Scam avoid like the plague.....
Ordered an item - no show on item - no contact - someone needs to take this site down.
Still trying to contact these robbing clowns . Took the money and vanished. Anyone know the contact numbers ?
Ordered a divan bed (base, mattress and headboard) from this Company. Great price, communication good.
Delivery day came, great communication, gave me a two hour slot, arrived when they said.............but without a mattress and two headboards rather than one.
Rang customer service - couldn't have cared less. Told them to take the items away and ordered instead from MattressMan, who arrived the following day with the correct items.
Even the delivery men said they always had problems with this Company. Take my advice and don't bother using them. Useless.
Ordered a bed for my daughter as she was away and I wanted to re do her room, ordered next day delivery but the drop down list only let me order a chosen day which was the Thurs not the Mon which would have been next day - ordered head board too - got text night before saying ordered delayed so not to wait in - but head board arrived anyway .... Phoned to
Ask about bed - told it's not in stock so they agreed to send a better bed at same price which was in stock - phoned today to find out where that one is and there's no record of my changing order !!! 9'days later - still no bed !!! Still don't know when the bed will arrive !! My daughter is back soon and will have a lovely room all painted and new head board but will have to sleep on the floor after 2 weeks of being away - she'll come home to the floor :0/ gutted is not the word !
I purchased a bed and headboard from this company a couple of months ago. The bed arrived on the Saturday morning with no headboard. No apologies, just that it was on its way.
Could I get a reply from this place on the phone? No chance. They play music and tell you there is a queue. There isn't as there isn't anybody answering calls!!! 49 mins and I gave up. No reply to emails and the live chat is BS.
I did eventfully get my headboard and the flimsy wood you get to attach it but no way on this earth would I buy again as the customer service doesn't exist. I really wis I hadn't bothered. The only good thing is they didn't use DX to deliver it or I would never have received it ! Stay away from this place.
I ordered a bedframe & mattress from this company had a look at some of the reviews and thought they can't be that bad!!!! Received the bedframe on the day requested but no mattress. Phoned to be told it was still on its way. Next day phoned courier too be told it was damaged. Phoned Bedstore to be told I would get replacement. No replacement after over 10 phone calls and as many emails with promises the replacement was on its way. I cancelled after 2 weeks of waiting. Awful customer service. Let's see how long till I get my refund!!
Absolutely disgusted with this company. My disabled 20 year old son was moving into his first house and we made the error of ordering a bed & mattress from Bedstore. Despite ordering the bed & paying in full 6 weeks before delivery date, & despite phoning 2 days before delivery date to make sure all ok, they let us down horrendously. On the day of delivery we were at the house at 7am awaiting delivery - at 10am we received a short text message saying they wouldn't be delivering that day but no alternative date. We phoned up, took over half an hour to get through & we had the promise that someone would call us back by 2pm (or failing that, absolutely promised pm) - surprise surprise, no call back. My disabled sone had to sleep in a Travelodge on the first night of his new home. Phoned next day, another half hour to get through, and when I did I tried to explain & the Bedstore employee hung up on me. Needless to say we went out and bought a bed from a local company who delivered a bed and mattress within 1 hour. I asked for compensation - they said they would look into and never called me back. All the reviews on this website are accurate - this company is an absolute nightmare & I would avoid them like the plague. I wish I had read the reviews on here before I placed trust in them. They are incapable of keeping promises and have no repeat for the customer. Thanks Bedstore for ruining my disabled sons move to his first house! You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves.
