From the minute I walked into Hidden Hearing in Margate I knew I was in safe hands.
The audiologist, Emily, was very thorough and explained each process in detail.
The exam on my hearing was extensive and the results were explained to me using terminology I could understand.
It was suggested that I would benefit from hearing aids but I didn't feel under any pressure to buy.
After a few days I decided to go ahead and chose the model and 2 weeks later I had my new hearing aids.
The receptionist, Sandra, was also very helpful and my whole experience has been very positive.

Rachel Smith is a superb ear practitioner whom I’ve visited several times for wax removal. Her clinic is clean, comfortable and has excellent privacy, and I’m always made to feel very welcome.

Rachel uses a little handheld probe to provide images of the inside my ear - I have to say, I do enjoy the before and after images! She talks me through what she can see and what she’s going to do, and ensures my complete comfort throughout my appointments. I would say she definitely goes above and beyond. Rachel is a perfectionist when it comes to ear health, yet always puts safety and comfort above all else. I highly recommend her at the Margate branch.

I am writing as both a client of Hidden Hearing (Margate) and as a retired GP with 42 years experience of working in the NHS; and I have been very impressed by the assessment and help that I have received.
My initial assessment was a year ago, by Luisa Wright, an audiologist and hearing care expert. The assessment involves a thorough medical history and a relevant hearing history. Then there is an examination of the ears and canals. Then both ears are tested for hearing thresholds at various frequencies, including a test against an audio background of environmental noise. This test showed that I was just above the threshold for needing a hearing aid. I was then reassessed more recently, and this demonstrated a decline in both ears. There was a discussion about the range of hearing aids on offer, and I made a choice. I then returned and was given plenty of time to be talked through the day to day running of the hearing aids. I have a further appointment in 2 weeks time to go over any issues that may have arisen and to learn how I can alter the aids using my smart phone (should I wish to that is).
All in all I was very impressed by the professionalism of Luisa Wright and the help from Lucy Rose the business coordinator. I would recommend Hidden Hearing (Margate) to my friends.

I visited Hidden Hearing’s outlet in Margate earlier today for a hearing test and hopefully a solution to my hearing issues. I saw Louisa the Audiologist, who was very friendly, knowledgable and professional. She conducted the hearing test and explained the results to me in an easy to understand manner.
She also identified the most suitable hearing aids to address my hearing issues and I was able to trial these at the outlet. I can definitely recommend Louisa and Hidden Hearing in Margate.

I needed the batteries replacing in my hearing aids so the very helpful young lady did that for me and updated the aids as well. No charge. A very pleasant experience. Also, as the heavens opened as we prepared to leave, she searched in a cupboard and found us a huge umbrella! She said there was no rush, but we have now returned it.

It was a fantastic experience I felt I was in safe hands. Emily Newman was very helpful and thorough when testing my hearing. The equipment used was varied and up to date. We came to a conclusion and was I helped to choose which hearing aids I needed. I look forward to picking them up and hearing again.

From the minute I walked through the door, both my partner and myself were made to feel welcome. We were both made a cup of coffee. My partner was welcome into the consulting room and the whole examination findings were explained to both of us, including images on the computer screen.
I returned for my fitting on my own. Emily asked how my partner was, using her Christian name making me feel like I was with someone who knew us.
At no point was there a hard sale.
Both Emily and Lucy made the experience comfortable with no pressure.

The personalised approach was outstanding….. from the welcoming reception through to the carefully explained description of each stages of the testing.
Emily was exceptional in putting me at ease in her friendly, approachable manner.
There was plenty of time to ask questions and to understand the process.
There was no pressure to purchase hearing aids, however if in the future when I need hearing aids I would have no hesitation of returning to Hidden Hearing.

As always a very pleasant experience on my visit to the Margate branch, Lucy the receptionist is always helpful with a big smile on her face. Luisa the audiologist is so patient and always makes me feel at ease and helps with any problems I have. I cannot recommend this company highly enough great service and extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Rachel at the Margate branch is very welcoming and friendly, which puts you at ease throughout the appointment. Furthermore, I was particularly impressed by her professionalism and genuine care during the procedure (microsuction). Scheduling an appointment is straightforward. Highly recommended!
