Can't recommend highly enough!!

Everything about this whole experience was great. After I made the appointment I was sent a comprehensive form to fill out about my cat (7 years old) - symptoms. medical history, personal traits, diet and anything else I wanted to add. I was sent a reminder of the appointment a day or two in advance. Following advice on Bettervet's web, I put my cat in the bathroom when the vet arrived. Otherwise it would have been impossible, even for me, to hold her for an exam. The vet & her assistant entered the bathroom without me and after a few initial meows, it was quiet and they examined her, weighed her and shaved a small patch on her back where she had irritation. When done, they left some spray antibiotic to apply for a week. Because of the questionnaire, they knew that I couldn't get her to take pills.

I only wish there had been vets who made house calls starting a long time ago. Would look forward to recommending them!!

Great Option For Care at Home

This type of service is great. I've never used a mobile vet before, but I could not get my injured dog in the car due to his knee. The vet came to the house and was able to verify the injury and prescribe meds on the spot. My dog showed improvement within 2 days. I'm very grateful for the option to have my dog cared for in the comfort of our home.

Prompt pleasant service at a good price…

Prompt pleasant service at a good price and always satisfied with the service I get through BetterVet. Excellent option for those who don’t want to go away from the home and they’ve always met my nails and my dog is smiling all the time.

Quite Pleased...

This was my family's first experience with BetterVet -
Pittsburgh. We were pleased with the genuine care and concern for our 14 year old cat's wellbeing. Our questions were answered. Prompt follow-up and steps toward improved health were clearly outlined.

Profits more than people and pets

DO NOT FALL FOR THE WELLNESS PLAN SCAM. This company is absolutely more concerned with profits than people. While they may have some individual vets or care providers who are nice, the company culture is completely disinterested in pet welfare except to the extent they can continue to make money off of you. The corporate vet model has done a real disservice to the industry as a whole. I feel stupid for not having realized what this company is before booking our first appointment with them a few years ago. The first appointment was fine, but it's all been downhill from there. We were trying to keep continuity of care and stick it out with BetterVet, but finally hit the breaking point of no return with their current business model.

Only bother if it is end of life care

Only bother if it is end of life care. They will not cancel the service even when I had to take the cat to a normal vet to get diagnoses of hyperthyroidism. They kept saying it was anxiety.
Now they send emails saying I am

Waste of money! They run tests and don't share the results! Several visits in person, online and with 3 different doctors. Only thing the doctors were willing to do was for anxiety or fleas. My cat had an ear infection, and hyperthyroidism. They left my cat in pain, taking 800+ dollars without caring to fix the problem.

Dr Kamaryn is great!

Dr. Kamaryn to care of my cat Binx's respiratory condition and made him well again. I can't thank her enough for such a stress free visit to the vet. He is not uptight now at all, and didn't even hide under the bed. It's like he didn't have a vet visit at all!

The vet and tech and helper themselves were great. The only reason it’s not five stars is because it was a slight miscommunication and disconnect on the billing with the insurance.

First time client

First time client, Cameron and Dr. Tran were friendly, nail trim was a bit overpriced for back claws only! My cat experienced some discomfort overnight which kept me up all night, his paws were sore from nail trim and some bleeding. Overall a good visit.

Vets who truly care

Vets who truly care, knowledgeable and take time to explain everything. I had a pleasure meeting doctor Kuppek and her assistant and was blown away by their professionalism and how they handle their cats patients, as well keeping in touch with labs updates.
Reaching out to BetterVet customer support with some extra questions was pretty easy as well.
So far I have had a great experience and glad that I found a mobile healthcare provider for my cats.
