Booked tickets for the event in perthshire in 2025. At last min the event was cancelled with a promise thst it would be scheduled for 2026. We are now months away from the supposed date in 2026 and no mention of it anywhere. The company have changed their name to skyglow festival, the original website has been shut down and skiddle are unable to assist in anyway despite my tickets still being on their website and active.
I have contacted their new named facebook page and emailed several times to ask for my money to be refunded and ive have no reply at all. This is a SCAM! Do not go near this company or its newly named company avoid at all costs. Save your money.
Surely there is a way for people to get money returned to them and this scam shut down to save other people from their hard earned money being taken from them.
Scammer’s that like to steal peoples money!
Have now rebranded to “Sky Glow Music Festival” probably because they never followed through with the rescheduling of the Scotland event they cancelled last year a week before and many people including myself have lost our money! Stealing peoples money and rebranding to hide from it is pathetic! Give everyone their money back!
Scam
Scam. Cancelled the event a couple of days before due to unforeseen circumstances and a refund will be sent, no refund received. Website is closed and no way of contacting them.
If I could choose zero stars I would
If I could choose zero stars I would. The event I bought tickets to was cancelled and when the new date was eventually released I was on holiday. I was only allowed 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep the tickets of get a refund. I missed the 7 day window by 2 days and can’t attend the new date due to already having other commitments. Months of messages on all platforms and I’ve not had one reply. They don’t care about their customers they just want your money.
SCAM!!
Awful event got cancelled along with numerous other places got a email saying it was cancelled a refund would be automatically issued 20 days later I called my bank to see if there was a refund pending atleast there wasn’t so I emailed balloons and beats no reply messaged them on Facebook no reply commented on their posts no reply called my bank again 5 days later still nothing pending so I had to ask for a charge back so now my bank are trying to get it resolved also found out they’d ‘planned’ the whole event for a local park with no council permission they had no idea until they seen it advertised on social media so it was never going to happen SCAM
Do not buy tickets
Please never buy tickets for these events. We were a trader at an event that got cancelled last minute in August 2025. Found out that it was due to them not having the proper plans and permissions in place. They initially said they would refund the money we paid out to them but despite numerous emails, no refund has been made. I've since had contact with other traders throughout the UK and they owe thousands to these companies. They block and delete all negative comments on their Facebook page. You can see their posts has 20 comments etc but none remain to be viewed.

We paid almost £60 for 2 tickets for an 80s revival weekend . Nearer the time we had a message saying it had been rescheduled for 3 weeks later . We went and it wasn't even the same event . It was country and western . We stayed 10 minutes and left . We had travelled, queued in traffic for ages to an event we didn't book for , didn't like , then emailed Balloons and tunes twice , only to be totally ignored .We lost £60 . Total con and will never go to an event with them again
Poorly planned
To be fair the weather wasn’t on their side but £7 for a pint of cider? £15 for chicken and chips! There was no balloons at all and every stall was WAY overpriced spoiled it really. There was also a LONG walk from the carpark to the event, seen people on crutches and with prams etc struggling! Poorly planned! Didn’t even have to scan your ticket on entry so could have just screenshot someone else’s tickets. Asked the people on the gate questions about the event none of them had a clue!
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. I booked tickets and parking via skiddle for balloons and tunes in January. It sounded amazing. It then got closer and things started to get cancelled for market harbour (the even i had booked for). Also looking at the past events it just made me feel worse about the whole thing. I was checking there Facebook page regularly and noticed so many people unhappy with the events and wanting there money back. I also noticed how all the negative comments were getting deleted! Anyway we decided not to attend due to all the bad negativity. I spoke to skiddle to try and get a refund due to the massive change of itinerary and apparently balloon and tunes has all the money and they are also not willing to give a refund. Never again. Please dont go to an event of theres.
Don't go, save your money!
The day cost my partner and I getting on to £300, this does not include what Grandad spent on our kids too!
