Banter Cards have been my ‘go too’ for all greetings cards for the last 3 years. Hilarious designs, good quality cards, prompt delivery and as a bit of a bonus a funny AF Instagram page.

I would not rely on this company for a card.

I see there is another review similar to mine.

I ordered a Xmas Card and it was dispatched on the 16 December 2020. It has still not been received by the recipient. We are in February.

My friend does not want a Xmas card months after the event.

I was advised on 29 December 2020 there was a delay with Royal Mail of 3 weeks. Funny how I have received deliveries from Royal Mail with no issues as has my friend.

Just a fob off. Poor service and unreliable.

I think you are missing the point at the first contact made on 29 December 2020 when the card hadn’t arrived why would I want to wait 3 weeks for a friend to receive this. No one wants a late Xmas card.

I agree to disagree I have had no delayed items from Royal Mail over the festive period. I didn’t chase one other company about not meeting their deadline. I do not recall seeing it highlighted that it would be delayed and it did not say in my dispatched email that there could be a delay. So hence this is a fob off as I don’t think you can speak for ‘every company’.

Credit to Kelly her manner was not an issue she was helpful in her tone and manner but the options offered were not helpful I mean it’s £4 just refund it, it’s the principle of the whole thing not the money.

To be fair I didn’t contact you as I had forgot and then I messaged my friend to check had she received and she hadn’t. Obviously the customer care failed as I didn’t see you rushing to contact myself.

I’m sorry you are disappointed by my review I suppose you will understand what disappointment feels like as that’s how I felt having to faff over a Xmas card.

Kelly you seem to your credit a lovely person and have a nice manner via email this is not a personal attack. The options I was given were poor and I disagree it was well documented that the order would be delayed. Had it been I wouldn’t have ordered the item.

Fantastic items, super quick delivery and good pricing too. I also will not hesitate to say that despite only seeing a photo of him, I would trust team member Bill with my life.

I love this company! They are amazing at what they do/make, really good quality and pricing. Always delivered super quick and the personal meassgaes on the envelopes are an extra nice touch! Cannot fault then in any way and I'm so glad they exist!

I’ve ordered twice now and I absolutely love these guys! Personal handwritten note each time. My sense of humour so I feel there’s a bit of me in everything I buy for my family and friends! Quality is amazing, I could not speak any more highly of this company.

These cards are so perfect and suit my sense of humour to a t. They never fail for any occasion. I had a little order problem and it was sorted for me instantly. You can’t buy anything like these cards in the shops. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Very high quality products (I bought a card) the custom messages are fantastic, delivery is quick (mine was less than 5 days) and the packaging feels very personal with little messages here and there. Overall a brilliant place to buy your cards for any occasion! I would highly recommend and will be shopping again. Brilliant, fair play to the team.

Great range of funny products, customer service is amazing. I ordered some custom socks and they are great quality, I'm really impressed with how well the photos have been printed on and will definitely be ordering more!

Misleading and mis-sold.
Although through their own admission they mis-sold the product, they don't want to shift their stance and expect me at my own cost to return the items. Advertising an item in the box which they state was their mistake but they wont honour it. Email transcript below:

Just received the order (thank you). Enquiry regarding the order. Total order value according to your website prices is £46.49.
The order placed was for the bundle worth £51.90. It states that 'all boxes contain one mug' Considering this came in the a flat pack - I've received no mug and I imagine where the short fall in value is. Somewhat disappointing. Can you please rectify?

The mug is only included in the super lush box (the more expensive option) - I have amended the wording on the website. Thank you so much for your feedback on that - I didn't realise it didn't state which box that was for. Previously we only offered 1 box option -when the option for the cheaper box was added the wording wasn't changed.
The Box value was definitely over £50 as I remember packing the box - it excludes any offers (so it's valuing all stock at full price) plus shipping cost.
I'm so sorry you're unhappy with your box, if you'd like to return it please send it to Unit b7 Banter Cards, Hayes road, Sully, cf64 5rz.

From your own admission you are stating that you have mis sold the product by advertising the box with the mug, naturally an honest mistake, but a mistake nonetheless. Regarding the 'offers' currently on the site, again the box doesn't make that clear either. As for the postage, regardless of what I purchase over a certain amount spent on site the postage is free anyway, again it doesn't state that the value of the package includes the postage of the product which if it does as you state in the email again is misleading.
The offer of the return of the product is all well and good, but I hadn't thought about the overall value (as in £) until using one of the cards so that's a non-starter, further and considering it has been mis sold through no fault of my own you are offering a return of the product through my own cost, when as already mentioned it was your mistake and not mine.
I would have thought that you as a company would have just held your hands up and said 'yep, our mistake, sorry, we're sending you out a mug as we had advertised it incorrectly'... No?

The items in the box at full price do come to the amount we stated. Free shipping is only for orders over £25.

Banter cards staff are the dogs danglies! Simply amazing customer service and lush products :)

Discovered through Etsy when I was looking for an amusing card for my anniversary, because who wants serious?

It arrived on time, which was a miracle considering how late I left buying it! It came in an envelope with nice notices to the delivery person as a reminder not to bend. It had an extra piece of card in it to prevent it being bent too, and it seemed to work perfectly! They also wrote their own version of my name on the envelope, and blind fun and flattery is always welcome!

Better quality and service than other places, and the extra detail and fun aspects just make it all the more worthwhile!

Received my choice of card today for Fathers Day. I must say I was disappointed with the quality, I probably could have made the same card. The “do not bend” envelope it arrived in is of better quality.

The card was delivered within great timing. Didn’t take long to come at all. The card looks great and I love how you can find pretty much anything. Absolutely loved the packaging it came in! The delivery costs 10p less than what the card actually cost so I wouldn’t say it was even worth ordering the small cards but other than that.. great service and I would definitely recommend.
