Baby mattress after 3.5 months and other drinking bottles (analogous products in terms of quality).
Long version: I ordered a non-standard baby mattress on November 30, 2025 for 49.99 euros with prepayment, after a month they announced that the product would not be delivered because it is no longer produced, they offered a 60 euro gift card. I agreed and on January 14, 2026 I ordered another mattress + more baby bottles for an additional 13.95 euros. After 3.5 weeks on February 9, they sent a message: we do not have such a product, you had a payment method with a gift card, your gift card is again active. Babystore.lv answers phone calls, even calls back, but that does not help, because any activity is only carried out via email. I requested a refund in the email, to which I received a response that they do not refund gift cards, I had not purchased a gift card, so I requested a refund of the money I had already paid within 14 days, otherwise I will send a complaint to the PTAC, which I sent after 15 days. No response from Babystore.lv, PTAC accepted the application. Then suddenly on March 4th my order has 5x notifications that a quality check is underway, then on March 10th they write that after 4 working days the mattress will still be available, they have ordered as compensation for delays, made in Latvia worth 100 euros. A day later an automatic notification comes - your order is packed and ready. I go to the shop and then I find out that the mattress has been produced and is drying, at the same time they tell me that the colleague was sick, then her children and my shipment were not processed. I can understand and empathize with the human side, BUT 3.5 months have already passed, my daughters are already 5 months old and the mattress will only fit one of them. In the mail, after 4 working days on March 16, I can pick up the mattress and up to 4 hours after working hours. Very nice, I went to pick it up, the mattress is real, not made up, but the baby bottles employee goes to look for it before asking - the age of the children and what they are intended for. Brought bottles from two other companies with similar quality and color + 2x smaller drinking bottles as compensation. Thank you, I accepted and wanted to leave, but they said they didn't have two M-size bottle nipples, but they ordered them and they would call today, it's 16:03, but there is no information, but I already told them on the spot not to bother, I finally have a mattress and some drinking bottles (Chicco and Dr.Brown, not Tommee Tippee). Ehhh, sad..

This is the worst shop where you can buy!! Avoid this shop - it's a scam and it's against the EU customer rights!
I placed an order - 3 sylvanian families for my child on february 25th. After one week without any update, I called and mrs. Anastasija told me they were waiting for the items.
I waited and trusted the order was just delayed. However, last week (after 2 weeks my order was placed), she told me the products were unavailable. She offered some alternatives, and I REFUSED THEM. I explained I just wanted to keep the order if it was with the original items and not alternatives. Otherwise, I would need my refund of 95.96 eur!
One day later, she told me the order has been shipped and it would come from their warehouse in Germany. I asked for the tracking number and she said she didn't have it.
On march 13th, the order arrived from AMAZON SPAIN, not Germany. I opened it and saw 3 sylvanian families I DIDN'T CHOOSE, just 3 random alternatives she picked on amazon to fulfill the order and avoid the refund.
This is illegal and also a case of dropshipping without the customer's consent. She is ordering items from Amazon and selling them as they are from the store.
She also has a scam on the website, where you can add unavailable items to your cart and pay for them, without realizing they are sold out. When an article is sold out, you can't add it to your cart and pay in a legit shop.
So I wrote an email and asked for my refund again, and she just said she is sorry that the alternatives weren't good for me. What??? Which shop can choose items for a customer without approval, and even when I specifically wrote on the email I WOULDN'T ACCEPT ANY ALTERNATIVES!
she lied to me and she knows that, and sent the order from amazon anyway. So, at this point, I need my refund of 95.96 eur and if it's not done, I will proceed with a formal complaint and open a process through the related authorities in Latvia and EU.
Don't trust mrs.Anastasija and babystore.lv, they have a pattern of selling unavailable items and replace them for items bought somewhere else, keeping the customer's money. She should be ashamed of lying to people who are buying toys and stuff for children!

They do not answer for emails,just ignoring. I canceled my order because I did not receive information if baby bed I paid for is available or do I have to wait? Over 1 month later the store still did not return my money,over 200 euros! They just ignore emails and don't pick up phone. After me writing them that I am about to turn to consumer rights institution the store apologised suddenly and promised to return money,but still no money. NEVER AGAIN

I have contacted customer service multiple times but received no response, which is very disappointing. According to EU consumer rules, refunds should be processed promptly after a return.
I expect the full refund to be issued immediately. This delay is unacceptable, and I hope Babystore will resolve this matter quickly after review.