Yes, the kids enjoyed themselves on the rides however, I'd rather have taken them elsewhere that was not a total miss-sell!
£26 for a burger and chips with two fruit shoots...diabolical!
Beers, these cost £7 for a single can.
The entertainment, well he monster trucks never achieved any of their stunts. The dinosaur was some guy walking around with a puppet on his arm. The music was alright but had little engagement with the crowd.
The rides were expensive.
Urinals, no space to move around people using them to get to the next one.
Bags were not checked properly.
I saw one balloon take off and the queues were ridiculously long.
Read the other reviews before purchasing and don't trust socials as negative reviews on comments via their posts are just deleted.

Totally disappointed as it was a glorified fun fair that you normally pay £1 to get in a park. The. Entertainment was rubbish, balloons were delayed as weather hmm….. food was a rip off. Just a total waste of money. Come on guys you can do better than this. £5 a ride for children just not on especially after we paid high priced x3 entry fees. Would not go again or recommend.
READ BEFORE BUYING A TICKET
READ BEFORE BUYING A TICKET - Not as advertised - I'm quite certain the operation violates a number of laws.
We made the mistake of going to the Uttoxeter Racecourse event. It was an awful experience. Came off around £300 worse of after buying lunch, and going on the rides. It was just an expensive fun fair where you're forced to spend your hard earned cash, especially with the kids.
Paid to park, but no one was checking, so people were parking that didn't pay a penny. Kick in the proverbial round ones.
Queued for an hour to get in and they didn't scan anything when we went in, so anyone could stroll in. Security took a brief look in bags, but anyone could have smuggled anything in. Seems like they were more concerned with finding sanwiches than anything dangerous.
Taking your own food was banned, security checking for smuggled sandwiches only. Potentially dangerous implements I assume are fine.
£7 for a single can of Red Stripe Beer. Mental.
£15 for a single small margarita pizza. Mamma Mia.
£20 for a burger and chips. Day light robbery.
£5 for a go on a bouncy castle for 2 minutes.
Oh and the best thing you queue for about 30 minutes for the privilege to spend £7 on a single beer. I feel violated.
It was absolutely packed out, getting around was like wading through a beach full of angry walrus during mating season. Tickets oversold or many people sneaking in. Couldn't see anything due to the sheer amount of people there.
There were Balloons but it was very lacklustre and anti climactic.
Live music was at best very sub standard. Not as advertised
Monster trucks kept getting stuck, 3 times rounds. Not as advertised
I would never, ever advised anyone to go to these events. Especially with Children, it was a living nightmare.
Do not waste your time, go to something else. These people running this should be shut down.
Absolute disgrace and rip off.
Totally agree with all the negative comments, absolute rip off. The organisers must be laughing their way to the bank .
PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.
If I could give negative stars I would.
Scam
Scam ! Scam ! Scam !
Paid for tickets, event cancelled, never got refunded
We got there around 1pm so we could…
We got there around 1pm so we could actually park but upon entering the parking ticket was never checked - so that was a complete waste of money. Your bags were checked and we had seen all food and drink being taken out which was completely unfair as all the drinks started at £3. The actual tickets weren’t scanned so you didn’t actually have to buy them you could’ve just had them screenshotted. Too many people were let into the venue the queues for anything were huge. We never seen the toilets even though we walked round multiple times. None of the characters were anywhere to be seen. The monster trucks were over an hour late starting and with a disabled child this was upsetting for them. The food started at around £10 + for everything
We ended up leaving before the trucks had stared due to the amount of people there wasn’t safe for my son and frankly we were bored of waiting around
We had seen mixed reviews but thought we would give it a try
Out son had fun so that’s all that matters but if you pan to go make side you have a good £50 spare for the day
If I could do 0 stars I would!
I booked under the impression that camping was included in the weekend price. The tickets themselves even reminded us to book weekend parking if camping – which strongly suggested camping was part of the package. Only the night before, while double-checking entry times (which, by the way, also contradicted the ticket stating entry between 4–9pm), did I discover this was not a camping event at all.
