Service is great

Service is great, schedule is fast, service is fast and very complete. My advisor is Mike Doht, with one call or one txt he setup everything. Love the honesty and professional work. Service is more important than the car itself. Almost all my life I drove Mercedes but the dealer service deteriorated so much that I came to AutoNation for an SUV i met Mike Doht and it has been my best decision ever. Please AutoNation do not “improve” anything leave as is which is great.

... do not purchase add-ons... make sure the invoice lists in detail (can sue later) anything extra... do not purchase the pre-paid maintenance plan...

The rating is a zero. But I can't put that. Wanted a car from them, called and was told "we are a one price shop, that's the price out the door. A total lie! Drove 2 hours to Miami for them to tell me oh the total will be 12500 for their 10k car. Yeah, one price. One price for each extra charge

Rip Off

I would rate the AutoNation parts. com a Zero if I could.
Order a Honda License plate base by the Vin number.
Wrong part was sent. I wanted to send it back. Could not because I didn't have the bag it came in.
If I was to send it back. I would only get about half my refund. Have to pay restoking fee, shipping and I don't know what else.
The customer has to pay for everything because the company sent the wrong part. Even when they got the vin number. B S
The company is a rip off. I will never do business with them again. Stay away.

No refund on expedited shipping that did not happen.

I ordered a part on 5/12/24, and included a $18.79 fee to expedite shipping. 2 weeks go by, I call, and they said the store that the part was ordered from was out of stock and had to get it from another store and that's what's taking so long. 5 minutes later, I finally get an email that the part was ordered. I should receive the part on 5/25/24.( we'll see) I called and asked for a refund for shipping and they said the best they can do is $6. This place is a joke, it's no wonder there's almost 1000 complaints to the BBB, and only has a 1.5 star overall review. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! GO ELSEWHERE WITH YOUR BUSINESS!!!

Dont trust what they say

Bought a used car that i was told in writing that the new tires came with a 24 month hazard warranty. After 5 months had flat. Went to dealership. Was told they couldnt find anything in system regarding coverage. When I showed him documentation proving otherwise he just said sorry. Ive reported a complaint to better bussiness bureau. They will lie to sell you anything

Doesn't stand behind their vehicles

Doesn't stand behind their vehicles. Pre inspection is BS. Purchased a truck here with warranty and a week later started to have a leak into the passenger side part of the floor. This is a sign of a heater core going bad or some type of coolant issue. 1st they wouldn't even look at it and asked me to go to another Autonation dealer. Finally found one that would actually work on it and then they denied the warranty claim. I had this truck for like week and they still charged another $1000 to fix. Never again will I or anyone I know do business with ANY Autonation again.

one of the worse business, I ordered part for my jeep compass 2022 Latitude with vin number , they sent me wrong part, part was not compatible with my car, I multiple time sent them E mails and also filled return order form they did not reply to me, don't go to this business one of the worse customer dealing.

Beware of Danny Cody and Kaylen Gray at AutoNation Ford South Fort Worth

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Danny Cody and Kaylen Gray at AutoNation Ford South Fort Worth, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. These two individuals epitomize everything wrong with used car salespeople - they are deceitful, negligent, and utterly contemptible in their business practices.

I purchased a Range Rover from them, with the VIN number ending in 248469, and it turned out to be a complete lemon. Just two weeks after driving off the lot, the vehicle died on me. To make matters worse, the insurance policy that came with the car was utterly worthless when I tried to make a claim for the engine failure. The insurance company flat-out stated that AutoNation Ford South Fort Worth was to blame for not properly inspecting the vehicle before selling it to me.

It's infuriating to think that I trusted these individuals and this dealership, only to be sold a defective vehicle that ended up being nothing more than a financial burden. Two weeks was all it took for the vehicle to become completely unusable and effectively totaled.

I urge anyone considering doing business with AutoNation Ford South Fort Worth to steer clear of Danny Cody and Kaylen Gray. They have no regard for the well-being or satisfaction of their customers and will gladly sell you a lemon without batting an eye. Save yourself the headache and avoid this dealership at all costs.

