Fantastic Experience

We've recently moved into our first Beal Homes property after part exchanging our previous house. Our experience throughout has been excellent, with only a few small bumps which were resolved without too much fuss.

Laura in the sales office at Kirk Ella was fantastic from the moment we "popped by to see what the process would be". She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, will already be chasing others before you ask, and its always felt like she genuinely cared about us rather than just wanting to make a sale. She also recommended both a mortgage broker and solicitors for the process, which also provided great service and helped make everything as smooth as it could be for a house buy/sell.

Everyone in the design lounge were extremely friendly and helpful, bringing suggestions but also listening to what we wanted to achieve. We bought sold as seen so only made a few small changes but I can imagine that process would be very fun to do from the start!

When it came to part exchange both Jamie and Kaye were great at explaining different parts of the process and solving issues as they arose. This element had some natural issues involved with an old house, but resolutions were timely and we felt well informed throughout.

So far the customer care team have also been exceptional. Snags found during the walkthroughs before and during the move, as well as some during our first few weeks, have already been resolved or scheduled to be resolved. The responses have been quick, and all members who have attended the property have been friendly and helpful even resolving issues on the spot that weren't on their list.

Overall at this stage we couldn't be happier and are looking forward to enjoying our new property for a long time to come!

We had sold our house in France and…

We had sold our house in France and found a house in England. 2 weeks prior to completion the sellers pulled out leaving us homeless as the French system works in reverse in that contracts are signed at the start of the process.
We saw our Beal Home on Rightmove and contacted Claire the amazing sales executive.
Claire understood our circumstances and gave us all the help, and more, we needed to progress our purchase.
We paid the deposit and entered the 15 day cooling off period during which time we had a number of requests and all were answered to our satisfaction.
Christmas then got in the way which slowed down the legal process when everything stopped for 2 weeks.
Claire recommended a solicitor who had done a number of completions on the estate and they too were excellent.
With some pushing from us we completed the purchase of our Beal Home in 3 weeks!
We are really pleased with our new home and the aftercare service is excellent too.

We recently completed a part exchange…

We recently completed a part exchange on our home to move into a new build with Beal Homes, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish.

The part exchange process was incredibly straightforward and removed so much of the stress that normally comes with selling a property. Everything was clearly explained, timelines were well managed, and we always felt informed at every stage. It made what could have been a complicated move feel smooth and well organised.

A special mention has to go to Laura - senior sales executive, who was absolutely brilliant throughout the entire process. She was professional, approachable, and always happy to answer questions or help with anything we needed. Their support, communication and genuine commitment to making the move work for us really stood out and made a huge difference.

Thanks to the team at Beal Homes, moving into our new home has been an exciting and positive experience rather than a stressful one. We would highly recommend Beal Homes to anyone considering a new build, especially if you’re thinking about part exchange.

This is the second home we have bought…

This is the second home we have bought built by Beal Homes. The service we received on both occasions was outstanding from start to finish. Laura was extremely welcoming, had good knowledge of all of the houses and genuinely cared about our experience.

We have found that the finish of Beal houses compared to other builders is second to none and their houses are finished to a very high standard. This meant that it was a no brainer to buy a second Beal home!

The opportunity to part-exchange our home as existing Beal Homes customers was really straight forward and took the stress completely out of moving house. This was a result quick and easy process. Moving to another Beal Home meant that we had no concerns regarding the finish or quality of the house.

Amazing Experience from Start to Finish – 10/10 ⭐

Our experience with Beal Homes has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From the very beginning, the whole process felt professional, well organised, and genuinely customer-focused.

Laura in the Sales Office at Kirk Ella was exceptional throughout our journey. She was always friendly, incredibly helpful, and kept us well informed every step of the way. Our journey to completion was quite a long one, but Laura’s communication, patience, and consistent support made the whole experience smooth and reassuring. She really made us feel valued as customers and was a pleasure to deal with.

The Design Lounge was another highlight of the experience with Beal Homes. With the help of Amy and Kennedy, we were able to design our home exactly how we wanted it. They were both knowledgeable, patient, and very creative in helping us bring our ideas together. The kitchen in particular is something we absolutely love, and their guidance helped us create a space that is both beautiful and practical.

This is actually our fourth Beal home, which really says everything about the quality of homes and service they provide. Over the years we’ve learned what features we love most, and Amy and Kennedy helped us combine all the best elements from our previous homes into this one. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made the whole design process really enjoyable.

Our journey wasn’t always straightforward, and at times there were challenges with the house sale and chain. During those moments we received additional support from other members of the team, and we would especially like to say a huge thank you to Jamie, Kay and Tess. They truly went above and beyond to support us and were often a light during some of the more stressful moments. Their reassurance, help and dedication made a real difference to us.

When the house was finally ready, we arrived very excited for the big reveal with Laura—and it certainly did not disappoint. Laura once again went above and beyond, showing us around and making sure everything was perfect. She made the moment feel really special.

Moving day was the same day, and we were warmly welcomed with a lovely hamper, which was a very thoughtful touch. We also had a visit from Glenn, the Site Manager, who checked everything carefully and made sure everything was exactly as it should be. It was great to see the pride he takes in the homes being built.

The whole experience with Beal Homes felt personal, professional, and incredibly well managed from start to finish.

We would 100% recommend Beal Homes to anyone considering buying a new build. Although we don’t plan on moving again for quite some time—if ever—Beal Homes would absolutely be our number one choice again without hesitation.

