVC code on an open recording and have had to report themselves to the ICO because of it (I still haven't had proof that they did this).

They responded to my complaint saying I'd have to take them to court, rather than giving me escalation rights.

I requested a SAR which was incomplete - they had just happened to have lost the recordings I'd need for a court case - but the notes didn't start until well into my relationship with them. the notes weren't complete (calls to me hadn't been recorded in the notes) and there were discrepancies between the notes and other paperwork.

The SAR was sent in such a way that it took me a week to compile, calls had reference numbers and no dates, multiple copies of irrelevant information.

Also you probably won't speak to a doctor, this is a NURSE led practice with doctors in the background.

Dont be fulled by the cheap consultation and shiny advertising

This company were great initially (before you choose to sign up), but once they have your money the care disappears. I was meant to have a second lot of blood tests-still chasing. The initial meds arent working great (i didnt expect perfect 1st time around), but my follow up consultation was terrible, with the nurse rushing and wanting to get off the phone -it lasted 4 minutes. They tried to re-book me in again but when i looked into the nurse she specialises in aesthetics! Told them i want to see a proper nurse. I wont be re-newing my subscription with them. The lack of care has left me feeling worse.

They get you in with the cheap initial consultation, but dont be fooled!

From the first moment I spoke to Lisa I…

From the first moment I spoke to Lisa I realised that,I was finally going to get some answers to why I was as feeling rubbish. After trying HRT and then ,buying every supplement ever made for perimenopause I was beginning to think that my life was destined to be like this forever broken. Tests showed that pretty much ever hormone was low to non existent so now wonder I was not a functional human. Started my supplements and I await to see the results. I know it’s going to take some time but I’m hopeful I’m on the correct path

Feeling so much better

After 3 years of going to my GP and not feeling myself, trying different HRT and the GP not understanding how I'm feeling. I made an appointment for a consultation with Bioid health. It was the best thing I have ever done and I wish I had contacted them sooner. I had a consultation with Chelsea who was really understanding, friendly and supportive, she knew exactly how i was feeling. I then had blood work done and another consultation with Pazy who is a clinician. He explained all my blood results to me and went through everything thoroughly in a way that i understood. I decided to purchase the HRT and within a week I started feeling " normal" I have been on the medication 3 weeks and I'm alot calmer, I'm not emotional, less irritable, my body isn't aching, I can think straight, i have energy. My libido is coming back. I'm 54 and I'm starting to feel like i did in my 20's. I would certainly recommend Bioid Health.

Constant sales calls

Keep trying g to call mento force another sales call for blood results. Do they not.understand No means no. The costs are too high.

The best decision I’ve ever made

Getting in touch with Bio ID has been the best decision, for the last 18months I’ve felt exhaustion like I’ve never felt before. My mental health has been on the floor and I’ve stopped making plans, having fun or enjoying mundane things I used to love. Lisa has been such a kind, considerate and supportive person to take me through the whole process. Not just that but has given me a full, up front idea as to how the process works, timings and costs every step of the way to make it so much less stressful. The blood test results were quite different to what I was expecting but the way Lisa managed the treatment plan and medication has been nothing short of wonderful. I am now a month into my medication and already feel so much better, checking in with Lisa this week was great and I already have my follow ups booked for bloods as well as consultations.

I’m only 39 so really thought I was too young for this to be needed but talking to Lisa who’s been through it all herself at an even younger age has been a game changer.

Such a brilliant, brilliant company - every person has been so kind. I wanted to get a grip on my health in 2026 and thanks to BioID and Lisa I’ve done exactly that!

Despite negative reviews on here I can…

Despite negative reviews on here I can say I never had any issues.
My initial consultation with Dr Norton was thorough and she answered my questions with great clarity.
All blood tests and follow up consultation so far happened as per schedule outlined in their initial consultation and medications are dispatched fast. No issues with deliveries either.
I feel much better since my TRT journey has started, there are no instant fixes as improvement is gradual but noticeable. My sex drive improved first, anxiety disappeared over the period of three months and night sweats are much less common and less intense than they used to be. My sleep improved immensely.

I contacted the company as a last…

I contacted the company as a last resort, nothing had helped me with menopause symptoms. I tried synthetic HRT , 3 different types and it made me worse. I checked this company out and decided I would try the bio health hormones.
From start to finish everyone was really helpful and knowledgeable. Ros called me exactly as scheduled and I started my journey
I had bloods done then Dr called and had a long chat about my blood results and what bio identical hormones I would be prescribed which would be made accordingly to my blood results. 3 months later I’m sleeping the full night!!!! No flushes and my anxiety has definitely gotten better - still a working process to get that sorted. More bloods in 8 weeks to check that out. I couldn’t recommend the company highly enough, I am so glad I contacted them.

Review of BioID – Extremely Disappointing Experience

I had a very disappointing experience with BioID and would strongly advise others to think carefully before committing to treatment with this company.

Initially, Chris Markey sold me the TRT package and painted a very convincing picture of the service and results I could expect. Unfortunately, once I had paid for the treatment, the level of care and support promised simply never materialised.

When problems began to occur with the treatment, the lack of communication and support was shocking. After my second blood test, the clinician advised that they would contact me every two weeks to monitor how the treatment was working and adjust it if needed. This follow-up never happened and I received no further contact.

Following my concerns, I spoke with Hannah O’Leary, the Operations Director, who assured me she would stay in contact and provide support while we tried to understand why the TRT treatment was not working as expected. She also promised to send me her direct email address so that I could contact her with any questions. This was never provided and again I received no calls, no emails, and no support.

When undergoing hormone treatment, proper monitoring and communication are essential. Unfortunately, BioID completely failed to provide the level of care and follow-up that was promised.

As a result, I have requested that the remaining six months of my treatment plan be refunded.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. There are far better clinics available that actually care about their patients and provide the monitoring and support that hormone treatment requires.

Prescriptions cannot be issued on demand, and all medications, particularly those that are controlled, require appropriate clinical assessment and safety checks prior to prescribing. These processes are essential to ensure safe and responsible care and cannot be bypassed under any circumstances.

We recognise the importance of continuity of care. In this instance, we arranged for your blood test to be conducted earlier than originally scheduled to help minimise any potential interruption to your treatment, while still adhering to clinical guidance. Your results indicated an improvement in your levels, suggesting that the treatment was clinically effective.

In relation to communication, while it is not operationally feasible to provide routine bi-weekly calls for all patients, we can confirm that updates were shared via email regarding your treatment timeline, and our team remained in contact with you in relation to your prescription. We are sorry if this did not meet your expectations.

We would also like to reassure you that your concerns were fully investigated by both our Operations Director and the clinician involved. A formal response was provided in line with our complaints policy, and a refund was issued in accordance with our refund criteria. A gesture of goodwill was also offered following this process.

We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, based on our review, we are confident that appropriate clinical care was delivered and that all procedures were followed with patient safety as the central priority.
