First of all, let's call out the elephant in the room. That goes by the now infamous name COVID-19. Like every industry imaginable, the gym and fitness equipment one has been overwhelmed by both demand and supply/operational challenges. So naturally, some customers may have experienced a delay in getting hold of the equipment they so desperately desire with all gyms closed. Including myself. However, my delivery expectations were set early on, and I have received prompt and direct communication from a gentleman named Richard (presumably the owner), who has kept me up-to-date and reassured throughout the process. To ensure as best a customer experience as possible, Richard even sourced upgraded equipment for me in place of the equipment I originally ordered, which was less readily available. All round, Best Gym Equipment have clearly gone above and beyond what can realistically be expected of any company, big or small, in the unprecedented challenged presented within the current climate. Thank you.

Although this company have clearly been struggling amid the Coronavirus pandemic they have been very pleasant to communicate with. My order was eventually fulfilled (What company isn’t currently struggling with postage delays!) and a refund given for some missing parts. The phone operators where incredibly genuine and transparent about their current difficulties and have made my experience with this company a pleasure.

I was very content with the service provided by this company. I ordered an expensive peice of equipment from them just before lockdown began.
When there was a delay due to the lockdown situation, then contacted me by email and phone to ask what I would like to do, have a full refund, an alternative with shorter delivery or wait for my original order. I chose to wait for original order.
A couple of weeks later I changed my mind, asked for a full refund which I received. Throughout this process all interactions were polite and thoughtful.

These guys are awesome! Amidst all the chaos caused by COVID-19 and delays from suppliers etc they still managed to deliver my kit and keep my body ticking over at home! Great customer service, followed up very quickly to provide an alternative product for part of my order that was out of stock across the UK. Very clear communication throughout and my order arrived earlier than expected! Thanks guys, have recommended you to a number of other folks looking to get kitted up.

Excellent service and perseverance in getting us exactly what we needed/wanted in the current C-19 circumstances.

I was initially disappointed not to hear back more quickly from Darren and his team, until I realised their replies were going to spam. Clearly operating under significant extra demand for home fitness equipment, we now have exactly the treadmill we wanted delivered and up and running - well done chaps!

A few days before Bestgymequipment put a lock on their website due the high demand for fitness equipment I ordered a GHD from the brand Exigo.

However, unfortunately for me the Exigo is a tailormade product which is manufactured after an order is placed and Exigo closed it's doors shortly after my order due to the Corona measures put in place.

But luckily for me Bestgymequipment did not cancel my order or put it on hold, but they personally called me to explain the situation, suggested some alternatives GHD's (such as the one from Jordan) and offered me the choise to swap the ghd, to cancel my order or to put it on hold.

I choose the first option an luckily they could process my order just in time before Jordan announced that they would close their doors and go in a 'hibernation'.

Therefore, I want to thank Bestgymequipment with 5 stars for their proactive behavior, thinking along with me, their excellent services and clear communication eventhough their were some challenges out of their control (such as suppliers closing their doors, extreme high demand in fitness equipment, et cetera).

I’ve been reading some of the negative reviews below where people are complaining that things took too long - but I don’t think they’ve borne in mind the current worldwide situation in giving their reviews, sometimes we need a little patience.

In terms of my own order - when I realised a lockdown was imminent - and knowing my gym would close - I began searching for a suitable treadmill across a number of different websites.

I narrowed down my choice to the ‘Sole fitness f65’ which was showing as in stock on the ‘best gym equipment’ website - added it to my basket - checked out - and then got my confirmation email. This was the day before Boris announced that gyms would close. When this did happen - many people who used gyms suddenly started to look for exercise equipment for their homes - which resulted in a HUGE increase in demand from online suppliers - and realistically they quickly became overwhelmed.

Best gym equipment put a lock on their website to prevent new orders being taken as they had a huge influx of orders (including mine) that needed processing first.

