At what was a very difficult time, the help and support provided from the Welwyn village office was extremley professional and comforting. Kelly Hedges was most attentive and professional throughout as was Lee Mason on the day of the funeral.

Excellent service throughout the whole journey. Staff very understanding and always helpful.

Kelly was so very helpful at a very difficult time. She was in constant touch and made sure absolutely everything was covered before the funeral. We were really pleased that we chose Austins .

Austin’s were sensitive and supportive from beginning to end. Respectful, and accommodating when we decided to change some final details. My mum had lived for many years in her home and to see the hearse walked up through the street was moving and traditional. Would recommend whole heartedly

They guided us through each step with patience and clarity, making a challenging process feel manageable and dignified. Their kindness and genuine care for our family never felt rushed or impersonal.

The service was handled beautifully by Sandra Hart (who we highly recommend as a celebrant - so kind and compassionate), Lee and the rest of the staff at Harwood Hill Crematorium.

From the very first contact on a very sad day, Sharon could not have been more kind or helpful. At a time when I was at a complete loss in everyway entering a world I had never entered myself before- they are calm and caring and hold your hand every step of the way. I felt supported from the time my husband died until after the funeral. As soon as the doctor had been to confirm his death they came to collect his body. They were so respectful and kind. Julie helped us so much with the organisation of the funeral. Nothing was too much trouble. On the actual day I was well looked after. Everything was done so professionally. I felt in good hands
