Pick up only with credit card - we did not have it. Ok I get it that I should have read the terms and conditions. My fault.
However, we were not able to pickup the car but we have been told that it is possible if we will pay for the higher insurance additional 200euros. We had to pay and miraculously got the car (it was possible even without the credit card). Very sketchy. Also it has been more than two weeks now and I still do not have the deposit back, would not recommend.

The office was not staffed at a busy time. There was a notice with incorrect contact number.
The staff were unhelpful .
We were given a car without air conditioning in June in Italy despite having paid for an air conditioned car.
Very dissapointing.

Picking the car up was fine - staff friendly and efficient and vehicle was in acceptable condition, except for quite a lot of superficial scratches, scrapes and dents - 13 were recorded already and I noted and photographed another three. No problems during the hire period. On return, the guy who checked the car inspected it closely and found a small (1.5cm) scratch in the black plastic bumper - I had not caused this or even noticed it on pick up - as Autovia clearly hadn’t either. (I had been informed that scratches less than 2cm are disregarded anyway). What followed was an argument where the agent was saying he believed I had caused the scratch and that I should have been more careful with inspecting the car if I wanted to prove otherwise. In the end, he backed down and agreed there would be no charge, as if he was doing me a favour. But this was so unnecessary - it left a bitter taste about Autovia and is why I am rating as 3 stars instead of 5.

Very nice staff, even late in the evening at the end of a working day.
And also flexibile when last minute I wanted to change cars because the first one was far too big for me!

Uncomplicated Service, we arrived one hour too early and the staff came extra to help us get our car.

Quick and easy give back as well!

Aeroporto Perugia, Tutto ok. Auto nuova in perfette condizioni. Un pò lunghi i tempi di riconsegna, Non c è un operatore al parking e i ragazzi del banco devono far avanti e indietro. Gentili e disponibili.

Everything went smooothly from booking to car pick up. The lady at the counter was incredibly helpful and on point. Car presented itself in good shape with a full tank, no hidden fees, no hassle and deposit was returned in about 2 days from car drop off.

Esperienza pessima
Personale indisponente, irrispettoso ed ineducato. All'arrivo ho dovuto percorrere a piedi e con le valigie tutti i parcheggi dell'aeroporto perché non si trovava la macchina.Alla consegna non c'era nessun operatore ed inoltre mi hanno addebitato il lavaggio dell'auto. Non prenoterò mai più presso la vostra compagnia

I used the Autovia/Ecovia services again, now in Perugia, and just like in Bologna, everything was superlative, the car DR 4.0 was new (even if it wasn't what I wanted, Kia Rio, in 4 days I traveled 1150 km without any problem) The employees at the counter are very kind, the counter and the car are easy to find, I handed over the car outside the opening hours in the same condition, the deposit was fully unlocked as soon as they started their schedule.

Personale disponibile e cortesissimo. Pronto a risolvere ogni problema.
Auto pulita e in ottime condizioni.

Mi hanno dato un auto con serbatoio pieno per 6/8 secondo loro, non lo era, e non tanto pulita. Al rientro poi lo staff diceva che non era allo stesso livello e io spiegavo che lo era mostrando anche lo scontrino appena fatto alla pompa di benzina. Non si può pretendere che un cliente possa riportare un auto con mezzo serbatoio soprattutto quando le tacche sul cruscotto non corrispondono assolutamente come il livello con le lancette fisiche. In tutti gli anni che ho noleggiato un auto anche all'estero mai mi è stata data un auto con mezzo serbatoio e riempire al distributore un serbatoio allo stesso livello è quasi impossibile senza fare il pieno e quindi regalare benzina al noleggiatore. Quindi consiglio assolutamente di dare esclusivamente auto con serbatoi pieni e non mezzi o 6/8 o in quel caso non pretendere che un cliente lo riporti allo stesso livello. Una cosa inaudita.

Got the car that i wanted, in a good condition, competitive price and helpful agent and clear policies. No pressure selling, and helpful staff. Only issue is that the waiting time to collect the car from Perugia was long as only one lady working at the counter. this could be improved on. Thanks will surely rent again.

I've never had a car rental where the car is older than a couple of years old. This didn't bother us at first. But when it broke down it became an issue. We were given the option of getting a taxi back to the airport to collect another car and Autovia said they would refund the taxi cost, but with flying back the following day we asked if we could just get a taxi to the airport to fly home the following day, and they confirmed they would refund us for this cost.

Once we got to the airport it took over half an hour for anyone to be around just to drop the keys off. I was then told i'd need to contact customer services to receive the refund for the taxi.

I did this when I got back to the UK, however they wanted an official invoice from the taxi company (this was never mentioned in the initial call). I had a receipt for the taxi, but with it being a individually ran guy in a small town it wasn't set up to provide any kind of official invoice, I explained this, even tried to create an invoice myself for them, but after multiple emails back and forth they still would not provide a refund.

Pessima esperienza, ci Hanno addebitano dei danni non fatti da noi, ma che sicuramente erano gia presenti, ma non Sono stati segnalati Sulla scheda dalla ragazza Al banco Al momento del ritiro dell'auto. leggendo le altre recensioni mi sembra un modus operandi di questa agenzia!!!!! Sconsigliatissima.

mi sono trovato molto bene ed ho trovato molto cordiale il personale del front office sia al momento del ritiro che al momento della consegna della macchina
