Amazing patches and customer service the entire way and I’ll definitely be coming back to this company in the future

There was an initial error with my order, but that was soon overlooked due to the quick response time to respond on correct the error. The level of costumer service was unmatched to ensure I got what it is I ordered. I was notified on every status update until shipped. Will keep coming back.

FIRST CLASS BUSINESS
I ordered a miniature model of an airplane for my son, who is an airline pilot. During the process, we had requested several modifications, not because of any error on the part of Aviator Gear. There was never any problem on their part accommodating these changes. They kept me apprised during the construction process and sent proofs for approval along the way. My emails were answered promptly and I always knew the status of my order during the different stages of production. The finished product was incredible; my son was very happy and recommended Aviator Gear to his pilot friends.

I absolutely love this company! I haven’t been able to get a virgin America model airplane as it doesn’t exist anymore. They were able to customize everything down to the detail, shipping was amazing and they communicated everything along the way. I’m looking to do a f16 next and will definitely be coming back. Thank you guys so much!!

The whole transaction went as planned. Received my model and it was exactly what I wanted. It took some time to get it but I expected that since Ive done this before. Had been looking for a model to be customized to a specific aircraft and aviator gear knocked it out of the park. Good quality and exactly what I wanted.

I'll retract my low score if they make it right and get back to me. Ordered and paid for model October 8 2023. They reported expected delivery date Dec 30 2023... Tried to get info today January 5 2024... update? Online chat says we'll get back... Called the number and got a foreign call center.... Hope I didn't get screwed..

Were awesome to work with and great product

Ordered a mini model from this company in September with an estimated delivery towards the end of November. It's December and I've just been told it's got 3-4 more weeks to get out of "artist stage" and then will go to production. This was a going away gift, and God willing, the person will be able to get it in time to be a going away gift from their next assignment. Communication is like pulling teeth. The only reason they get business is because they're the only game in town, but with customer service like this, that won't last much longer.

I wish I saw this site before ordering! I experienced every issue everyone else has. No communication. Write an email? Get a response if you’re lucky in 4 days. Ordered in March 2023, was told first week of July delivery. Then you guessed it! Production delays, wood shortage… etc! After reading these reviews how do you have a wood shortage for over a year? Finally got notification of shipping and for shipping from Jacksonville to Orlando it would take… 2 weeks? This things coming from out of country… the site and experience is false promises…

UPDATE: order not yet received but patches approved on OCT 18, and was promised 5-6 weeks. Currently went from 1 to 3 stars as they reached out and made things right. Will update if delayed. Will make 5 stars if on time.

I am trying to order 150 colored embroidered patches and 150 subdued patches. The only means of conducting your order is via email. I have been at this since 8/22 with no way to speak to anyone via phone and help make your dream into reality. It is now 10/13 and the skull color is completely wrong. I asked Krizza Gutierrez to simply change the skull from yellow to white and start production. She informed me this will take another 2 weeks to redo the artwork, approve, and produce sample patches and it will cost another 50 dollars. To make things worse she only answers every 4 business days to my email. I tried calling the phone number and the person who picked up couldn’t even let me speak to my designer, told me I can’t cancel my order, and was of no help. Other companies can have patches done in 3-4 weeks. This is disgraceful. My resolution is that Krizza changes our skull to white and makes our patches.

Edited: Ordered a model helicopter in February as a birthday present for someone celebrating the beginning of June. Was told 10 weeks to complete. After 12 weeks, I was informed of a production issue. After some back and forth arguments with customer service and the order getting cancelled then reinstated, I finally received the model the end of August. Because of these issues, I won’t give this five stars.

Having said that, this model is incredibly detailed and absolutely beautiful. It’s worth every penny and though the wait was extremely painful, I highly recommend ordering one of these models. I do hope they have solved the production issue because I would like to purchase more from them in the future.

Place an order with this company on December 13th, 2022. The company was quick with requesting images of the plane. This is a Christmas gift for a doctor in our department. He also called the company with information about the plane when placing the order. The deliver date is listed on the order of March 7, 2023. The doctor has called several times about the order and has been told that production is delayed and they had many orders, so it will be another 4 weeks. Those 4 weeks have come and gone, now the middle of June and no contact from the company. There has been no update on when the plane will arrive and they have the money. I would not suggest using this company, no communication and not trust worthy.

Placed an order for a replica of my C172P on March 6, 2023. Promised date was May 29th. I emailed on June 6th. No response. Called today (June 14) and got a customer service person based in Philippines even though website claims based in Jacksonville. The model is being made somewhere in Asia. Have been given no information nor do I have a ship date. The customer service does not have any information other than she will escalate. Not sure I have faith in that. I was going to order a second model but will refrain. They've had my money for quite sometime now.

