Was sent wrong autopart, attempting return. They have gone ghost, no return email and no contact phone number. I wish i had read the reviews prior to purchase, i would never have wasted my time.

I ordered the wrong product

I ordered the wrong product. Their fitment feature is deceiving but that’s another story.

I made them aware the same day multiple times in an attempt to cancel the order. Their response was that it had shipped. It had not; it was a weekend and I checked tracking. They refused to cancel the order.

I received the package; did not open it. Requested the return. They said it would be 1-2 business days. It’s been 2 business days. I’ve been had.

These people are so desperate for business that must stoop to deceptive tactics to get a sale.

Refuse to process return for item received in defective condition

Ordered a fridge for motor home thru Autoplicity. It was tested prior to installation and did not work. When called in to customer service, was told to get replacement ordered then they would set up return. Ordered and paid for replacement, sent over to support for returning of the defective fridge. Support tells me since it's defective, it's considered warranty and will have to go thru manufacturer, Norcold. We argued that we received it defective, didn't install - use six months - then it quit, and as such they needed to handle the return. Good looking with Norcold - hold minimum of an hour and when leaving request for call back - it doesn't happen. At this point, we are going to file a dispute with credit card company.

Poor customer service

Placed an order for shocks, received notice that they were back ordered for about 6 weeks. I cancelled the order and received confirmation of the cancellation.

I didn't receive a refund, called and was told refund was processed last week.
Called again the week after and was told the refund was processed last week and I will get an email confirmation.
Called again the next day after not receiving the email and was told refund was processed yesterday.

The agent was cold and just kept repeating the refund was processed yesterday allow x amount of hours for it to show up no matter what I asked.

I would avoid this company

Do not buy from AutoPlicity!!

Received this power cord and released it had the wrong plug on the end. I requested and got an RMA#. I returned the item promptly and in the same condition I received the item. Four times I was told I would receive a full refund and nothing. Five months later and after disputing with credit card company I received a refund minus a 30% restocking fee and return shipping charge. I paid for the return shipping. Do not buy from this company if you ever want a refund on a return.

Worst at returning money…

I went to their site because they offered an item at a lower price than most sites. We wanted to order because they also offered PayPal pay in 4 which would be helpful to us. I started to process the order but the site kept shutting down. Finally got to the pay part and I clicked PayPal pay and the order went through then it took me back and said shipping and handling needed to be paid separate. I thought ok, no biggie, hit the pay button and next thing I know my bank alerts go off. I'm expecting to see 130 for shipping and $90 for PayPal but instead see the full price 485 through the company and the $90 through PayPal. I'm like no. So I go to cancel the order by calling in, get told what's the email confirmation number? I didn't receive one. Ok well give it an hour then call back. I waited all day. No email. I call back the next morning. I get the order number from a customer service agent. They tell me you can't cancel over the phone you need to go to the site and cancel using your order number. This was the 17th. I get told by the person on the phone, you should have your money back by Tuesday, that would be the 21st. On the 21st, no emails no updates on a refund. Nothing. So I email back. I'm not seeing a refund status yet can I get some information? No reply on Tuesday, the 21st. Finally on the 22nd we get an email. We have started your refund process it should take 3 to 5 days. Yesterday the 26th. Day 5 still nothing. Emailed again. Got a response sorry for the inconvenience we are still working on processing the refund. Today, same, no money back, and email response was sorry feel free to email if you have further need for assistance. What I NEED is my money back. I was still going to use this company once I got the refund. But now? I will post this story on every review site I can find, also reporting them to the BBB. I have all my emails my phone log and my bank statement to back me up.
Do not order them cancel from this company as you will be lucky to ever see your money again.

Bought over $100 in product only to…

Bought over $100 in product only to find it was defective old product. Tried to contact by website and I was blocked from the website from owner of it right after purchase was made. They are scammers! Do not trust this company!!
This was my message when I tried to access their website:

This place is a joke

This place is a joke. Chargers 40% restocking for a part that was looked at. Crooks that’s all these people are. Take you’re business to Amazon or a local parts house. Companies like this deserve to be put out of business.

FRAUD ALERT

FRAUD ALERT! Autoplicity sold an "in-stock" part to me through their website. 24 hours later, they said the part was not available and cancelled the order. Then subsequently charged my credit card for the cost of the part (several hundred dollars). 20 days later, I still have not received a refund. I have called them several times, and get a variety of excuses as to why they can not refund my money at this time. You are not allowed to speak to a manager, and the customer service reps "can't connect you," or provide refunds. Even though the company has not delivered any product or service to me and has taken my money. I am filing a fraud complaint with my local police department.

I Investigate Deceptive Business Practices

I investigate, prosecute and file lawsuits against companies for engaging in deceptive business practices. Judging from my personal experience and from countless critical reviews I've read, I'll be looking into this company. One of the most common deceits I've seen with this company is advertising products at good prices then later informing the consumer the product ordered is not in stock. By then Autoplicity already has your money if you used a debit or credit card. Then attempts are made to sell you other same or similar products at a higher price. This is the classic definition of "bait and switch." Moreover, many consumers also complain of orders not being filled and of problems with refunds.