Bedworld is apparently part of worldstores, as is bedroomworld. They have different phone numbers, which is a joke, because they all go through to exactly the same menu, awful 'music' and a recorded voice which assures you every 20 seconds that your call is important, they won't keep you waiting long, your call will be answered soon.....except it isn't. I phoned twice, and waited for 10 minutes each time before giving up. I had placed an order with Bedworld (which incidentally has exactly the same products as Worldstores, but offers 'free delivery', whereas Worldstores was going to charge £24.99 for exactly the same items, at the same price). I was supposed to be offered a delivery day, but wasn't. I emailed Bedworld using the link in their confirmation email, but the email came back - invalid email address! So I emailed worldstores, to ask for confirmation that my order will be delivered 'next working day' which according to their delivery schedule is Monday. No reply, but I've just had an email informing me that my order will be delivered on Tuesday. As it was ordered Thursday, how is that next day delivery? What a shambolic company. Apparently Bedworld has been 'under new management' since August 2015, well, that's made a big difference hasn't it!
The delivery men left products addressed to someone else then tried to tell me the mattress was wrongly labelled. The men were at best rude. The headboard never arrived. Trying to get my money back took weeks and eventually my stating I was not going to let the matter drop and I was going to court and informing the credit card company eventually got my refund. My advice to you is Worldstores (the parent company) is one to avoid along with Bedstore unless you want to give away your money. Just don't expect to get the goods you actually paid for and expect to fight to get your money back. Don't expect the email customer service to get a response for at least a week and expect to be on the phone waiting in a queue for at least an hour both methods get the response"we will look in to it" which really means in another 7 days you will be trying again to get satisfaction and have to start the process all over again with another customer service agent (who all seem well trained in stalling and fobbing off the customer so they can keep your money and not give you any goods)
I've lost track of how long I've now spent chasing missing boxes. 2 weeks after the original delivery date and (no show) 5 attempts later, I'm properly.......... Annoyed (deserves a harsher word). This can be found under the XDP review.
I understand if XDP are under pressure with the extra citylink deliveries, so maybe, just maybe don't use them for the time being. Maybe explain to your customers about the delays and the reasons behind them. Maybe don't offer "Free next day deliveries" if its impossible. Maybe just keep people informed so we don't have to waste our time hanging around for a phantom delivery..
Communication is key in any business, and it seems your serious lacking.
They'll take your money and no goods will come. Company is a sham and they will not contact you.
I'm expecting a delivery today, been waiting all morning, never got a phone call either yesterday to confirm or today to inform, and their phone lines, as well as the phone lines of XDP, their pretended carrier are hanging up.
I've tried to call 20 times, on both lines, since this morning 8am.
I also sent an email to both of them, and nobody is getting back to me.
This is the most dreadful delivery experience I had. By far.

I ordered a new bed that comes in a set that includes a mattress, duvet and pillows. On the website they offer free standard delivery but I decided to opt for the £30 Saturday delivery as I did not have a bed to sleep on as my old one broke.
Saturday came, I waited in all day and heard nothing. So at 6pm I tried calling and realised that their offices closed at 5pm so I left an email to find out what had happened??
Monday comes, I wait in all day and again nothing so I email Bedstores again and all I get from them is an automated response. I try the courier people they use and again nothing. The only time I get a response is when I make a review about the courier on this website. This is some woman who works for the courier (XDP) and she says the delivery will be made on Tuesday and my £30 delivery money will be refunded by Bedstores.
My bed arrives today (Tuesday) at 11:30am, 2 boxes and a bag with pillows and a duvet in, so great... BUT! where is my mattress?? I contact Bedstores again and get no response.... contact XDP and no response. So I have left a complaint using the complaint form and informed both Bedstores and XDP that if my mattress does not arrive by the end of today I will begin legal action aswell as look into getting my delivery money refunded.
My advice is to avoid any of the WORLDSTORES companies and any company that uses XDP or XDP Express as a courier.
They are quick to take your money but never ever respond to any emails and if you phone them you can wait upto 20 minutes which I just can not do.
They take your order and your money. Received email telling me delivery date and then another one follows days later telling me they do not have stock of item ordered. A full refund is on its way - Or so they say!!!! I ordered and paid for this item in Sept 2011 - It is now Dec 19th 2011 and I have only just rec'd my refund, but only after me chasing them. Costing me god knows how much money in high call charges. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! You've been warned...
