Our superb journey was filled with hiking adventures, vibrant Paro Festival, visits to unique Bhutanese monasteries and dzongs, as well as authentic local cuisine.

Our driver, Kinzang, was skilful, providing us with a safe and smooth journey across the mountainous terrain.

One of the highlights of our trip was attending the Paro Festival, a significant Bhutanese celebration honouring Guru Padmasambhava, who introduced Buddhism to Bhutan. On the final day of the festival, we witnessed the sacred unfurling of the Thongdrel (a giant thangka). We arrived at the monastery as early as 3:30 a.m. It remains as one of our most cherished memories.