Because of this misinformation, attending became impossible. I live too far away to travel back and forth for two days, and I refused to pay an additional £90+ at the last minute for overnight accommodation.
To make matters worse, despite having paid extra for “refundable” tickets, I was essentially told my options were to either attempt to sell them (with less than 12 hours’ notice for an event already receiving numerous complaints) or accept the loss. The so-called refund option turned out to be little more than a money-grab, with layers of hoops designed to ensure you never actually see your money back.
The end result? Money down the drain, wasted time, and a “family friendly” company that has made it abundantly clear it cares far more about profit than fairness, transparency, or customer experience. I am absolutely appalled at how misleading and exploitative this process has been.
Should have known given all the changes and let downs leading up to the event!!
Really disappointing experience
Really disappointing experience. Paid £7 for parking only for tickets not to even be checked. We were told no food or drinks were allowed, yet plenty of people were walking in with cool bags and snacks. Anything we left behind to collect later was taken by staff, which felt unfair.
The rides were extremely overpriced, and the food was the same – poor quality for high prices, which is a shame as some places looked lovely! Queues for rides / bounce house were ridiculously long, including the toilets, which were a complete shambles. I only saw one disabled toilet, and there were no accessibility lines, which made things even harder. No disability viewing area for the BMX show / monster truck. Even with getting a spot spot early, you had no chance of a view when parents pushing / barging past to stick their children on their shoulders.
The foam party looked more like a health hazard than a fun activity. Timings for events kept changing and nothing like this schedule, and despite being advertised, there were no characters around at all.
Overall, very poorly organised, overpriced, and not family-friendly or accessibility friendly at all. Could be a great day however after yesterday I Definitely would not recommend.
What a complete con
What a complete shambles this event in Market Harborough was;
poor ‘tribute’ singers, no hot air balloons or parachutes, bike and monster truck ‘stunt performances’ was pathetic also told monster truck rides had to be prebooked online before arrival (it never mentioned this anywhere). very expensive poor quality food stalls and funfair rides. Overcrowded stage areas with poor viewing for any acts, a ‘foam party’ reduced to a muddy health hazard with no child safety.
Huge long queues to get in with inadequate parking, toilets and disabled facilities, bag search and food items confiscated at the entrance but we saw lots of other families with picnics, own food and dogs being allowed in unchecked even though event posters and social media stated no food or dogs allowed onsite. No checks on paid entry/parking tickets either with loads just wandering in for free causing more overcrowding.
Definitely not as advertised on the posters or social media - much of the attractions missing. Schedule times constantly changed, many of the main events cancelled just minutes before with no announcements causing huge disappointment. Very poor event organisation, most of the event staff looked clueless. Event organisers are just money grabbers that disregarded any safety regulations. They must make thousands over these events while acting dishonestly and avoiding regulations.
This event was originally advertised as a three day festival but that suddenly changed last minute with no refunds for those who had already paid for the lost day with online ticket booking.
Complete waste of money and just a huge con, should be reported and banned
The event was very poorly organised and…
The event was very poorly organised and felt like a cash grab, with everything priced far too high. The music was disappointing, with many acts relying heavily on auto-tune. The balloons couldn’t go up due to the weather, which is understandable, but there was no backup plan in place.
Our tickets for parking and entry weren’t even checked, and the security searches were so minimal that bags were barely looked at—making it easy for people to bring in anything. The stage was set too close to the balloon and stunt area, which meant you couldn’t hear announcements or the stunt commentary properly. Adding the constant noise from the fairground made the whole experience overwhelming.
The schedule was changed on the day, and a lot of the attractions originally advertised when booking were missing. Facilities were also poor: the toilets were inadequate for the size of the crowd, not maintained, and there was no baby-changing area at what was supposed to be a family event. The kids’ tent was far too small, and the foam party left the area slushy and unusable.
Overall, it was an overpriced, poorly run event that failed to deliver on its promises.
