Avoid at all costs. Absolute scammers. Positive reviews are all redirected from their own website. Fabricated. Found some Grey laminate doors on this website. Contacted to inquire about delivery before placing the order. John replied to confirm delivery is 5-7 working days. Order placed on 9th Nov '24. For payments they asked as they are a small business to help them save costs on card transaction and pay via a bank transfer. Paid £1137 in total. Since then no contact. Chased few time. phone is never answered. I sent an email requesting cancellation and refund and I then get a reply on 20th Nov '24 that I will be contacted by a delivery company in 1-2 days and order will be delivered on 27th Nov '24. Since then no contact. Have chased 3 times. I will now be reporting this to relevant authorities, my bank and filing court claim. Absolute disgrace. Don't fall in trap to save few quid's on competitive prices they offer. Company issuing invoice is registered under company number 09076738. John Paul Rowe (Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE). He is an active director of 3 companies.

Update 8/12/24: Since writing this 2 weeks ago they have been making repeated promises. Unfortunately no refunds have been issued and will be going to small claims court.

Ordered some Doors and Handles through them for nearly £2000 on 8th May 2024 (6months ago!!!) The handles that arrived were not suitable for the doors because they require slim handles. Having been promised by John that he will refund me, I bought suitable handles locally because the joiner was booked in. Joiner was shocked that they didn't know they take slim handles. These handles were sent back and John has confirmed they have recieved the credit from supplier. The money has not been sent to me and John now claims he doesn't work for this company and that I should email. After reading another negative review it seems a John is listed as the director on Comapnies House.

Despite several emails they are not responsive. I have sent them the final notice and will now have to take this to small claims court if they don't respond.

Do not use this company total scammers! Ordered a door which never came, you cannot get hold of anyone by phone they eventually answer an email with a fabricated update on delivery. Eventually contacted Crystal doors direct and they said they didn’t deal with this company. If you look at positive reviews they are all redirected.

Ordered doors in August costing £1900.00 and no sign of them nor any correspondence from John. He confirmed that the doors were on their way on the 15th of November but they didn't turn up. Now John will not respond to any correspondence. This must be a scam company he has 2 other companies with exactly the same negative reviews. Stay away and go to a builders merchants where you will have peace of mind.

I ordered a wardrobe 18/10/2024 and it said it had a 3-4 week lead time. I have contacted the company on multiple occasions and think I have had one response. That was to tell me someone would be working on it all afternoon and would update me later that day. Surprise, surprise I heard nothing from them. I have asked for a refund but still radio silence so I have raised a complaint with Paypal. If I still hear nothing I will go via the chargeback route like so many others have had to do. This is the worst customer (lack of) service I have ever experienced, the phone goes to voicemail right away, the (live)chat service isn't live at all, just another way of sending an email they won't respond to. This has been such a stressful experience and if my review saves even one person going through what I have been through, it will be worth it.
PLEASE SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED CASH ELSEWHERE!!

Surprise, surprise... They responded to my negative feedback and said they would call me on Friday, guess what no call!! Their excuse for no contact was that their server went down... I guess it has gone down again now as I have since cancelled the order but yet again they are not responding to my emails or calls. I have yet to receive the credit from them.

As others have said, you can place an order but there's no comms from the company and no way of contacting them. The phone number is an answer phone and no response to 'chat' (which is just system email) or email. No idea if my order will ever arrive so will try chargeback.

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced!

Ordered a mirror and the website said delivery 7-14 days

Chased to check when I’d receive the mirror. Tried emailing and using their chat function as they never answer the phone. Several days passed and no reply. Complained about lack of response and received an email advising they would check with the delivery company and let me know later on that day. No update.

Contacted them daily for an update and finally received another email asking if I had received their response. Replied to say I hadn’t.

Finally gave up and contacted my credit card company to get my money back for the mirror they never sent me.

PayPal have claimed the case to my favour which means all the telephone calls this week from John at Best at Doors and all the other names they go under promising they were getting delivered this week was just another lie. He apologised for me having to open a case. It’s all just rubbish. If you decide to order from this company make sure you use PayPal or a credit card and the minute it doesn’t arrive for the first time put in a case with paypal or credit card company for a refund because it more than likely your just not going to get them and they will string you along. Sad really
I hate leaving bad reviews but these are all thoroughly deserved. Don’t risk your hard earned cash.

