Baked Earth charged £6 to send a sample tile! £6!!. And they charged for the sample tile as well. All the other tile suppliers sample and postage was free or postage was free.

Won’t be getting our tiles from them.

We were after a small quantity of terracotta tiles no thicker than 10 mms. Baked Earth were the only company we could find that supplied this type of tile but their minimum order was 5 square metres - we were only after 1 square metre. We spoke to a very helpful gentleman over the phone who agreed we could order the amount we required. The tiles arrived within 2 days of ordering. We are extremely happy with the service we received from Baked Earth and would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone. Many thanks Baked Earth for all your help.

Ahad at Baked Earth has been a real pleasure to buy from. I have at different times over the years had three floors laid with handmade terracotta tiles. This time I went with the Baked Earth Bangladeshi tiles rather than Mexican Saltillo. They are more rustic but - or rather and - equally good.

Ahad was extremely helpful and reliable throughout the buying process. Very helpful and straight when I was choosing the tiles online, very helpful about the ordering, and storing the tiles until I was ready for them and then ensuring they were delivered absolutely on time, and very helpful with aftercare queries.

We bought beautiful unsealed 150mm Sq terracotta. The tiles are porous as expected and not too porous, passed drop tests and we did not have anything like the 10% recommended wasteage. The colour variety is excellent and runs from yellow to pink to red and even a little brown, though not much. Gorgeous! Also I was very impressed by Ahad, who was always really quick to respond and super helpful. Impressive product and service.

Samples were delivered promptly and phone conversations have been really useful in helping decide our order.
