REFUSED AN EXCHANGE
I ordered a large suitcase and a carry on suitcse, not realizing that there are 2 carry on sizes. One is for a weekend trips and the other for longer travels.
The small carry on is extremely small and I will never be able to use it. I have sent 2 texts, spoke to customer service trying to exchange it for the larger carry on, even offered to pay the return shipping. I have NEVER USED THE SUITCASE AND I SENT PICTURES TO THE COMPANY and they denied the return because I didn't have the original tag they were looking for. I gave them my order #, the bill was paid by my credit card company and they refused the offer to exchange it.
Their customer service is not flexible even though my daughter in law, our same last name, has purchased many sets of luggage for each member of our family and for her parents, spending thousands of dollars. I don't think this is good customer service and I hope others that want to purchase luggage reads my review before they consider buying from BEIS LUGGAGE
Warranty useless; refuses to acknowledge design flaw
Purchased sport pack. Recent redesign, replacing standard buckle release with a hook and loop does not function; the loop is not of significant diameter to move over the j-hook. Twice received arrogant response that design is intentional for a "tight fit". It is not merely a tight fit, it is nonfunctional, period.
Company refuses to acknowledge that loop is quite obviously a few millimeters too narrow. Sent photos comparing my pack to website photo; obvious difference in loop size. Reviews on other websites confirm my experience.
The only way this pack works is to slide over one's head and tighten/loosen the strap every time its taken on or off. Not how a waist pack should function. Never again with Beis.
Carry On My Wayward One
Bought the carry-on and a few accessories for a business trip. Everything was cute, but craftsmanship is cheap. The telescopic handle of the carry-on broke at the airport and had to be checked.
Reached out to customer service. Instead of being eager to fix it, they asked for a video “for product development”. I have no problem sharing proof, just frame it accurately. You know your telescopic handles break, it’s your top complaint. Hopefully customer service is better than the quality.
Great quality and fast delivery in my experience
Luckily I didn’t have a reason to deal with customer service, so my comments are based on quality, ordering and delivery.
I ordered the commuter backpack and an array of accessory bags like the mesh pouches, cosmetic and tech bags.
I actually am very pleased with the quality. This backpack is very sturdy, the zippers feel heavy and smooth, and this particular backpack is weather resistant nylon, which just kept my laptop and iPad completely dry in a downpour. This particular backpack feels astoundingly light on my back. If I pick it up by the handle it’s heavy in my hands but magically in my back it feels 1/3 of the weight. For the accessory bags, they are made of thick materials. The cosmetic bag is a sort of waterproof material too, thick and a securely closing zipper. The mesh bags are super surprising- they feel very strong. I’m not scared of them ripping if they get caught on something. The tech bag is nice as expected, more of canvas material, I’d guess not quite as durable as the other items but still great. I got a slim card holder and the passport holder, but very thick material and straps. My only nitpick feedback would be to see a couple more small pockets in the backpack, but that’s a personal preference and doesn’t affect my opinion on quality.
Delivery was fast, tracking was accurate. Things weren’t packed in a high end box, and rather in a shipping bag. While it’s not as luxurious for an opening experience, I’m glad it was in a bag because it was raining when it was delivered.
Ordering online was easy, and I was able to find discount codes for 20% off which was a huge help.
I’ve hunted for and ordered many backpacks and work bags in my lifetime- this met my expectations and in my opinion, is decently priced. I just ordered a different bag from another company at a higher price point and sat at half the quality by my judgement.
If I experience any issues in the future with quality or service I’ll come back and update.

I ordered a product on sale and went to return it and learned it was not returnable....even though it was still offered at full price on the site. I questioned their customer service stating nowhere did it say it was not returnable and this is what I received...note they let me know it was not returnable AFTER I purchased the item!!!

Beis travel
Beis travel. This is supposed to be a high quality luggage line, and is priced that way. I intended to build my luggage set with them. I bought the carry on suitcase last year and was satisfied enough to recently purchase the weekend backpack to match. The colors of the two pieces are completely different. To have such color variations in different pieces within the same set is completely unacceptable. I tried to return or exchange the backpack and was told that because I bought it during a sale that it was not available for return or exchange and just said they were sorry. I now have 2 pieces of luggage that don't match and Paid over $400 for them. They did not offer options to make the customer satisfied and that is also completely unacceptable. Do not buy from this company. There are plenty of high end luggage companies to choose from, and I bet the colors in their luggage "sets" actually match. Don't and I repeat DON'T buy from this company.
Terrible company for customer service
I'm totally upset with a company that I recently started doing business with. Beis travel. They sell luggage. I've purchased quite a bit of it over the last few months. I referred friends and family to them. Enough purchases so that I am a VIP and have earned a LOT of points. However, today was the last straw. I like their luggage, but their business tactics are terrible. They have encouraged me to cash in my points on something from their inventory on numerous occasions. However, every time I try to do that, there is some excuse why I can't. If there's a sale going on, I can't use my points. I even waited until this latest sale was over and tried. That's when I found out that I have to purchase $75 of non-sale items along with redeeming my points. WHAT!?! Besides, the points expire after 6 months if you don't purchase something else. I've already lost 800 points because of that. Then today, I found out that the luggage that I bought as a gift and tried to cancel less than 24 hrs after purchase wasn't cancelled because it wasn't within AN HOUR OF THE PURCHASE. I was trying to cancel it because it was a duplicate of what my daughter-in-law had purchased. On top of that, I can't return it because of the "fine print" which says that it is a"Final sale".

