Rui Wang with ARK7 scheduled a meeting with me to answer my questions. She made me feel comfortable as new investor to Ark7 and went above and beyond explaining how Ark7 works. She was very informative, and as a result I will be most likely investing in more properties in the near future.

Pretty good so far
Overall I would say Ark7 does a good job of making useful information easily accessible and makes it easy to invest. However, there were a couple small annoyances for me. It wasn't immediately obvious to me that certain properties are only for accredited investors. After I figured that out I identified a different property I was interested in before I signed up. Then I found out the only property actually still not fully funded was the one I was least interested in. None of the other properties on the front page were up to date. Thankfully there's stuff available on the secondary market, but it takes a few days to add money to the account and to process purchasing shares.

I enjoyed the platform when i first…
I enjoyed the platform when i first joined. There were multiple property options at a much lower price point ($20). I also liked that the distribution for each property was proudly displayed and searchable.
- Secondary Marketplace should also be sortable for distribution.
- Total Value - should reflect any loss/gains that my current portfolio have based on current secondary market pricing.

Your money will sit idle because of slow order process
It takes weeks for orders to go through so your money will sit idle. As an investor I need my money to always be working for me, so this is not a sound investment for me and that is why I invested a small amount at first as my experience has made me cautious for good reason.

I like the concept of investing but…
I like the concept of investing but it’s not worth the time. Monthly earned gain$ are very minimal less than $.50/mo.
Yet I’ve purchased several shares in several properties.
Nonetheless, this is my 1st month earning gain$. I will see how it grows in the next 2-3 months. If. I thing happens im out.

Left Wanting More
It was a confusing and lengthy process trying to invest on their platform. All of the marketing/advertising I saw online for Ark7 indicated that you can get started for as little as $20 and it’s an easy and quick process. But, when I got signed up I realized that there weren’t any options in the primary market for my budget. Actually there aren’t really many options for any budget. At the time that I’m writing this there still aren’t any options and this is three weeks later. Seems to be very little availability on Ark7.
What was really frustrating is after you sign up, and see that there’s little being offered for investing, you can’t cancel your deposit. And once your money is on their platform, it’s stuck there for (I believe) 60 days. This is a policy due to government regulations but I feel we should be able to see the offerings prior to joining. Moreover, we shouldn’t be encouraged to deposit without reviewing everything.
One positive thing, although they couldn’t help me resolve my issues, I have to say that their support got back with me within 24 hours every time that I reached out to them. So I have to give them credit for that. Maybe they’re still building their platform, business relationships, and investment partners? I’m not sure, but this could be a good investment platform if there were more offered.
All-in-all, I am a little disappointed with my experience so far. We’ll see what time tells. Just don’t set your expectations too high.