A huge thank you to the entire Beal Homes team for making our journey such a positive and memorable experience.

Beal Homes Estate

The sales team were a great team who we dealt with in the process of buying our house. Jayne and Lindsey were brilliant with dealing with us due to being first time buyers. Helped us with any questions we had and were very supportive.

However the customer care team have not been helpful and have done nothing but push us back. We do not get responses in a timely fashion and if we want updates on anything we are the ones chasing despite it’s being “in hand”. We were fortunate enough to find little to no issues with our house when we moved in, despite hearing about issues other resident’s had. However, we recently had an issue where our kitchen flooded. Coincidentally, multiple other houses had the same issue the exact same night. Whilst I am very understanding as to what happened to us all, I do not think that a call from the customer service team, as soon as I notified them what happened, telling me “this is not covered by warranty” is very professional at all. As a person who works in a very customer facing role, you are trained in damage control and how to deal with issues that may arise. Even more so as a housing company where people have spent thousands of pounds for a bespoke house with “guaranteed” standard. Beal homes do not take responsibility for any issues that happen in their builds. There’s only one explanation for why these issues occur, and it’s cheap, bad quality parts used to put the houses up as quickly as possible.

We also advised that a family member recommended us to live on the estate, to which we were advised and have in writing that they would receive a £250 referral bonus. That was Nov 2024 and they still haven’t received it.

In my opinion, the customer after care experience leaves a lot to be desired

This rating is based solely on the aftersales customer service team, which honestly deserves zero stars — but that’s not an option.

Beal Homes presents itself as a 5-star builder, and at first, they certainly appear to be a cut above the rest. The Design Lounge experience feels premium, the sales team were outstanding, and early on we would happily praise Beal for what felt like exceptional service.

However, the aftersales customer service team is the complete opposite. Their priority seems to be protecting Beal’s bottom line — not delivering the level of customer care you would expect from a 5-star builder. Rather than resolving issues, they appear more focused on shifting blame onto the customer at every opportunity. In particular, the approach led by Deborah Thompson (Customer Care Manager) is extremely damaging and could be the reason Beal eventually loses its 5-star status. Our experience has been nothing short of diabolical.

Our very first issue was a broken window in Bedroom 4. We were immediately made to feel as though we had caused the damage. Only after numerous calls and emails did they finally send a contractor, who confirmed there was no impact point and that this can happen in new builds as the structure settles. It was not our fault.

Other issues followed quickly:

A radiator fell off the wall early on — narrowly missing our dog

The patio door wouldn’t open when we moved in

The garage door didn’t work properly

And then came the kitchen floor. It warped, despite the fact we only use a spray mop and have no leaks. It took Beal eight months to investigate — I’ve never known any KPI that allows an eight-month delay. Their contractor blamed “water ingress”, which is simply not credible. The product was clearly not fit for purpose.
Beal offered a very small “gesture of goodwill”, far from what was needed to put things right. We replaced the floor at our own cost, upgrading it to avoid future issues.

On installation day, Beal were contacted about the screed level not being sufficient to raise the floor and avoid gaps. Beal agreed over the phone to address the gaps afterwards and told us to proceed. Now they are denying this and changing their story entirely — again shifting blame away from themselves.

The root cause of this whole situation was inadequate flooring, yet Beal refuses to take responsibility.

Throughout our entire aftersales experience, Beal Homes has been consistent in one thing only: moving the blame. They do not look after their customers, they do not fix issues properly, and they twist the narrative at every turn.

Please be cautious if you choose this builder.

If you read reviews, you'll only see positive reviews of the sales process, the design lounge and initial purchase. I can guarantee all those customers will be back with a 1 star review, driven by the aftesales service.

Had a fantastic experience!

I had a fantastic experience at the Design Lounge. Amy, Tessa, and Kennedy were so friendly and knowledgeable, they were brilliant. The process what seamless and the amount of choice was great without being overwhelming. There was absolutely no pressure to go for the upgrades over the standard options if I didn’t want to, and most importantly I’ve designed my first home to exactly how I’d like it in just a few hours without feeling like I’ve made any compromises anywhere.

Amazing Experience from Start to Finish

Our experience with Beal Holmes was fantastic from start to finish. Esna in the Sales office at Bishops Green was brilliant to deal with - very helpful and informative from start to finish. The Design Lounge was such a great experience with help from Tess, Kennedy and Harriet we designed our house just as we wanted it - we especially love the kitchen which they helped us put together. Once our house was ready we arrived very excited for our big reveal with Tess, and were certainly not disappointed, Tess again was fantastic showing us around and really making us feel looked after. On moving in day we received a lovely hamper and a visit from Danny, Site Manager who made sure everything was as it should be and welcomed us to our new home. 10/10

Kennedy and Amy were excellent and the design lounge. There are so many decisions to make and it can be very overwhelming, but they didn’t rush us, and helped up where we needed it.
They were both fabulous, honest and we are very happy with our choices!

What a truly wonderful and…

What a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience! The design of our house is absolutely stunning, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

The entire team was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make the process enjoyable. They were not only professional but also super friendly, making us feel right at home. It was such a thoughtful touch to be offered drinks and food, which really made the whole experience feel special.

We are so grateful for their expertise and kindness. This was an amazing experience from start to finish, and we'll cherish the memories of creating our dream home with them.
