I’ve gotten many tattoos. Only part I don’t have is my stomach. I’ve had experiences with several artists. Some who I still stay in touch with to this day. I waited to do my elbow to wrist sleeves on both arms last. I knew they would be seen the most and I didn’t want to rush into anything. I walked into probably a dozen shops and contacted even more on ig. Some were rude or unwilling to simply listen. Others never even responded. I came across Augis art by chance and was drawn in. Yes, there are amazing artists out there. However, not always local or even in the country. Travel is not an option for me due to work. So I wanted to find the best in my area in the style I was looking for. Sometimes it seems like you can only find them by luck. What I really appreciated was something only someone who is heavily tattooed may notice. He’s responsive to my messages. We set up a zoom call to discuss my ideas before hand. Willing to allow me to bounce ideas off of him prior to my next appointment . I see far too often people who get an artist who just says yes. When he works, he is strictly dedicated to the project. You’re his sole focus. He wasn’t stepping away for anything. I’ve had artists take numerous breaks/meeting with other clients while working on me making me feel like my 6 hour session was really only 4. We will be wrapping up both my sleeves next week. His work is great but there’s a lot more that this artists offers than just his skill and for that I would highly recommend. Thanks for your work brother.

I have been working with Augis for two years since November 2024, we have finished a full gothic themed sleeve, a half sleeve and currently in the process of a full back piece!
A few years ago I was researching artists and his profile kept popping up, I was drawn to his style and work. It was also a huge plus that a phenomenal artist was located right near downtown Chicago, I live 6 hours away in Minnesota. I have driven, taken a flight there or the train many many times, I keep continuously coming back because his work is absolutely worth it! I appreciate his input and how honest and straightforward he is as far as what he knows will flow with the body & what will last long-term! My boyfriend also gets tattooed from him and it’s so awesome when people in public recognize that the art we have on our bodies is by the same artist!!

Definitely recommend Augis to anyone who wants lifelong beautiful art on the bodies with intention and flow, as a client someone who is willing to trust the process and know that good things don’t happen overnight, they take time but it is so worth it in the end!!

Augis has been tattooing me for over two years now! He has done my entire right arm sleeve, and so far, half of my left leg. His work is phenomenal! He has amazing attention to detail and the results show. He is also a laid back guy who is easy to talk to, so it makes the sessions chill and relaxed. If you want the highest level of quality with that WOW factor, he is your guy!!

He’s a great tattoo artist.. has amazing work… once he starts tattooing you.. he’s locked in and gets it done the right way.. also if you don’t know what you want to get just let him know your ideas and he’ll come up with something .. give you some references.. but over all cool guy.. and definitely getting more future projects with him

I decided to do a full arm sleeve...a stoic, Roman theme...so I did my research on the best photorealism artists, and Augis's work came up time and time again! Augis is tremendously talented, but also extremely kind and easy to work with. He explained the process and layout of the designs at every step. I live in Detroit, and I drove the 4.5 hours each way and stayed in hotels, just to be able to work with him...so that should give an indication as to how great he is! I get compliments on the work almost daily! He and I are currently working on a leg sleeve design to start in the new year!
