Before reaching a decision, I read reviews and was aware of serious issues customers had encountered with N. Wickham’s (now-defunct) company (Irish Gold Bullion). I had, also, read Katie Chong’s public statements reassuring customers that her company (Aurum Metal Invest) has “nothing to do with either Irish Gold Bullion or Nicholas Wickham” after parting ways with them in March 2020. I wrote to Aurum Metal Invest enquiring about the payment procedure. The (prompt and detailed) responses I got from Katie Chong were professional and to-the-point. From what she wrote to me + judging from all the TrustPilot and Google (both the positive and the two negative) reviews, I realized that this is a legit business that can be trusted. Most importantly, I independently checked and verified what Katie Chong had publicly written about Aurum Metal Invest having nothing to do with Irish Gold Bullion. A minor concern was that Aurum Metal Invest’s bank account (at Wise Europe // formerly known as TransferWise) is in Brussels (Belgium) while Aurum Metal Invest is based in Dublin (Ireland). This seemed a tad weird to me. Yet, having verified (by completing a thorough research) that Aurum Metal Invest is a legit business, I elected to go on and make a transaction with Aurum Metal Invest. I wasn’t let down. I can now confirm (based on my personal experience) that Katie Chong and her team are professional, decent people that can be trusted. I am fully satisfied from my experience with them and have nothing negative to write. Katie Chong quickly replied to all my queries; she fully abided by the time schedule she had indicated in her email messages + her description of the packaging she was about to use (specific details about the bubble wrap + the box) was fully accurate. Aurum Metal Invest delivered what had to deliver and paid attention to every detail, keeping all their commitments. Another point I wish to highlight is that they were smartly discreet [discretion is important in the precious metal business]. Finally, their prices are really competitive. To recap: by delivering what they had to deliver; by their fast, well-written, rational, and to-the-point responses to my messages; by making commitments (about the exact features and the quality of the merchandise, about the shipping and the delivery timetables, about the packaging) that were honoured; by their competitive prices and by being discreet, they proved (beyond reasonable doubt) that they run a professional and legitimate company. In addition, by offering me a small (~10 GBP worth) surprise gift, they proved that they care about their customers. Before doing business with anyone for the first time, you shall do your own research. Yet, in this case, I am feeling confident to share my positive experience and state on the record that trading/investing with Aurum Metal Invest is a safe option that will -almost certainly- keep you fully satisfied. By purchasing or selling precious metals from/to Aurum Metal Invest you don’t risk any “money headache”; instead (judging from my personal experience), I can assure you that you will find out that you are dealing with honest, trustworthy, professional, law-abiding people. I had a totally positive experience with them and wholeheartedly recommend Aurum Metal Invest for a hassle-free trading/investment experience.
