I had an absolutely excellent experience with ATET Rent A Car at Ljubljana Airport. The car I booked, a VW Caravelle Automatic, was in superb condition (May 2025 model) with features far beyond what I expected – it truly made our journey comfortable and enjoyable.

The staff were equally impressive. Although I forgot the names of the two gentlemen at the counter, they were professional, quick, and efficient. Special thanks to Ms. Zorica Bubanja, who stood out for her professionalism and support. Right from the quoting stage till the end of the rental, she was always available to promptly answer any query – making the entire process smooth and stress-free.

During the trip, I faced a minor issue regarding AdBlue. I sent an email to ATET and, to my surprise, received a call from their technical team within 5–7 minutes, who guided me to resolve the issue immediately. This kind of responsiveness is rare and truly commendable.

The car return process was equally quick and efficient, and my deposit was refunded within just 2 working days.

Overall, I cannot recommend ATET enough. If only they had branches all across Europe, I would choose them every single time. An excellent company with outstanding service!

Super helpful staff, great car and made returning and reporting a scratch so easy. Glad we took out the insurance offered as we were driving to Italy to a football match, which is where the scratch to the bumper probably happened. Highly recommend

I got charged 650 (damage) + 70(administration) = 720 euro for a scratch. The scratch can be “seen” on google reviews.
I booked the car from 19th of July to the 27th. I’m not sure when this scratch occurred, even if I had made pictures before hand I would not have been able to see it nor proof it was already on it😂. I would be okay with paying a normal amount but you get pushed into signing an agreement with the damages before knowing the price (stating: “you also agree not to have been drinking signing this” sure…) and you also paid a 1400 euro deposit so you don’t want to be stuck never getting that amount back. Use this as a warning before renting a car here, I feel like they do this more often to get money out of insurance or customers to keep prices “low”.

Good experience renting from this company. Good, very new car, SUV as ordered. No problems with pick up or drop off. No nasty surprises. Would recommend over the big operators.

Everything was as we agreed. I reserved car 6 months upfront. Multivan which I rent was excact as they descript me, with equipment I ask.

The best rent a car company on the Slovenian Coast! The guys of ATET Koper are amazing, fair and they'll try to accommodate your needs. I rented different cars from them and the cars are always clean and ready to go. Would recommend 10/10.

Horrible experience, was charged an administration fee after someone damaged my car despite paying for full insurance.

Next time, when I wanted to rent a car for my friend, their employee was playing UNO reverse with me, constantly going back and forth with his statements on availability, price, and required deposit.

After finally agreeing on everything, they sent the offe,r which was confirmed immediately on my end but then I was informed that all cars are already occupied for that day.

Avoid at all costs, scam.

We had an excellent experience with our two week rental from ATET. The vehicle was like new and the staff were efficient and helpful. We picked up in city and dropped at airport. There was no one available at dropoff so I left keys in drop box and was notified later in the day that my deductible deposit had been fully returned. The basic plan included a 1000eu deductible and my credit card would act as secondary and cover that if needed. We also purchased cross border permit and roadside assist at very reasonable rates. I would use ATET again.

Firstly, I booked with ATET over some more recognisable names (AVIS,HERTZ) as they were the only company who were open and transparent about the total cost of the rental if you were to include insurance waivers etc.
We took a short taxi ride from central Ljubljana to the downtown office. We were offered windscreen protection, but never pressured to take it (we didn't take it). We were on our way within 15 minutes.
After dropping the car off at the airport I received my deposit back within 24 hours. Also, the total cost was the original quote - no hidden charges.
A good experience for me, and I would recommend to any friends who were to visit Slovenia.

Hice la reserva online, ya que si la hacia online 100% te daban un 20% de descuento. Ademas de agilizar las cosas y simplemente coger las llaves del coche. 1 problema: Al llegar tuve que hacer todo de nuevo como si no hubiera hecho la reserva. 2 problemas: Resulta que segun la pagina web, tienes 3 opciones para elegir el tipo de seguro que quieras. Yo elegi el de a todo riesgo y me cobraron 120€, pero al llegar a la oficina, me dijeron que al haberlo hecho online solo tienes derecho a 2 (los mas baratos). Resulta que tuve un servicio peor y pagando como si tuviera el mejor, ya que el 2 servicio costaba 90€ (30€ menos que el mas caro y el que yo habia contratado realmente por la pagina web). 3 problema: Ademas de esto, he contratado el servicio hace una semana y aun no me han devuelto el deposito, cosa que no deberian haberme cobrado porque conocidas mias lo habian contratado previamente y no se lo habian cobrado. Todo mal excepto el coche, que fue muy comodo y no gasto mucha gasolina. Era un volkswagen polo

Pred kratkim sem najel avto pri ATET in sem bil zadovoljen. Osebje je prijazno in brez problema vljudno odgovori na vsa vprašanja. Tudi vračilo avtomobila je bilo preprosto in brez problema.
