Beautiful clothes, fast shipping

I couldn’t even find words on how much I adore the items I received from Beginning Boutique. I started my first order only to try if quality was good. I’m on my 3rd order now and I got some for my daughter too lol she was amazed too with the dresses. Thanks so much Beginning Boutique ❤️

I never received my order and then they…

I never received my order and then they said I was a liar and wouldn’t provide me with a refund or the items I ordered. Very annoyed and disappointed. Do not order.

Bad quality. Terrible fees.

I ordered a dress. The shipping said it would take 5-10 business days to arrive. It arrived after the time it said it would. When I opened it, the quality is no where near expected for a 93 dollar dress. I went to return it and the amount that I would get back is only $68. This seems kind of ridiculous amount to be taken out especially when the quality is not adequate. I will not be ordering from here again.

Excellent customer service, my daughter ordered the wrong size. I emailed the Beginning Boutique team and they were very responsive and updated the order no questions asked! Michelle in particular was lovely to deal with. Great website and lovely items. Thanks

Trisha at Beginning Boutique is a star

Trisha at Beginning Boutique was amazing. Prompt, respectful, clear and concise with her communication. she actively made sure I was informed of any updates on the item I was questioning about not only on the day of the enquiry, but days after, providing a human touch to customer service that can often feel robotic and scripted. A genuinely committed CSR.

Quality wasn’t up to expectation

Only giving 2 stars because the quality of the items I had bought were not it. I returned my items within an hour of receiving them but on a positive note, the customer service was very nice and helpful. I love the return feature that allows you to buy and print the return slip at home so it was super easy and convenient :)

My Favourite Store

Im always so impressed with this store. I have ordered so much from them and have never been let me down. Their sales are incredible and just now I ordered the 3 for $99 and it came in two days….

Their clothes are always beautiful, tote bags and even the packaging. I know when I shop from this store I will always get quality products.

Best customer service I have ever received!!!!

I have never received such incredible customer service in my entire life!!!! I spoke on the phone with the most lovely woman ever( Chantal I think?), who helped fixed my issue in a matter of minutes. She was so patient and compassionate for my issue, and provided a solution that I was so happy about. Her kindness and customer service was genuinely outstanding, and if anyone at Beginning Boutique is reading this, please know that she is a gem!!! This experience was so satisfying, and I’m so thankful for her amazing work. Thanks again, this experience has prompted me to always shop here! 🩷

I absolutely LOVE beginning Boutique…

I absolutely LOVE beginning Boutique the customer service here is UNMATCHED. I had an issue with my order& they way that the lovely Michelle delt with it has made me a life long customer. Michelle fixed it efficiently with no stress I have never loved a clothing brand more. The quality of the dress we perfect& got delivered in 1 day!

TERRIBLE RETURNS POLICY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

I had a terrible experience ordering from Beggining Boutique and want to warn others. Their returns policy is ridiculous and completely unreasonable. Please read it carefully before purchasing!! When speaking to their customer service team regarding their returns policy, they were condescending and rude. Customer service is everything for brand reputation and consumer loyalty and these guys have it all wrong! If they only met me half way with my enquiry and made me feel like a valued customer, I would have not felt the need to deter family and friends and spread my negative experience resulting in a huge loss of potential customers for them!
If you are reading this Beggining Boutique, please do yourself a favour and review your returns policy to be more realistic and achievable for your customers!! Some customer service training wouldn’t go astray either.

Sizes run HUGE, email response snarky

The dress sizes are massive and the email response I received after asking for an exchange was really condescending for no reason. I’m a size 12 usually, and a size 10 mini dress I ordered (hoping for a tighter fit) was like a parachute on me. It was so big it was almost funny, but then I had to spend $60 getting it tailored and nothing was really that funny anymore. I understand if you can’t provide exchanges on outlet products, even if they are unfit for purpose, but what I don’t expect is to be belittled and treated as stupid for daring to ask. Please avoid, they will make you sorry for shopping there.