Ordered doors first week in October.
Just under £900.
Over 10 emails chasing and leaving a poor review and getting PayPal involved forget called in Thursday apologies were offered and promised that I would get my shipping details by Friday.
Emailed again yesterday still no reply.
Do not give this company your hard earned money. Total stressful which is not needed.
We are a small family friend also and these give us small business a bad name.
Not holding my breath in getting the doors but I will be leaving reviews every where I can as it’s not fair that anyone having to go through this.

Do Not Buy from this company

Took money for wardrobe on 16h October. Over one month later nothing received. No reply to calls as phone is no longer answered. Do not reply to online chat which is just a message service - not chat. Do not respond to emails. Asked for refund but will now go for Chargeback. Will be reporting to trading standards. Buy from elsewhere you have been warned.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are unprofessional, do not communicate with you once your order has been placed and they have taken your money and do not deliver. I had to follow the credit card chargeback process to get my money back.

Bestatdoors is associated with three GOV.UK registered companies, JW HARDWARE LTD, SETHCODOORSTORE LIMITED and SETHCOHOMESTORES.CO.UK LTD. All have the same director and registered at the same address.

I have left some pretty harsh reviews on this company over the last few months due to poor communication and a genuine concern that I was being scammed.
Over the past week or so, it seems like the company have flipped a switch and realized that they have an actual job to do. The issue has now been resolved.

Not sure if the company was just going through a bad patch when I placed the order a few months back but over the last two weeks Jasmine has provided me with regular updates on the status of my order. If this was implemented at the start I would be reviewing this a 5 star as the product seems quality.(not hung the bi-fold doors yet).

I ordered a door via the website costing over £500. I received none of the usual updates on the door such as when it was dispatched or being delivered etc. The door did not arrive despite a 15 day lead time. Trying to contact this company is a task, they sporadically respond via email to tell you 'the server is down' they don't answer the chat bot on the website and the telephone number tells you to email and you can leave a msg and nobody ever calls you back.
I asked for a refund and no reply. Luckily the bank has helped me to get my money back
If you don't want any hassle, filling in bank dispute forms and the possibility of losing your money then please DO NOT USE - terrible company!!

An appalling, deceitful company!

My experience with them has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. They’re dishonest and operate with zero integrity.

If you’re considering doing business with them, think again. Five months after payment, I had neither received the item nor a refund.

Thankfully, my bank was able to step in, and I received my money back after filing a chargeback.

Avoid this company at all costs. If you’re already caught in their web, contact your bank and initiate a chargeback to get your money back from these scammers.

If I could give Bestatdoors zero stars, I would. I ordered a door from them on September 6, 2024, and after nearly two months of waiting and countless emails, I have yet to receive either the door or a refund.

Despite multiple assurances that my order would be cancelled and refunded (as they confirmed on October 19 after I’d had enough of waiting and chasing for updates), I’ve received no further communication from them since. They’ve completely ignored my last four emails, leaving me no choice but to contact my bank. The customer service here is abysmal, with delayed responses and constant excuses. Their lack of accountability is astounding, and it’s clear they have no respect for their customers' time or money.

If you value your sanity and your wallet, save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

Company have had my money since August! STILL no delivery (or update)! Only wish I had read these awful reviews sooner...

Love how you leave a bad review and then you Finally have a reply. We have received NO emails from you stating the door is coming. You have provided us with a shocking service: took our money months ago. Appalling.

No company can be this useless without an ulterior motive.Tried to have my last review taken off trustpilot,that didn't work.The only time you can get a response is when you leave a terrible review.Whatever comments they make on here in my opinion are all lies.
They never follow up on their comments, they keep your money and completely ignore any communication.

You said you would send me an email following my last review, you have’t, you said you have tried to arrange delivery twice you haven’t! I want a refund it’s been 3 months and you have taken my money and not delivered or even contacted me. I’ve sent many emails and called and I get no reply.

Ordered doors and after a week they advised they had cancelled the order - refund never arrived and eventually had to make a claim via the credit card company. Stopped answering my emails - very disappointing and best part of £500 out of pocket at this time

Indian Hub Coastal range of furniture. Excellent communication throughout, goods as advertised so good in fact that I have placed another order for a large piece of furniture of the range which was price matched and some I am sure I will receive the same standard of service so I am a happy customer and would recommend this company
