We offer weekly art classes and workshops in a supportive, non-competitive environment, featuring projects in drawing, painting, 3D modelling, mixed media, papier mâché, and more. I’ve been going to the adult class at Art K for a year and I love it. Aastha and Simon are truly passionate about all kinds of art and are knowledgeable about a vast range of mediums. I love the flexibility to be guided by them or do entirely your own ideas. Since joining I have done a water colour, oil, 3D model, guache and a pencil portrait. I love taking the pictures home and knowing I worked hard to achieve them. The staff are always there to help where you need it, but give you enough space to be independent too. A great class with a lovely atmosphere, and the opportunity to be as creative as you wish!

Astha and Simon are wonderful teachers: encouraging, supportive, enthusiastic yet giving participants the space to find their own direction. They create a lovely warm environment. These 2 hours are honestly something I look forward to in my busy week. Thank you Astha and David.

My son has been going to Art‑K St Albans and absolutely loves it. Such a fun, friendly space with the most amazing, inspiring , encouraging, and nurturing teachers. The support and encouragement he receives from Aastha, Simon and Layla have been truly fantastic! They not only nurture his creativity but also his confidence, and love for art.
It’s been wonderful to see his creativity flourish and thank you for making every class inspiring and fun for kids. Highly recommend for all ages.

Reading this brought such a big smile to our faces. Having him in class brings such a vibrant and joyful energy, and we absolutely love seeing his creativity come to life in each project. Really inviting and warm experience as well as being supportive and encouraging to try new mediums. I have not been brave enough to try something new but I know if I did they would advise me on how to do things. The environment is really positive and calming

Wonderful art classes
These classes have been amazing for my 10 year old daughter.
She looks forward to them every week and has been creating such beautiful work in many different mediums.
They are small classes and always so welcoming and warm. Simon, Ashtha and Laila are all so wonderful.

We love having her in class and seeing how excited she is each week. It’s been amazing to watch her grow in confidence across different mediums. I especially love how she always adds her own unique touch to her work—it’s so lovely to see her developing her own style.
Her Van Gogh project is coming along beautifully, and I was really impressed by her idea to combine two paintings while still keeping inspired by Van Gogh’s style. It’s always a pleasure to be part of her creative journey 🤍
Relaxed and fun
It’s a relaxed, fun environment. The teachers are friendly and there to help and make suggestions if needed. A very enjoyable way to improve art skills!

An oasis of creativity
The class offers the freedom to try out new techniques and styles with the expert guidance of our tutors. The friendly atmosphere means we are also gaining inspiration from our fellow artists in the class. It’s a truly immersive and creative space.

Great space for kids to be creative
My 8 year old son absolutely loves the art clubs in the holidays. He's always excited to create something new and be with other like minded people. Thanks for creating a great space for kids to be themselves.

Creative and fun
My daughter loved her session and came home happy and full of ideas. She loved working with the staff and meeting new children.

My daughter(age 6) attended a half day session in St Albans. She says: "I loved the teacher, called Simon. I loved using the special tools [to paint], especially doing the white dots [snow effect]. Using the watercolours was my favourite bit."

This a such a friendly and welcoming class. My daughter loves attending her art lessons, even if she's had a difficult day and doesn't really feel like interacting with anyone, she knows that the atmosphere in her Art-K lesson will be calm, creative and productive.

Highly recommend
M DD have been atSt.Alban centre for a year and half now. She thoroughly enjoys these sessions and would not want to miss the sessions. Astha has kind and gentle way of nurturing students in to a routine. The students been introduced to variety of materials and techniques starting with simple and getting into 3D forms etc. we highly recommend the center.

My children had a lovely time at the Art-K summer club. They enjoyed the projects and were very happy with the clay models and art they brought home. The staff were also great and very accommodating for my AuDHD son.