One of the worst experiences I ever had

One of the worst experiences I ever had.

I'd say please avoid going to this dealership, they are ZERO Customer service oriented.

1. I went there looking for an Atlas, a salesman caught my wife and I walking in, the very first thing we saw was a person just talking about himself and his multiple sales awards over the years, he was very disrespectful and only worried to close the deal, he didn't take care of the customers at all.

2. Once we close the deal, the paperwork said that the vehicle had 25 miles on it, but when we received the vehicle, it had 78 miles, well... first thought was that this car had lot of tests-drive.

3. The mileage looked weird to us, but what a surprise: we found a previous registration for the same VIN from JAN/24 inside the glove compartment, which makes more sense about the mileage, maybe this car was bought but returned the next day or something (I’m aware of this, because I bought a car on Kia and I returned it because it wasn’t the vehicle I expected), Now I really think it happened, but the Salesman insisted that car was brand new.

4. During the final delivery process the salesman just gave us the keys, showed a couple of things about the car and once he told us about my VW App, I wanted to set it up, but he insisted to do it at home, not at the dealership.

When I got home, tried to setup the App, but it never worked, set up was not successful after 2 days trying, I reported the issue and something is wrong because after almost a month, I still don't have access to the App, they said the car is Offline.

I called VW and they said that this vehicle was locked by another user who registered previously on the App, for me: the previous owner, the person on the January's registration, salesman knew something about this car, because he insisted to do it at home.

5. We did a quick walk around, we saw the car dirty, but the salesman told us that the car was fully cleaned and detailed before giving it to us, pictures show how they delivered the car, it was a complete mess!, how a brand-new car will look that way?

After a month driving the car and a very frustrating and a stressful process of back and forth with the dealership, there are a couple of things:

- The mileage, the registration on another's person name, the physical status of the car (looked used) still looks weird to me, but the dealership insisted that I’m wrong, the car was clean, detailed and in brand-new condition, but the pictures show a different thing.
- The my VW App not working (situation that has not solved yet, after 2 visits to the dealership and more than 9 wasted hours), the car was locked by another user previously, so if the car is brand-new how another person had access to it?
- I have been sending multiple emails with no answer to any of them, the salesman just called me and said on the phone He was not going to reply to any email, he said multiple times and in a very loud tone: I ALREADY SAID, JUST COME HERE AND WE'LL TAKE CARE OF THE CAR. At some point he got frustrated because I’m just claiming the right to get a brand-new car, the one I bought, but he yield at me to go to the dealership, so he can take care of everything.
- I asked for an appointment with the General Manager but looks like this person is aware of the internal situations because I didn't get any answer, any appointment, that was the reason I said: this dealership has no interest in their customers, zero customer care.

Autonation Lousy Service

I had car 2014 Sonata towed to Autonation North Richland Hills. Hybrid system was going off. I spoke to Zachary Mobley the service rep. He messaged with al the repairs two days later. I went I to talk to him because most of the recommendations he sent had already been completed on the car a few months earlier. I told him the Hybrid system is under warranty can you repair it here? He said no Vandergriff Hyundai has to fix it because they originally worked on it. $215 tow job to Vandergriff. When I spoke to Vandergriff they said Zachary lied to me. Any dealership can do warranty repairs. Having said that I had the car towed recently to Autonation again on a Monday. It has no power no lights no nothing. Battery was swapped out still nothing. Jorge Caldera said they will look at it on Thursday. So I dropped by on Wednesday the day before. Jorge said tomorrow we will look at it. I text him Friday about the car and he said they haven't looked at it yet. So I stopped by Saturday to chat with him and he's off. So Tuesday I had to have the car towed from Autonation to Hiley Hyundai in Fort Worth. $225 for that. The car sat at Autonation for 8 days in the same spot. Nobody looked at it. When I got to Hiley Hyundai of Fort Worth. They took my car right into garage even though my appointment was for the following day. Automation Hyundai in North Richland Hills is a lousy dealership with plenty of liars working in the service department. If you need warranty service or any service for your Hyundai. Take it to Vandergriff Hyundai in Arlington or Hiley Hyundai in Fort Worth. -5 stars for Autonation

Autonation… thieves and thugs. $199 convenience fee.