I do not recommend anyone to buy from this store. It is very likely that scammers work here and we were deceived. We paid for a baby's wooden changing table back on November 28. To this day, we have neither it nor the money returned. Every time we call (if they pick up the phone at all) - there are promises that they will transfer money within the next 1-2 days, that the banking system is down, etc. There is also no response to emails, messages. I am shocked that such frauds are happening these days, under the guise of selling baby and children's things... My order number: 386703

I will be honest, the confirmation took a few days to show up in my inbox, so I was a bit worried for second. But it eventually came through, and after that, everything went smoothly. Package arrived about a week later and everything inside was exactly as described. It's not the fastest process, but shop is reliable and the items are good. No real complaints after all

The box was a little dusty when the courier arrived, but the seat inside was pristine and brand new, with all the tags and manuals. Support also helped me clarify the Isofix compatibility/. Overall I am satisfied thanks

I feel scammed. I have made an order at the 6th of January and didnt receive my item. After numerous calls they told me I will get a refund. Still no refund, no email replays and not even answering the phone.
If you are reading - order number 389410 is still waiting for 111.98 eu back!

Money for order was paid, confirmation and invoice received. 10 days later no further communication, no answers to emails about the order. :(
At the beginning of February I received a short email from them saying thar they are waiting for the product from the supplier and two weeks later still nothing, no communication about approximate delivery times.
I lost hope the order will arrive at all.

I ordered some baby clothes here, mostly bodysuits and tights. Everything arrived right on time and looked exactly like the pictures on the website. No complaints at all regarding the quality or the service. Really happy with the purchase!

I placed an order and received the product, but the service was terrible. There was no communication with the customer at all — my messages on facebook were ignored, and I only received an email saying the order had been shipped. There were no assembly instructions included with the product. The quality was very poor. I also called the store using the provided phone number and experienced extremely rude and unprofessional communication. The company really needs to improve its customer service. I do not recommend this store.

After they finally contacted me, they said they have 0 items that I ordered. How is it even possible to sell things that you do not even have?? I wrote 2 Emails that I want refund and of course no one texted me back. If I'm still not getting my money back soon, I'm going to reach out Latvian customer services. And I'm not stopping texting them until I have my money back. order 389193

Terrible service. Looks like a scam. I placed and order and paid for it, but dit not receive any order confirmation email. Few days later I wrote an email, but no reply. Yesterday I wrote another email asking for a refund. Still no answer.
Probably I need to contact Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Centre and take further steps.

Pasūtījumu babystore.lv veicu novembra beigās, jo mājaslapā bija norādīts, ka prece ir pieejama noliktavā. Diemžēl tā izrādījās nepatiesība. Pagāja nedēļas, preces nebija. Zvanīju daudzas reizes, un katru reizi dzirdēju vienus un tos pašus tukšos solījumus, ka piegāde būs “tūlīt”.
Vislielākā vilšanās — Ziemassvētkos bērni palika bez dāvanas. Nebija ne atvainošanās, ne sapratnes. Darbinieku attieksme bija nelaipna un vienaldzīga.
Preci piegādāja tikai uz Jauno gadu, kad svētku noskaņa jau bija sabojāta. Rodas sajūta, ka preces nemaz netiek turētas noliktavā un tās tiek pasūtītas tikai pēc apmaksas. Ļoti rūgta pieredze.
Neiesaku šo veikalu.

Šī pieredze bija vienkārši briesmīga. Pasūtīju preci 22. novembrī, jo bija skaidri norādīts — “ir uz vietas noliktavā”. Uzticējos. Gaidīju. Cerēju. Bet līdz pat 22. decembrim nekā. Zvanīju ap 10 reizēm, katru reizi dzirdēju tos pašus tukšos solījumus: “tūlīt būs”, “jau nāk”, “drīz saņemsiet”.
Rezultāts? Uz Ziemassvētkiem bērniem dāvanu nebija. Vilšanās, stress un asaras — svētki tika sabojāti.
Prece atnāca tikai 29. decembrī, kad Ziemassvētki jau sen bija pagājuši. Darbinieki — nelaipni, bez empātijas, it kā tas viss būtu pilnīgi normāli. Rodas sajūta, ka pēc naudas saņemšanas preces vienkārši pasūta no Ķīnas, nevis glabā noliktavā, kā tiek reklamēts. Tas, kas rakstīts mājaslapā, neatbilst realitātei.
Ļoti liela vilšanās. Neko te nesūtiet. Sajūta kā skems, nevis uzticams bērnu preču veikals.
