More scrutiny required here
Fundamental basics lacking in the level 2 property survey. Biased and a arrogant delivery of survey too. This area of their business, I believe, requires closer scrutiny for a fair and correct delivery of survey. Items flagged up as very problematic of the survey, and the advice forwarded from Ashton Woods surveyors on the back of these items were later diagnosed as totally incorrect by highly skilled and seasoned persons in the trade.
The Aston Woods surveyor lied about serious issues in his survey and resisted the professional advice from specialist surveyors. Consequently, his client failed to get the house they so desired for a great price and they also get to pay for his services again.
I would not recommend for property surveys; and if so, only for a new build survey as this appears to be the standards they can achieve correctness with.