Two days following my order I received an email telling me that due to the current situation orders would take a little longer than usual to be fulfilled - and in the circumstances I completely understood.

I received a phone call after 5 days to tell me that the treadmill i had paid for was sold out at the supplier - but that they would supply me with the next model in the range at the same price for the inconvenience - I of course agreed - and was then informed I would be contacted by the transport company in around 5 further days time to confirm delivery.

As it happened I didn’t get that phone call - but an email dropped to best gym equipment came with a very quick response to inform me that my delivery would come the following day. (Today as I write this review).

I got a phone call this morning from the delivery driver informing me that he was around 30 minutes away, and on arrival we were able to unload the box quite easily - and I’ve spent the last couple of hours assembling the treadmill. It’s now all up and running - and I have the tool I need to keep fit - while ensuring I stay inside as much as possible.

The people at ‘best gym equipment’ have been the most polite I can possibly express with all of their communications, and as much as I’m confident they are going to have a bumper year in terms of sales - I don’t think anything could have prepared them for the rush they’ve had to endure (and are most likely still enduring).

I would certainly recommend them - and will happily use them again in future - to others that are thinking to buy from them - go for it! Any reviews that talk about slow delivery - bear in mind that they probably received hundreds, if not thousands of orders in the space of a few days - I think they’ve done an admirable job of Managing the process through this challenging time - so a big Thank you from me as I get into using my sole fitness f80 - and get back into my exercise routines. Thanks very much to all of you! Keep up the good work.

Great delivery and excellent customer service. Slight delay to COVID 19 but this cannot be helped with exceptional circumstances. Every time i e mailed always came back to me with an honest response. Thanks will definitely order online again.

I received the order to two tranches - the first a day after the expected date of delivery, the remainder three days later. They have provided communications to the extent possible. We are currently in unprecedented circumstances and I was phenomenally impressed that the people at Best Gym Equipment managed to get the order to time me in the time that they have done. Exceptional.

I have placed an order with them a week ago and they have not responded to emails, neither can I reach them on their online chat function or telephone numbers. I have also tried to reach them on their Facebook page by posting on there, but they deleted the post (multiple times). I would avoid this company like the plague. I spent a considerable amount of money on a bench from them and have now lost this money due to a scam seller. Please be wary.

Shocking service! Having been let down the previous week by another equipment supplier, so we move on to Best Gym. Advised of a Friday delivery. Day booked off from work. Waited all day and nothing. Phoned, no answer. Sent text. Get a reply saying i should've received a email from Concept advising their shipment went elsewhere. Checked all mail ( including junk) and guess what? No email.
I phone concept who then advised a Saturday morning delivery. No prizes for guessing the no show.
Concept and Best Gym are 2 incompetent and inept companies whose standards of customer service are nothing short of abysmal.

I bought my 7 year old grandson an air hockey table for Christmas and unfortunately when he opened it on the day it was damaged. I spoke to Secarna who was extremely helpful and tried to arrange a replacement. Unfortunately their supplier was out of stock so Bestgym gave me a full refund. Disappointing that he hasn't got his present as yet but I can now source him another one but top marks to Secarna and Bestgym for excellent customer service!

Lesley, my wife, and I are 100% pleased with the Lifecycle Exercise Bike with Go Console we have chosen after getting good advice from Best Gym. Delivery was on time and the setting-up was done well.
The bike is set up in an upstairs room and is amazingly quiet and free of vibration. It cannot be heard anywhere else in the house.

A little slower than expected but the easy reply system attached to the email kept communication throughout and the delivery was painless. Would reccomend and will use again.

Took to long for delivery and communication was poor

Purchased a WeiderPro Power Rack that fits in the corner of the room. Plenty of ceiling height for pull-ups. Also purchased the UB60 utilty bench.
The order was shipped to me. Took a couple of weeks, but worth the wait. Delivery arrived on time and items were in order and well-packaged.
I have the perfect home gym set up now.
