Ordered replacement brake pads online. Order arrived quickly but was the incorrect part. Returns form and contact us form on website don't work. Emailed for a return/refund but no response.

Online Bike Purchase
Bought a new Ridgeback Errand at a heavily discounted price - the bike was delivered by polite staff to my house fully assembled 2 days after my online purchase. It was great service and much appreciated.
Thank you.
Dishonest and incompetent
Dishonest and incompetent. I brought my electric bike to have a puncture fixed. When I picked it up I noticed that the worker broke the plastic cover of the electrical cables that had to be disconnected to replace the tire (and I know it was fine before I brought the bike there, since I checked the tire myself).
The worker that had done the “repair” at first admitted breaking the bike and not telling me, but then his handlers/bosses told him to say that it was already broken, and he went on to lie to my face following their prompt - total shameless dishonesty.
Don’t deal with these people - there are plenty of honest and competent stores around, and this ain’t one.
PS: and if you don’t believe me, just read the tons of negative reviews (I should have done that too).
Lovely man in Bike House Kentish Town…
Lovely man in Bike House Kentish Town fixed my saddle on my way home, which had somehow got itself into an un-rideable position! Not sure I'd have made it up Archway Hill without his help, for which he wouldn't take payment.
Thanks so much.
Jenny
Being decent does not cost anything
Got a flat tyre tonight and my little portable pump broke. Walked 10 mins to get to them to see if they would lend me a pump. I was told that they do not do a "pump service" and don't have a pump they could lend me - but they could sell me a pump and their cheapest pump was £24. So they would not pump up my tyre but would sell me a cheapo one at inflated prices. Most cycle shops would help out a fellow cyclist - I really hope karma strikes them! They have lost a customer for life
Just ripped off by this bike shop
Just ripped off by this bike shop
Given a price for new chain and gears
First cycle clearly work not done properly - and I was asked for more money to fix work already paid for
Certainly will never use them again or recommend to other local cyclists
AIR SUSPENSION FIXED and back on ROAD .
I foolishly tried to fill my shock absorber with air but got
lost in the process , thought i'd seek professional help at a local bike shop , And out of 5 , yes 5 cycle repair centres i tried , BIKE HOUSE LONDON was the only 1
able to get me back on the road . .THANKS TO THOSE GUYS . . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BIKE SHOP and will be using them for future repairs . .
Disgraceful
graceful customer service, charged me 79GBP to put a bike into a bike box when they knew I had no other option. A 10/15 minute job. Called the owner to try and pay a more reasonable price. Offered 50GBP, which is still ridiculously high, and was threatened that they'd give my bike back to the previous owner if it wasn't paid, baffling. As if that wasn't enough, after paying I called several times to have the bike put in a bike box for the courier and was told repeatedly that it hadn't been done. Useless.
Bike ended up being all scratched once arrived, wasn’t massively surprised.
Rude and gave false assessment of bike
Made time to bring bike in. Arrived - treated very rudely (as always happens). They said bike needed new everything and was dangerous and would cost £500 to repair and to buy new bike. Took to another shop and whilst there were some things wrong, it was nowhere near the things they said at BikeHouse London. Costs only £150 and they were nice! Bike House did exactly same thing to my partner and to friend. Not worth visiting. They may be busy now and able to treat people badly but when the pandemic is over, customers will remember!
Overpriced and rude!!
Overpriced both times I have been. They have always insisted on changing BB, Headset, full groupset (gears) and brake pads each time. I found the gentlemen I dealt with to be rude. I was told my bike would be ready in 1 week, I then got a call/text to say it was ready after 1 day (which is great) however when I asked if I could collect it as planned the next week as originally stated I was told I had maximum 3 days as a threat. Not a pleasant experience overall.
Lastly: I went to collect my bike and it was soaking wet. I asked why. The answer it was stored outside - not how I expect my £££ bike to be kept!!!
Is there a decent bike shop in Camden?
Bought a single speed bike recently. Chainline not straight and I wanted a mechanic to have a look at it.
Cycle surgery, Evans and Simpson’s cycles all long gone, so I tried this place in Kentish Town, Fortess rd.
Problem was one assistant couldn’t speak English and the other was barely able to. It was plain we were not understanding each other at all.
Apparently, they don’t do headsets. And they didn’t really seem to understand what the problem was, or if they did, it being ‘more-or-less’ right seemed good enough to them.
I sensed my danger. The possibility seemed all too real that, if left with them, I’d be in for a whopping great bill and a bike no better than before. I left with my bike.
This applies to ALL bike shops these days - be very clear about what you are asking them to do. It’s like consulting the Oracle. Or accepting a wish from a genie - you really need to have gone to law school. If you don’t they may replace parts without consulting you (Giant Stores party trick), not tell you they charge £60 an hour (and you can’t have less than the hour), or simply fail to fix the problem you put the bike in for in the first place. Some shops even manage to return the bike with some new problems, especially if you don’t just nod dumbly in blind acceptance of whatever they say. Ask ‘how much?’, and you’ve had it. You simply cannot go on trust.
Why write this review? Well, because very many of you will be looking for a bike shop now there are hardly any left and, based on this brief experience, this isn’t what you are looking for.