I honestly doubt that they honor their warranty either, but I sincerely hope I don't have to find out.
Refund never received, still waiting
The products are actually well-made and high quality, the issue is the customer service.
I had ordered 2 products from the US store and had to return them, but I never received a refund despite receiving a confirmation email that the items were received in their warehouse.
Several weeks later I checked in and was told it was an issue with their payment processor, but I wish I had listened to other negative reviews here about refunds!
If I hadn't reached out there is a 0% chance I would have received the refund (which I still haven't). I then started a claim with Paypal and was then informed by Beis customer service that they couldn't process my refund directly because of this open claim and that it could take up to 75 days.
I am still waiting for my refund and I placed the initial order almost 2 months ago. I would give 1 star for this experience, but I gave 2 because I actually do like the product I ended up ordering from the European store.

I purchased two Christmas gifts and returned one immediately. Beis confirmed receipt of the item at their warehouse on January 6th. It is now February 10th, and despite the return being processed over a month ago, they refuse to issue my refund.
Their excuse? A "technical issue" with PayPal. It’s funny how their PayPal integration worked perfectly when they were taking my money, yet it’s suddenly "broken" now that they owe it back.
I have reached out multiple times and even offered to accept a check or an alternative payment method just to resolve the issue. They flat-out refused. Their customer service and finance teams are hiding behind canned scripts rather than actually solving the problem.
Bottom line: Beis has my returned merchandise AND my money. At this point, it’s not just poor service—it’s theft. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. I will never buy from them again.

Poor quality - avoid

Single use on a trip. Hole in it. Their response... "normal wear and tear that is to be expected from use".
So they are admitting that their product is badly manufactured, has inadequate materials for what they are claiming or was faulty but as it was used then there is no quality guarantees.
Disappointing experience for a high-end brand
I’m genuinely disappointed. I’ve always considered BÉIS a high-end brand, but my recent experience suggests otherwise. I’ve been unable to process a return because my order has been stuck as “on its way,” for over a week, and despite multiple attempts to get help, I’ve only received repeated generic responses with no resolution.
For a brand positioned at this level, this kind of dysfunction in customer support is surprising and erodes trust.
Don't buy from them
Don't buy from them. Their customer service is crap. I bought a $300+ suitcase from them. Their shipper never delivered it and they won't help me. Literally ghosted me. No refund and no replacement. I'm going to dispute the charge. But these people are thieves.
They also don't stand by their products. They sold me a suitcase with a defective lock and refused to replace it. Buyer beware. Find a company that cares about keeping customers

The product has significant design flaws, including excessive weight and poorly functioning zippers. Furthermore, the customer service experience was the poorest I have encountered. The return process is particularly onerous, requiring customers to submit comprehensive photographs of the item prior to repackaging. I advise others to consider alternative brands.
Import taxes not advised until checkout.
I purchased the mini weekender a few years ago which I am happy with. I deceived to purchase the medium check in roller from Beis UK site and added to the basket. I reviewed the costs and it qualified for free shipping. I used the express purchase via Apple Pay and after making payment I noticed the prices changed on the Apple Pay pop up window confirming payment made. I checked the email confirmation and I noted that a “duties” fee was added. Upon investigation this is an import tax. So whilst they refer to themselves as Beis UK in the order confirmation they are not registered in the UK hence adding the import tax. This is hidden in the T&Cs that they will add import taxes at checkout. I cancelled my order as it just felt very underhand. For their UK site they should show the prices with all taxes included so it’s more transparent for customers. I know this is how they advertise in the US about you’re selling in the UK and should seek to mirror the procedures normally followed for the market you’re selling.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Don't use them. You can can get great travel pieces at plenty of other places that take care of their customers. I simply tried to exchange a piece that was a present for a different color and they refused to honor the sale price. Somehow the system canceled my exchange so they took it as a return. I simply said "no I just want an exchange so please send me the same item in a different color". They refused even though their system glitched and gave me a store credit for half of what I had to pay for the same item. So had to pay WAY more for the same piece. Will never shop here again!
Disappointing Durability – Vegan Leather Peeling After Minimal Use
I purchased the BÉIS Weekender bag a few years ago and have used it only about 9 times for occasional trips. Despite light use, the vegan leather trim has completely peeled away in multiple areas, exposing the underlying lining and making the bag look worn out and unpresentable.
This level of deterioration is unacceptable for a product marketed as high-quality travel gear. The bag’s overall durability is poor, and it fails to hold up even under normal, infrequent conditions.
Additionally, BÉIS does not appear to offer any warranty, repair, or replacement service for this issue on non-luggage items like the Weekender (their limited lifetime warranty applies only to hard-shell luggage). I reached out but received no meaningful resolution.
I cannot recommend this bag to anyone expecting long-term reliability. Save your money and look for alternatives with better material quality and customer support.
