Screen protector fitted at hub 30/10, following day protector had “bubbled” at top and side of phone. Quality of protector seems very cheap like Cling Film. Phoned, told to take it back for premium product to be fitted. This was a premium product!

Very unhappy with the service and outcome. I originally took my Z Fold 4 in to have it checked over in August I was told that the screen needed to be replaced at a cost of £480.00. At the this point the service from Bradley at Chelmsford was good. After six weeks the phone was turning off when opened so I returned it to the shop(12.10.25 @ 10am). I was told by Bradley that it was a warranty repair and he would look into it. At 340pm on the same day I received an update from Bradley that he was looking to the fault but it was going to take a few days. I had received no further updates from Bradley so decided to pop into the shop on Wednesday(15.10.25) to enquire how things where proceeding. Bradley was there with a colleague called Callum who now seemed to be taking the lead on the warranty repair. Callus explained that he believed it to be a software issue and that he would look into it where apon Bradley showed me the phone half taken to pieces and said they would be in touch once they had diagnosed the phone further. I left the shop slightly concerned to why it had be half dismantled if it was a software issue but being no tech expert I believed my phone was in safe hands. I received a phone call from Callum on Thursday morning(16.10.25) to let me know that he was going to backup all of my data for me and then factory reset the phone to reinstall the software. Second phone around an hour later from Callum to ask for a couple of passwords to make sure the data backup was completed 100%. A short while passes and Callum calls again to tell me he has broken the screen after trying to clean the hinge as it had lint in it and it would need another new screen which I needed to pay for. I would like to say at this point I was never made aware of the lint issue until Callums last phone call to me. The only other option he was willing to give me was another Z Fold 4 they had in Norwich which I would have to pay for. I felt rather miffed by the fact that unarmed work had caused the damage to my phone and that as a result of Callum breaking my screen I had to pay for it or buy another phone from them. My response at the time was that I would call back when I had thought about the options. After reading the T&Cs on there website I felt I had a genuine case for a refund on the original repair so called Callum to discuss this his only response was to agree he knew there was things in their T&Cs to cover this happening but he would need to discuss this with his director. An hour later he calls back to say there would be no refund because the warranty on the screen was void. Remaining calm at this point I ask how the build of lint and fluff could be that large to cause the new screen to fail in six weeks the phone is keep clean, tidy and in a very robust hardcase but answers were very limited at this point. I would like to add at this point that Bradley who originally to the phone outer casings off is in the habit of wearing fingerless woollen gloves which whilst the phone was open for three days prior to Callum taking over is where I truly believe the lint/fluff came from. I now have to return to the store to collect a phone that's not even in the original condition I took it in to them which would be classed as mint condition as I pride myself in looking after my phones and to be given a USB stick with all of my data on it from the phone. Oh and I almost forget Callums best comment that was to make a claim on your home insurance as they will just send you a new phone. In all very poor
There are many, if not the vast majority of stores, who will convince a customer of need to take a certain direction with either an unnecessary repair to a product or when it is not the correct way to proceed.
Their advice to look again at the problem was made by Neil & Simon and it made perfect sense. It did not result in an immediate purchase from ArmaFone but it will do.
Their honesty and knowledge, in our opinion makes ArmaFone an excellent choice when one has a phone needing repair or indeed to purchase another. Thank you!

I was so delighted with the service I received from the very friendly Neil and Mr T today. Both were very professional polite and knowledgeable. They made the whole process of getting my phone screen fixed very easy. They even repaired it in one hour, while I did my shopping.
I would highly recommend.

The worker at the store was so professional and polite. I am okay with technology, but not great. Being a retiree I am used to some stores treating me like I am a bit silly when it comes to technology, but he did not in the slightest. such a great experience and I fully recommend this store for providing me with 'old fashioned service' which I would describe as professional, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Thank-you what a great job you did.

Neil at ASDA Ipswich is an absolute star! My iPhone charger broke off in the port on a Friday night. I reached out online and got a quick response the next morning. Neil walked me through my options, and it was sorted within an hour. I’ll definitely use this service again—thank you!

I wanted to replace my Galaxy phone with an iphone and also upgrade my old ipad. Another store in Ipswich offered ridiculously low rates and were reluctant to help me transfer photos from my phone onto an sd card. So I went to Armafone at Asda in Ipswich. I’m so glad that I did. Mark who attended the desk was really helpful, friendly and polite. He transferred over 2000 photos (!) and helped mt to choose an iohone and another ipad. It took well over an hour but Mark remained upbeat and was really helpful. I will only use Armafone in the future and cannot recommend the company highly enough. 5* all the way.