I want you to know that you absolutely can come to us with questions/ concerns, and if you feel like you have not reached the solution you are after, or the point has been missed, then please know that you can request to escalate the situation further before you seek an alternative route.
We pride ourselves in our customer service so to hear this is quite disheartening, and we will be sure to take this very seriously, and ensure the correct processes and training are put into place so that our team are handling all enquiries in the best possible way - I am truely sorry and we will aim to do better.

Avoid company at all costs!!!

Literally worst experience with their company and customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I purchased clothing from their company to be shipped to London. Easy enough right? One month later- never arrived. No tracking details, no confirmed purchase emails, nothing. I reached out to them to ask and they said don’t worry it’s coming. A week later still nothing. I email back saying the link they provided me shows it was returned back to them. They said customs returned it and they tried to contact me. They absolutely did not and when I asked for proof of this, they couldn’t provide that. So they said they’d charge me $83 for a customs fee (which wouldn’t even be applied because it didn’t pass through customs, it was sent back) and $25 to return it back to them. I got charged a return fee as if I received the clothing and decided nope I don’t like them, I’ll return them. But I never even received anything!! So essentially they want to deduct $108 from my refunded amount when they receive the clothing, for a package I never received after waiting over a month for it. They said when you purchase from our company it’s in our terms and conditions. They also stated once the clothing leaves their warehouse, they’re not responsible. So I guess if your products get lost on the way to you- good luck guys cause Beginning Boutique isn’t responsible for your purchase!

I mean…. come on what in the world.

Horrendous Quality

Purchased 6 items (including this item) because they had a sale going (3 items for $99) and now I understand why they were trying to get rid of everything. The quality on almost every item I purchased was extremely thin, cheap and not worth the money at all. Of course the returns policy is that all sales are final and I understand why now, my fault for not checking the policy beforehand. Just want everyone to know how poorly made their items are. Seams breaking, threads loose, thin material that would probably fall apart in the washing machine, items poorly fitted to the body, loose/tight in strange areas, need I go on? The only nice thing I can say was shipping was quite fast. But even though I purchased almost $200 in items I still had to pay for express. Lame.

I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the items you received.
It is never our intention for you to be displeased with the products that have been delivered, and we try to provide as much information regarding the garments within the product description, and by adding multiple photos and videos to site.
As for the faulty item, I am really sorry about this and can see that we have requested photos so this can be resolved and flagged with our team. We always thoroughly QC all garments, however some loose threads may be missed due to human error.
In regards to the promotion, we will always clearly state the terms and conditions of the sale in multiple locations and it is the customers responsibility to ensure that this has been read and understood prior to purchase.

In future if there is anything that you require clarification on, or would like more information/images then our customer care team is available 24 hours Monday - Friday so please ensure you are reaching out to us if you aren't 100% sure on the conditions or need more details regarding a garment and can't find the details on the website.
I can see that we are in contact via email, and will work out a suitable solution to this issue.

Complex refund process

Update: I phoned BB's Australian number and was told that my emails were going to spam. I was told that I did not make a refund request but the amount was still refunded. It makes no sense why you have to email to request a refund ahead of time, seems unnecessarily complex.

I returned almost $500.00 worth of clothes from Beginning Boutique but despite requesting a refund, the balance was loaded onto a gift card. I have tried contacting Beginning Boutique to reverse this balance and refund the amount to my method of payment, but have not had any response from Beginning Boutique for 3 days. I followed all of BB's policies, including the items being in resalable condition and returning the items within the specified timeframe, but I have had NO CONTACT from BB to process this return as a refund. This is in breach of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, where businesses must refund you in the same method of payment that you used to pay for the order when you make a return. I will be willing to change this review if this is resolved within 48 hours.

Each store has their own processes and policies put into place and it is the customers responsibility to ensure that these are read, understood and followed.

At no point have we denied you a refund, our policy simply states the following -
"Refunds are offered on all orders received back to us within 14 days of your delivery date and must be requested via Email, otherwise our default resolution of store credit (gift card) will be issued."

I can confirm that a refund has been processed now back to your original payment as your return did meet the terms of our policy.