This review is about Autonation corporation, not this particular
dealership Location. Autonation corporation is forcing all their Florida dealerships to charge a $199 optional fee on every sale. Please refuse this fee and make sure it is not written on your purchase agreement in any way/shape/or form. They already charge you a $995 dealer fee which includes documentation! They are charging an additional $199 for electronic filing. They use a third-party company to handle title transfers/tag transfers/documentation/etc. That third-party company only charges Autonation $76 and then Autonation gets a “kickback check” for $123 on every single deal as per third party company representative. They’ve been doing this since 2004! Since it is optional, make sure they do not charge you for this fee. Do not let “Any” Autonation dealership put this fee on your buyers order/purchase agreement. As soon as you see it, tell them to remove it and don’t let them just take it off the top line, make sure it is not written anywhere. do not initial the section that states that you’re OK with that fee! Absolutely not! Decline immediately! Autonation corporation are thugs and thieves. If any Autonation dealership tries to charge you this fee, regardless of you telling them you are refusing to pay for it, reach out to Jill Bilanchone @ (954) 769-2447 “Vice president of Autonation”. Let her know you are refusing to pay that ridiculous “optional fee” and the dealership is still trying to charge you for it. Let her know Frank sent you. We are besties 😂. also reach out to the Southeast Florida BBB. There you could post a review and begin an investigation. Also, reach out to the FTC, Florida’s consumer, protection department, State, attorneys, office, and the local DMV in the county where the dealership is located.

scammers. I ordered some parts. Three weeks for the shipment, never happened. I asked for a refund and three weeks passed. They keep on sending the same kind of automated message and difficult to reach them via phone and email as well. It was very bad experience and don’t you dare to place order.

I tried AutoNation Parts, it's as worthless and deceptive as AutoNation car sales. Absolutely no customer service, take your money and then not send the part. Cheat you on your trade in and then do a full credit report which dings your credit score on just a look at cars on the lot. Why, How, is this disreputable business still going?

Beware of Autonation Chevrolet…

Beware of Autonation Chevrolet Gilbert!!! Please be advised that my review reflects a cautionary tale regarding my purchase experience at Autonation Chevrolet Gilbert, specifically with a used Ford F450. I reluctantly offer a one-star rating solely due to the absence of a zero-star option.

In summary, upon locating the desired vehicle at Autonation Chevrolet Gilbert, I dispatched an assistant to evaluate the truck. He reported several evident issues, which the sales representative assured would be resolved pre-sale. After a week or so, we were informed that the truck was prepared and "ready." Nevertheless, we discovered a persisting oil leak from the turbo booth, for which they promised a replacement part— a promise unfulfilled to date. The dealer provided a checklist that came with vehicle, implying a comprehensive mechanical inspection, which seemed reassuring.

During the purchase, I was persuaded by the finance manager to add an expensive million-mile warranty, portrayed as beneficial due to high repair costs for such trucks. I went ahead and purchased the warranty based on his recommendation. Unfortunately, merely a week later, noticeable steering and suspension problems arose. When I took the truck to AutoNation Ford in Scottsdale, it was evident that it required repairs for pre-existing conditions, which were not covered by the warranty.

After a formal request to Autonation Chevrolet Gilbert to cover the repair costs, due to the impossibility of detecting these faults at the time of purchase, I received no response. The same disregard was shown to inquiries from AutoNation Ford Scottsdale, who provided exemplary service, amazing people working there!!!

The out-of-pocket expense for repairs amounted to approximately $3,000. I am currently assessing ways to recoup these costs from Autonation Chevrolet Gilbert. This experience has left me feeling deceived. I am resolute in not patronizing Autonation Chevrolet Gilbert for future purchases and am committed to sharing this experience with potential customers. It is a regrettable situation that warrants attention.