My story: On or about October 14, 2021, I ordered 2 sets of the same tire (4 tires total) because they were almost half price. The sets were $290 each. The very next day I was called and was informed only 2 were available at the sales price but Autoplicity could sell me the 2 other tires only at almost 2x the price Autoplicity advertised. I immediately canceled my order and demanded the return of my money, but Autoplicity shipped 2 tires to me anyway, inexplicably in separate shipments several days apart. Within 2 or 3 days of receipt of the tires I had them returned at considerable inconvenience. I returned both tires the last week of October, 2021. That was now over 2 weeks ago, and a month after I placed my order and immediately canceled my order. Nevertheless, my money has yet to be refunded.

The people at Autoplicity were generally pleasant on the telephone, but that does not excuse this company's poor business practices. I will not recommend this company to others.

Autoplicity/Boatplicity poor customer service

I purchased a part from their boat part store Boatplicity which was defective. I immediately contacted them and received an email response that my return was under review and return details would be sent shortly (24 hours later). Turns out that their return details involved me sending the part back to the manufacturer. Unfortunately I had already ordered from another supplier and Boatplicity refuses to accept the part pack. I even offered to send the defective part to the manufacturer for replacement and to then send the new part to them.

Never shop this site

Never shop this site. We used them for a purchase of a satellite dish (they also sell on Amazon).
When we purchased we had read some bad reviews and good reviews. Bad reviews saying their Wally Satellite Dish was garbage. We should have listened. But being the optimistic we ordered.
Driving long haul - this would have been great.
BOTTOM LINE: They brushed us off, wrote the same “waiting for warehouse” approval bs. No Refund or response since.
We are on the road delivering products to warehouses - we know how customer service works.
BAD COMPANY. Please search elsewhere.

Horrible Ordered an engine trying to…

Horrible Ordered an engine trying to restore a car for my dad to cheer him up from his cancer battle. Advertised as complete engine turnkey so i went with them over JEGs. Engine came with no intake carb water pump and so forth. Paid way more than i would've paid had i brought the same set up from Summit or JEGS. To all my veterans brothers and sisters run from this place or at least ask questions and don't fall for the false advertisement schemes. Not only is the items not as shown its not as advertised meaning missing major parts run run run.......

I placed a first time order form…

I placed a first time order form Autoplicity, and got conformation. They charged my credit card. I went online to check and it said charged and complete, the next business day. 2 days later I got an email that said the order was cancelled, but no reason. I called and was told it was not in stock. I looked, and it showed 6 in stock as I was speaking to customer service. I was told that is not always correct. I asked, why is it that the order is marked complete and I was charged. Was told that it takes time to refund. Meanwhile, I need a master cylinder, and cannot use my car...great way to run a business!!!

Unreliable Scam Company

Ordered BMW f30 front bumper lip, good price and they canceled the order 4 days later, no emails or contact. Item is listed as Free Shipping and available “Buyer Be Aware”. Spend your money with a reputable company. Save yourself the hassle to give your hard earned money to an unreliable supplier.

Couldn't return part

I ordered a tow bar.. it didn't really work like the description stated so I wanted to return it. Well their return policy is if you try to install or install a part you can't return it. Then after 4 emails trying to explain to them what was going on, the customer service supervisor was getting rude and basically forgetting the facts in the emails. It wasn't a warranty issue, it was a design issue...It was basically impossible to return a part under their rules I mean how can you tell if a part works in a box? If you take it out of the original package materials and even attempt to install... you can't return a Mechanical part. And installing a tow bar, no altercations, doesn't ruin a tow bar. I'll never use them again. I would never suggest using them.

Cancelled order, no notification

They cancelled my order and did not notify me.

I ordered an item for my vehicle. The website said they had 10 in stock. I get an order confirmation, a week later, I got a delivery notification. The delivery did not include any tracking information, and notification said that if I had not received it yet, to wait 48 hours before contacting them.

The 48 hours pass, and I log in to track the order, and the website says my order was cancelled. I call the customer service number, and the person on the phone tells me they cancelled it because the item was not in stock, and they were not able to outsource it.

I was never notified that the order was cancelled, and even more confusing was the delivery notification.

I should have heeded the warnings, but thought I would try to save a few dollars.

I called autoplicity to purchase a refrigerator, the customer service name Joy took my phone number and told me that she was going to call the warehouse to find out if they had any refrigerator available, she called me back and said that she found one available and asked me for credit card information, name and address, she gave me a order number and told me that I was going to receive it at the end of next week.
For some reason I checked my bank account and didn't see any charges from autoplicity and decided to call them, another customer service agent asked me for the order number when I told her that I didn't see any charges to my account and she told me that she was sorry but that they are out of stock, I asked to speak to a supervisor and someone last name Vasquez told me that another person went and got the refrigerator and that she couldn't hold it for anyone.
I didn't have words for that, what she meant with holding it, I paid shipping, I paid 1949 dollars for it.