Highly recommend for your unit needs, from start to finish was extremely professional and assisted in design and quality product. Shipment arrived prior to estimated delivery and everyone in our Program Office is excited to wear our new lanyards.

EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CUSTOMER NEED UNDERSTANDING
It it the first and of course the last time I order anything from this ‘company’. I ordered a customer own designed model. The completion of the order and the model shipment were promised for April 22nd. Nonsense!!! Not only that it has not still shipped out but their ‘senior designer’ or whatever title she wears Cristina Reyes has no customer service orientation and is full of nonsense and lies. They obviously received their money but the customer has never received their order as promised. I am considering legal actions against this company and I was wondering if someone has experienced something similar with them and what actions one has taken against them.

I placed an order and paid for 2 SBD and 1 F4U replica aircraft in December of 2022. The company website states 10 weeks for production of models. My invoice stated delivery date of March 3. I also placed two other orders of a total of 4 aircraft of which I have only received one aircraft to date. The company had sent me an email stating I was a VIP customer, but they have not actually provided me with the service of a VIP customer.

I had not received any of my models ordered by the end of March thus I contacted the company in which they responded with photos of the models for my approval. The 2 SBD aircraft were painted a Baby Blue color and not the correct colors of a SBD. They looked like kids toys, the detail on the aircraft was poorly hand painted on the aircraft. The company website shows a very professionally made SBD aircraft photo with correct coloring, the actual aircraft they tried to provide me with looked nothing like what they advertised. I rejected the aircraft and provided them with accurate photos and referred them to their advertised aircraft photo. Another month went by and no updates from the company thus I contacted them again. They sent me a photo of a SBD painted the same Baby Blue color which I again informed them was the wrong color. The next day they provided a photo of a correct color SBD without any markings which I accepted.

Two weeks later "May 3" there was no update on my aircraft. Also my other order that was supposed to be delivered by end of March had been stopped because of my not accepting the poorly made aircraft in this order. Due to the multiple issues experienced and the company not providing me with the products I had purchased with now a 2 month overdue date, I contacted the company and requested them to cancel my orders and refund me my money.

Having over 40 years of aviation experience and being a huge aircraft models collector with hundreds of different types of aircraft models displayed in my office at home, I placed an order for a VMFA-314 F/A-18C replica aircraft model from the company website. I was attached to this squadron from mid 1980s to mid 1990s. The aircraft replica that I purchased was of an aircraft we flew in the Gulf War.

I received the first approval photos a month after the advertised delivery date and the detail was terrible and did not correctly represent the aircraft which was a shock to me as it should have been like the aircraft they advertised on their website. I requested number corrections which they made and I received the model. The detail when seen up close after model was received as not very crisp, the squadron logo was a piece of plastic glued to the base instead of an expected decal as shown on the website advertisement photo. The weapons that accompanied the aircraft were very cheaply made and had damaged fins on the missiles and bombs thus I have opted not to used them on my display at home.

I had also placed 2 other orders for other aircraft in which now has been 5 months and I still have not received. I have requested them to be canceled and refund offered. A few aircraft I had also received photos for approval in which the aircraft looked like kids toys and not replica aircraft was shown on company website advertisement.

It has come quite apparent that the photos used on the company website are not of their products but photos of someone else's products that they are attempting to pass off as theirs. They outsource the production to an overseas company, making communication difficult.

I do not recommend this company and their products and all and advise to stay away from them and go to a more legit company with better products. They advertise and charge a high amount as if they are supposed to be this great aircraft replica company but their products are of a second rate company!

I took command of a Navy Reserve Augment unit that didn't have a patch. Needed to be remedied. Over the course of 6 months I went back and forth a gazillion times with Jasper, our artist, and I am very happy with our finished patch. Got it in PVC and it looks sharp! I have recommended Aviator Gear to friends and I will be ordering from them again in the future.

I came across Aviation Gear while looking for a company that made custom airplane models. I was anxious to see what they could do to craft a scale B-24 Liberator. My mother's brother was a co-pilot of one that was part of the 93rd American bomber squadron in World War II. He was killed in action over Germany during a bombing run.

I wanted to have a replica of his plane to share with my children and grandchildren. What I received was simply stunning, From the accurate shape of its fuselage to the insignia of my uncle's bomber unit on the front, this model was everything I had hoped for, Beautifully constructed and carefully painted, it will stand as a lasting tribute to the courage of the men and women who fought in World War II. Thank you Aviation Gear for making this possible.
